Very disappointed that there are no gluten free bagels any longer. Shop looking as if it could do with a good clean. Pleasant staff.

Poor service, left standing while they worked on delivery orders then eventually served us another long wait on food even though no one else was in the shop. Got home to find the chicken on the parm and buffalo chicken was crunchy and very poor quality - chips were drowned in salt. For a £30 lunch for 3 bagels and chips this was an extremely poor experience and I will not be returning

My first time at Bross Bagel Bruntsfield, what an amazing place. Staff very friendly, patient as punters try to choose from their substantial menu. Ordered a Buff Chick Club and two Montreal bagels. Short wait and then discovered how good these bagels actually are. The Buff Chick Club was sensational, huge portion and bursting with lots of flavours. The Montreals were also really good, real classic offering.

Brilliant food. Came here for lunch/brunch. McBross is great - so tasty. Definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I stopped by this morning to buy bagels as Bross Bagels on St Stephen street in Edinburgh. We got half a dozen sesame bagels and they were delicious. Large, tasty with a great consistency and lots of sesame seeds, these bagels were by far the best we have had in the two and a half months we have been in the UK. Staff was very courteous and friendly! This is a must visit when in Edinburgh!

Terrible experience!! Went into the St James Quarter location at 2pm and was greeted with blasting music, had a menu thrust at us, told anything in pink (half the menu) was sold out for the day (this is the branch that’s open until 10pm!) and was told by the girl that she’d be back before we got a chance to say a thing. We sat down and looked at the menus only to realise that only the one on the counter had the pink sold out highlighted, but as other people had it we had to wait. Meanwhile a migraine was kicking in as they had the music so loud and was finding it hard to think and try to remember what was and wasn’t available we left empty handed. We’ve since heard the same story from others. I’d really wanted the matzah ball soup but it was sold out, it was after lunch so understood, but as a friend works he’s been in several times only to be told MULTIPLE things… the soup kettle is broken, it won’t be back until the winter, they’re changing the recipe, they can’t get stock. The staff literally can’t keep their story straight. And according to them and their website menus it’s the only branch that sells it. Thankfully I have a chef friend who’s making it for me so I don’t have to go through that ordeal again. Edinburgh deserves better than this. I’d love to report on the taste of the food, but it wasn’t worth the hassle and as it seemed to be run by two teenagers I wasn’t holding up much hope.

Been many times. Amazing tasty bagels. Highly recommend the chicken bagels with avocados and delicious mayo. Recommend ordering in advance to pick up otherwise you will wait for ages for them to make it.

Booked my pick up order online at 12.10 for pick up at 12.40, it was ready at 1pm. It was clearly busy with people walking in off the street, but my order was not priority above the walk ins. My order was started to be made 15 mins after it should have been ready for collection. I barely had time to eat it as my lunch break was nearly over by the time I got it. Such a shame, I’d heard good things about these bagels but it would make me think twice about going back if time is limited. Taste was pretty average - a bit too much Mayo and mustard, it slipped all over the place and was a difficult eat without knife and fork.

If I'm not mistaken, what I've got was the cheapest kind of meat possible, so charging over 7 pounds for a bagel like this is not really fair? The same issue concerns the quality of bread, so I don't think I'll come back there, which is a shame, because I pass this place every day.. :(

Speedy takeaway, delicious bagels. Menu varied that I would want to come back and try something different each time, rather than the usual “play it safe” and order the same thing each time. Always queued for pick up of takeaway food, which is always a good sign. Will be back many times for that salt beef goodness!

Wow this was our first visit and wish we had found it sooner. If you are looking for something different to eat then head here (or to one of their other locations around Edinburgh) or order for delivery. The vegan FAT was so tasty and the Big Apple was full of meat ( £5.95 each I think) The menu has loads of thoughtfully put together options for all tastes and there are hot and cold options ( or make up your own). The service was slick (I ordered at the door, but you can do it online) Covid rules are being fully followed. Maybe we can't get to Canada or the States at the moment but one bite of these and you can dream. Enjoy!

When we walked in and were waiting to be seated we were ignored for ages before we were finally acknowledged and seated. After sitting we then had to wait longer to be given menus. We ordered our food and when it arrived we noticed we were missing our side of chips we told the waitress and instead of getting our chips we were then accused of not ordering them. The toilets were filthy, broken mirrors, stains on the toilets , graffiti and overall unusable and disgusting. Would not recommend and will definitely not be back. ( would have gave 0 stars if possible)

I recently dined at Biblos Bar and Diner and had a great experience. I ordered fish and chips, and both the food and service were excellent. The meal was satisfying, and the staff were especially attentive and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat in Edinburgh.

I opted for the Mac’N Cheese as you can see. It tasted very nice, although there appeared to be a shortage of thick creamy cheese sauce. There was a side of garlic bread which enhanced the experience. The garlic bread was a little overdone. did ask to have a piece of cutlery changed as it was marked. The atmosphere was ok to start the night although it quietened down quite dramatically as it got a bit later.

Had a lovely time at Haute Dolci in Edinburgh, with a great location overlooking Princes Street. The venue has a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The desserts were beautifully presented and tasted good. However, I think the mango shake could be better. That said, I'd still recommend this place for the ambiance and service 👌🏻

We booked this family run hotel for a funeral tea for my brother. Having never been before we dropped in for a visit, and were warmly welcomed by the owners, we were given reassurance about the day and could tell that they have experience in this type of event. We were not disappointed the food was warm and plentiful. We were all well looked after, the atmosphere relaxed. nothing was too much trouble. We appreciate everything that was done to help us on this sad and stressful day. I would like to go back one day in happier circumstances.
