A lovely characterful pub, spectacular location on the hillside with views of Corfe Castle from the beer garden and the breakfast room. Was expecting a small standard room and was pleasantly surprised when we were shown to our ‘room’ which consisted of a bedroom, seperate wc and bathroom AND a sitting room with a couch and dining table. It was cosy and warm and welcoming- could not have asked for more.

Although I have not been impressed with the service for some time now and have tried to avoid having g to write a poor review, unfortunately I was utterly dissapointed with today's service and had to break my silence. I have been coming to this place for years and it's always been really nice (hence the reason I kept returning with friends and family). However, the past two years it has really changed. I attended today with a friend and family after hyping up the place to my friend and they were very excited to come. Withal, I couldn't help but notice that, not only they I creased the price, making it very expensive, but they seem to have reduced the buffet and the new buffet does not seem to reflect Brazilian food as it used to be. Instead they seem to have removed many dishes and only have basic/ standard salad items, two types of rice (plain boiled and some type of fried rice) some bland mushroom soup looking dish and some watery bean soup and some tapas type stuff, pasta and what looked like ratatouille- all very substandard. To add insult to injury, we kept being rushed off our table, despite today being good Friday and the restaurant being almost empty when we arrived until we left. There also used to be a diverse team of waiters, however; I've noticed that the past few times, there are no Portuguese speaking waiters, and everyone seems to be Asian (it seems the restaurantis under new management), nothing against that, but one would expect he waiters to provide information about thr food and to see a diverse team (as previously) that were knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients, or how they're the dishes are prepared. However, the recent team has no idea about the dishes and do not seem interested, I stead they only seem to want people to eat and rush out, even though they were not busy. Not impressed! £126.90 for three people and £42.40 for one a one glass of drink (wine and cocktail/ cocktail + £16.93 for service charge seems a bit much for substandard food that we could have elsewhere for a half of the cost. If the service was the same as previously, I wouldn't have minded, but it's really bad for that amount. I will not be returning here.

Very friendly staff very reasonable

Genuinely rude new bar manager who was incredibly unhelpful and basically told us to go away. As regular customers who have been coming here often for months it’s so disappointing as we now feel we are not welcome back. We have no idea why this is the case as we are never excessively drunk or aggressive or any other kind of behaviour that would excuse her talking to us in this way. No idea why she wouldn’t want to encourage regular custom. Basically ruined one of the best bars in soho. Rest of the staff are lovely but she is really off putting. Garden around the back is great and drinks are well priced but still

El viaje a la estación de metro de Liverpool Street definitivamente vale la pena para llegar aquí. Excelente comida y cócteles caribeños. Realmente disfruté los buñuelos de bacalao y las costillas jerk que estaban encendidas cuando visité. Servicio muy eficiente y sin duda volveré!

A real surprise great atmosphere.. Not been in much before. A place in Malvern that really was not on the radar as places to visit if you wanted a drink and good atmosphere however, the new owners Darren & Charlotte are very welcoming and turned the place around so now I recommend it fully so check it out, as you too will be pleasantly surprised..

There was fabulous food with authentic spicing. Great service, too, with helpful guidance to an extensive menu. The dining space is well presented and tasteful. We will go again.

Jollof rice with chicken. Very tasty and fair price

He estado yendo allí durante 20 años extraños, ya que soy local. Pero reduciendo la frecuencia cada vez que voy. Ahora voy una vez al año a ver si mejora. Lástima que es solo pura vergüenza desde el principio, el bar, la dirección, el sistema de precios, el sistema de venta de entradas, los trabajadores, ninguna flexibilidad ... Demasiado potencial, tal cintura. Otra vez terrible. El club nocturno es mucho mejor.

Me and my husband were looking for some place to have lunch on Bank Holiday and came across this place. Vibe inside was nice and it was very busy and lots of people. Coffee was delicious but unfortunately when I started eating my pastrami bagel I noticed a nasty smell, only to open the bagel and find that the meat inside had clearly gone spoilt. It was a patchy dark grey colour. I checked the date on the packaging and it had todays date on so it hadn’t gone past it’s use by, but was clearly out of date, this is concerning. The business needs to keep an eye on this as it can make someone very unwell. During our visit all we could hear was crockery being thrown around behind the counter, not sure if the tall chap was in a bad mood but he was doing the dishes very aggressively and we could barely have a conversation and hear each other. Also, the toilet was filthy and there was no toilet paper. Looked as though it wasn’t cleaned regularly. Definitely wouldn’t come back here, which is a shame because the coffee was the best we’ve tried in that area.

What disgrace out with friends, group of guys started fighting, no security staff, evening ended abruptly with police being called..

Their coffee is incredibly good, it’s right outside the station, and it’s super easy to grab a coffee, always fresh croissants, I loveee the raspberry one 🫶🏼All the food is handmade and absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely friendly—definitely stop by and try their coffee!😊

Why do they say 45 mins when they make you wait 1hour and a half or more their food is good but if they can't keep up with the orders for delivery they should stop its not the first time it has taken so long
