Ordered chicken Kiev 12” calzone and beef lasagne with onion rings. Onion rings were ok. Calzone order was incorrect but still ok ish until I got to the piles of badly dry chicken, thick with cheese and lacking the other ingredients that was promised. Very disappointed and threw half away. Partner also threw half the lasagne away, saying it tasted really cheap and tasteless :/ disappointed, as we love trying new places.

Ordered 6 pizzas yesterday tea time. They were absolutely delicious- everyone really enjoyed them. The dough was freshly made and the toppings tasted fresh. Very friendly service. Will definitely be a regular customer now!

At the start of Lockdown 1 we picked up a take away from Hippos Pizza as it had been recommended by a friend. We have been ordering regularly since as the food is of a great quality and always reasonably priced. The waiting time is generally 10-15 minutes which is ideal for collecting. The pizzas are so light and flavoursome. We have never had a bad pizza from here! The side orders of chicken strips and wedges are also a great choice. Could not speak higher of Hippos Place from our experience. Always our 1st choice venue for a take away!

He estado usando esto para llevar muchas veces y nunca decepcioné, pizzas y kebabs realmente buenos, siempre listos a tiempo para la recolección. Realmente lo recomiendo. .

Pedimos papas fritas y un kebab, ¡las papas estaban frías y duras y el kebab era el peor kebab que he probado con salsa de puré de tomate y no pedí! Cuando llamé para quejarme, el tipo era extremadamente grosero y cuando le pregunté por qué tenía la salsa de tomate, dijo que pedí ensalada que definitivamente no es ensalada. No obtuve ninguna disculpa. para ir a un curso de servicio al cliente, estoy seguro de que "¡el cliente siempre tiene la razón! '' Recomendamos encarecidamente no realizar pedidos desde este lugar a menos que desee malgastar su dinero. . .

I used to be a regular customer here but they’ve really gone down hill. Thought I’d give them another chance but the pizza was burnt yet again.

Ordered a Margarita pizza, BBQ chicken pizza snd chips. Margarita was very well cooked. We had to take the chicken off the pizza it was dreadful,after one mouthful it made me gip, it has a jelly texture and really odd taste, absolutely aweful- won’t be going back

I went into hippos tonight and recieved the worst treatment ever from a young lad on reception,i said hello as soon as i walked in and got no reply he just looked straight through me,i ordered pizza,burgers and chips,he told me how much it was to which i received no please,thank you nothing.The food took ages and then the manager/chef told me they had made me the wrong pizza.Which rather than wait for a fresh one i decided to take as the rest of my order was ready. Whilst myself and my daughter were waiting the lad on reception was constantly starring and smirking at myself and my young daughter,which made me feel really uncomfortable.upon leaving i heard the lad laughing and talking about me with the manager. The food was REALLY SALTY,the chips were SOGGY,so along with the worst customer service i have ever received. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK,THIS WAS ONCE A PIZZA SHOP THAT TOOK PRIDE IN ITS POLITENESS OF STAFF,CLEANLINESS OF THE SHOP AND LOVELY FRESH FOOD!!!

Ordered a steak burger, carbonara and a margarita pizza. My partner couldn’t bite through the steak, the salad constituted a piece of gem lettuces and a slice of tomatoe. It was that small there was still space the box ( box chips usually come in). The carbonara was like eating mouthfuls of salt with all the bacon in it and the pasta was only just cooked (at best). The margarita pizza looked like something that had been warmed up. Paid £16.00 and over half went in the bin!!

Been here a few times and I can honestly that it's better pizza than all others in the area in my opinion. It's cheaper than domino's and just as good quality. Pizzas are always well cooked with plenty of toppings. The side orders are top quality too. Not sure about delivery times etc as I always collect but my experiences have all been superb

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP. Del driver attempted to del to wrong house. He then gives my tel number to that house who then calls me to complain that I've ordered food to their house. Called to complain to manager who doesn't care and just gives me attitude back and abuse. No apology. No excuse as to why driver has given my number out. DO NOT ODER !!!!!!!!!!

Stone baked and using traditional Italian ingredients. This is a Pizza place and not one of those 'one-stop', Jack of all trades (mater of none) take aways which means their pizzas are as good as any you'll get in central Venice.

Unfortunate that I have to write this for a local business ,I have used for a long time as I live locally, but the delivery service is dreadful, they will tell you the generic 45mins as a delivery time but have waited upto 90mins + on too may occasions for delivery. As a family of 5 with 3 kids under 10 this is not acceptable. Coupled with the raising salt content in there food and the arrogant attitude of there manager when questioned on the above I strongly recommend avoiding this business and will be taking my business else where.

Make toast instead, this place is dreadful. Two pizzas arrived looking, feeling and tasting as if they'd been made mid afternoon, the fries were simply inedible. For a takeaway this place isn't cheap, you would hope they could at least serve up an edible pizza but my experience confirmed not!

Ordered a pizza and portion of cheesy fries for £9.50 which came cold. Rung to complain and request a new one and was spoken to by a rude man who claimed he was the manager who told us we he did not agree that the pizza was cold. He said that we should put the pizza in the oven, however I do not pay £9.50 for a pizza to have to put it in the oven due to the lack of warmth. He also told us that we had only ordered a 'basic' pizza, so if the pizza is so 'basic' surely it being warm should be a 'basic' concept? Disgusted at the mans rude manner and disgraceful customer service.

On those lazy evenings when you can't be bothered to cook and fancy something tasty head to Hippos. Their pizzas are fabulous. During the early part of the week a free dessert is given....love the profiteroles. All cooked fresh to order. Love it.

Love this place - we order regularly can't find a pizza place to match it! In fact we love it so much we are so disappointed they are closed two days per week!

Nice crisp base. Nice toppings meatballs a bit artificial. Needed to add black pepper and a bit of chilli to add a kick. Good for the price fresh and tasty and arrived hot

Moved to the area and tried the majority of food places. Ordered from here and these are the best delivered pizzas in the area. Only negative is delivery times. although last few orders this seems to have improved.

we have ordered from here on many occasions and the food has always been reasonable, for the last 2 weeks they have got our orders wrong, the first time we ordered two bags of fries and 3 mini chicken fillets but ended up with a bag of onion rings, bag of chicken fillets and 2 fries( that were cold ) so had to call shop to be told that the order had been mixed up and they were very busy and would give credit on next order, I advised we were hungry and wanted what was missing from the order sending out .....tonight we bit the bullet and tried again ,ordered a half and half pizza meatball and chicken barbecue.....they sent a whole barbecue chicken ....on calling the shop again member of staff checked with chef who I could hear shouting in the background that he had out meatballs on the pizza and that basically I was lying .....I told them I would gladly take the pizza to the shop to show him ....no apology or solution was forthcoming....will NEVER USE AGAIN be warned !!!!

I do recommend this Pizza shop to all Pizza lovers.Hippo's special and sergeant Pizza (it's spicy) are unique. Their website is very easy to use and even you can make your own Pizza.

Pizzas are authentic and delicious, ordered online and it said it would be 45 minutes but it arrived ten minutes before that.

Ordered online and the system was not showing what I wanted. Pizza had toppings I asked to remove. Errors do happen. Went back and they were happy to exchange it for another one. Keep this up and your reviews will continue to be great as your food is fantastic.

The pizza is really nice, but the customer service is absolutely awful. So disappointing as the food is great, but I've been put off ever using them again.

Lush pizza! Really nice, shame about the long wait delivery..but we were informed of this when ordered so we just collected. Can't complain about that can you really. Really fresh and nice and hot pizza! My favourite place

Always delicious although delivery is sometimes a long wait. I would recommend the garlic bread which is yummy.

I ordered a veggie pizza. It certainly had vegetables on it but they were thrown on, uncooked and tasteless. Base, sauce and cheese were bad too. Sadly this is my closest local pizza place but I'll go elsewhere from now on.

Its not one of those 3am greasy burger type takeaways but it is my favourite because it does takeaway right. hot food, cooked well, good products and fast service its a winner.

There were several kinds of pizzas to chose from. Excellent service and the food was amazing, delivered to the able nice and warm. would love to re-visit.
