Called in on our way back to the holiday cottage after a trip out to the hills. Tea and cake seemed in order and as ever the cafe delivered just what we needed! Delicious fruit scone for my husband and a lovely lemon fridge slice for me. The staff are so friendly and the surroundings so nice. A favourite spot!

Tuvimos un delicioso almuerzo en nuestro local.El pollo con semillas de sésamo con salsa de miel y soja estaba tan tierno, el costillar ahumado era perfecto y, siendo yo búlgaro, pedí una ensalada Shopska, que me devolvió el sabor de casa a lo grande. Siempre amables, siempre acogedores y aman a nuestra perrita Missy: puntos extra de brownie.

We booked this family run hotel for a funeral tea for my brother. Having never been before we dropped in for a visit, and were warmly welcomed by the owners, we were given reassurance about the day and could tell that they have experience in this type of event. We were not disappointed the food was warm and plentiful. We were all well looked after, the atmosphere relaxed. nothing was too much trouble. We appreciate everything that was done to help us on this sad and stressful day. I would like to go back one day in happier circumstances.

The food was ok but almost not spiced, the "spicy" version tasteless. The service was terrible, there was a mistake with the order - we ordered 2 items, we got 1, and when settling, we asked for it to be rounded up to £35 (less than £3 tip) and the waiter entered £45 on the terminal, when we realized it was too late. After tipping half the order, the waiter suddenly became 5x nicer and even walked us to the door. Overall, I do not recommend it, for PLN 250 you can eat much better food with service that does not extort.

Teníamos pescado con patatas fritas y salmón escocés. El salmón era excelente! Definitivamente ordene esto. El pescado con papas fritas está bien. Escogeríamos otra cosa la próxima vez. Los precios eran razonables. El servicio fue muy bueno y la comida salió pronto.

Visited today for lunch. Food was fresh and super tasty, the chef Ruth was really helpful with the menu options as we had vegan and gluten free in our group. The salt and chilli chips were a big hit, recommend to others. Service was also great from Innes, who was friendly and polite. Will definitely be back.

On arrival restaurant was pretty empty so we were hopeful of a freshly cooked breakfast, unfortunately it was the opposite! The breakfast came quickly! All breakfast items had obviously been cooked in advance. Bacon - was cold, hard and inedible Egg - over cooked & rubbery Beans - were cold Toast - don’t think it had seen a toaster, more like warm bread. Surely cooking a fresh breakfast when not busy can’t be that difficult. With 2 coffees & 2 OJ’s it cost £40! Worst £40 we have ever spent. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

The food is so expensive and taste so bad also are so small portions, and the costumers service is so bad, they hit the costumers for personal problems in their shift time, so unprofessionals

Muy decepcionado de que ya no hay bagels sin gluten. Compra con el aspecto de que podría hacer con una buena limpieza. Personal agradable.

Cannot fault this place the special fish is tasty and huge! My pizza was so delicious I had it again the following weekend! We try and eat here couple of times a month as a treat it’s a family favourite staff are very friendly too!

We went on this tour on Saturday 3rd of September for my daughters 21st birthday the lady that took the tour was brilliant learnt lots about GIN and got to sample purchase and wax top a mini bottle, it is really worth a visit the Tour Guide was called Elisa very easy to understand, I would recommend if your staying central Edinburgh you would need a taxi to and from! But overall a fabulous 👌 day out thanks from us in Belfast x

I no longer stay at the hotel but I still go to the public bar and injoy my time there also the staff are still very welcoming and friendly as all the people who go there to
