Fantastic place!! Darin and Hatwan were amazing, so lovely and helpful!! Amazing place with incredible staff :)

This place used to be legendary but unfortunately it’s lost its charm. The Staff used to be so friendly, playing banging tunes and interacting with customers and generous with deals, but they’re now focussed purely on getting every penny out of you . Portions gone down whilst prices gone up and no simple friendly gestures like free cripsy bits that made you want to return. Large portion also smaller than before. Hopefully returns to its heyday

Saw a rat in the kitchen eating a chip. I think it’s on their payroll? idk but anyways chips and gravy was okay except the gravy looked like the maker was constipated.

A not so bad place. Fish could have been better as it was thin and dry. But mostly the food is good when there is nothing else open in the early hours.

Ordered cheesy chips and gravy through deliveroo and they sent cheesy chips and curry sauce, I can’t eat curry sauce. I tried to ring them to get them to send another but apparently the number they have listed is ‘incorrect’ so was unable to rectify the order.

I ordered Fish & Chips, the fish was over fried and chips were not good. Too much oily food and my room still has a bad oily smell.

Gave me an uncooked sausage then said I could only have £2 back to refund the sausage itself instead of the full meal. Hard to put a value on food poisoning I guess.

They blast music so they get your order wrong all the time. Visited 3 times and chips are always a massive let down and the donor meat needs an investigation that stuff is deadly. Avoid 100%

Dropped into Crispys by myself (female) and tried to pay via Apple Pay as I didn’t have my card with me - as I was about to pay for my pizza my phone died and the lad behind the counter kindly took my Phone and charged it for me whilst making my pizza so I could pay at the end. I can’t tell you how much this small act of kindness meant to me tonight. There was absolutely no fuss about it and I was made to feel at home whilst I waited for my pizza. To the young man who served me tonight, thank you so much. You really made an embarrassing situation so simple and comfortable. The staff, service and food at Crispys is unparalleled. One of the worst takeaway I’ve had, the food was covered in grease, when I complained he said it was what I’ve paid for, I wouldn’t even give this to the dog. Avoid this place

Excellent cheesey pizza and welcoming staff. Would recommend to anyone who wants a lil mid-Otley run chippy and boogie. I will be back.

Not only the best fish and chip shop I have ever been to, but hands down the best nightclub going. 10/10 for effort and commitment to fun from the staff, excellent swag.

Regularly go there, so good food What stood out is one time after a night out me and my mate were dying of thirst, tried asking for tap water at other takeaways who wanted to charge us, went to Crispy’s and not only did they give us water, it was bottled. They have my loyalty

Ordered sausage and chips x2 for me and my mate. Instead got two sausages in the same tray and 5 chips.

Ordered from here last night. Both myself and my girlfriend got food poisoning from the veggie burger and chips, not sure how that’s possible but we’ve both been throwing up all night and this morning. Reading some of the other reviews makes me think the staff probably made the burger after scratching their arse. Disgusting place.

Me and my friends were locked inside as they refused to serve anymore customers evening though advertising being open for a other hour. Too take matters further, they literally locked us inside and forced us to eat our food to close earlier than expected. As well as this they have missed my drink on countless occasions. Would not recommend as we were literally locked inside and forced to est the food we paid for. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I made an order through them through Just Eat, which never arrived, but they marked it as delivered. I tried to call them multiple times and my call was consistently ignored

Pedimos comida anoche a las 2: 56 am y nuestro pedido fue confirmado y el dinero fue sacado de mi cuenta. Entonces, después de una discusión por teléfono, anoche me quedé sin comida y me robaron mi dinero. Sin condolencias de esta horrenda comida para llevar. It's ok for food wise chips are beautiful but pizza could do with abit more work.

So I have to admit initially we were kind of scared of going there because it was not well rated but then you know how things just go, you want to try it to judge it personally, and then it turned out to be literally awesome, we even got a third portion of chips and cheese with gravy sauce for free and that made it utterly perfect! It was kind of rude not to say that we got a spare one for free but we definitely enjoyed it to the full! Thank you for making our hangover the best experience ever! Gonna come back for sure! That was great guys, keep going decent!

Worst pizza I have tasted. I ask for a chicken wrap but they didn't have any. Settled with a pepperoni pizza. There wasnt Much taste but the little taste that there was was disgusting. Wouldnt recommend to anyone

Quite the sexist place. Got served after ordering what was on display in the heated cabinet. Unfortundatley the chap behind the counter proceeded to serve the 6 women behind us in the line and give out what was in the counter. All in all took 25mins to get some chips and kebab. Although would prefer there to be no finger nail in the box next time!

Seriously if I could give this disgusting, dismal place zero stars I certainly would. We went in there for a "Chippy tea"" and ordered fish, chips and mushy peas. We waited inside for 30 minutes then our order was given to us partially cooked, the fish batter was all soggy and undercooked with grey fish inside that smelt off. the chips didn't even look like chips at all but mis-shaped potatoes with 'eyes' and black bits on them and the peas were freezing cold and just sloshed all over the chips and not in a seperate tub as you usually get in other chip shops. went back to the counter and the two lads serving were unapologetic, unhelpful and refused to refund our money, next to add to all this another guy cooking dropped chips on the floor and picked them up with his bare hands and put them in someone else's order. if you don't want serious food poisoning then avoid this place at all costs.

Prioritised flirting with 19 year old girls over serving the long queue of people waiting to order their food. Tried to ask how long the wait would because there was 4 members of staff just stood there doing nothing, and the guy who was “serving” told us to join the queue and wait our turn. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes to serve 3 girls in a fast food restaurant. Not to mention the guy was in his 40s shouting at members of staff to turn the lights down. We left without food. I refuse to give money to such an obnoxious man. Poor customer service is an Understatement

Really, really crispy. The one star hygeine rating does not reflect the 5 star experience I had here. That "one star" of hygeine cleansed me more than any bath I have ever taken. I went here at 12:19am and the ambiance lulled me into a trance-like state. Time didn't seem to pass, and before I knew it I had a warm parcel of cheesy chips and gravy. My depression disappeared, my anxiety long gone. While elbow deep in a pool of cheesy gravy I even received a phone call from my father who went missing in 2008. As I finished my meal the smiles on the faces of the loyal staff put my soul at peace, the hot gravy taming the fire within my restless vessel. Each slice of melting cheese was tenderly wrapped around my heartstrings as the sizzling chips kept my heart beating. I came back to my senses at 3 am, I knew I was not in my humble house but I truly felt at home. The warmth has resonated through me, life has meaning again, I have felt something for the first time in a long time. My sincerest thanks for the spiritual awakening provided here for the low price of £3.00. Thank you.

Absolutely appalled at the customer service! A friend and I were told our food would be 30 minutes, they took a bit longer than said so we proceeded to wait then after 1 and a half hours I started to get fed up and tried calling them they answered once and hung up on me so I kept calling for half an hour until they finally answered and they said they would be 10 minutes. Still took them another half an hour to get here! Absolutely disgraceful.

Food hygiene RATING 1 given by government food standards agency. The screenshot shoes the lack of respect for customers as they are not taking care of the food being given to us. As you can see it says the food might not be safe to eat as a major improvement is needed. I will link the website for any customers reference. Absolutely revolting disgusting place to go! Everything is fried in the same oil that must be 5 years old... walked out with a frazzled tray of chips that had big black hairs on them! Almost puked.. threw the lot in the bin!!! Disgusting!!!

Two days in a row I tried to call to order something and nobody picked up the phone. I was about to totally give up but tried one last time and somebody finally answers. I told them my address and started to place my order only to be stopped half way through to be told it's going to be 2 hours! 2 hours to travel to Meanwood(a few minutes journey by car). No worth the bother.

Ordered from you, then called because order was late after an hour you told me that you had sent the order another hour later still ko pizza and won't answer any phone calls. This is unacceptable, poor customer service and just plane out rude if you weren't going to send us out THREE PIZZAS THAT WE PAID FOR just tell us.

Took an extra 50 minutes to deliver. Always add extra time on to deliveries. When it's busy the food is horrible.

Ordered on Early hours of Sunday morning. It is now Thursday and the stomach cramps, headache, dizziness and almost hallucinogenic dreams are only now slowly beginning to wear of. My appetite still hasn't returned. I've been stuck in bed for four days so it's safe to say I won't be ordering from here again

Asked for gravy and got given curry

Terrible service, wrong food was delivered. A lot of laziness shown and I've basically wasted 17 pounds for nothing. Never again.

We made very clear instructions that we did not want gravy on cheese & chips, with a pot of gravy on the side. They put the gravy on the chips and then tried to charge us for an extra pot. We would like either a refund or the chips re-delivered as we initially requested
