We booked at the Palfrey for late Sunday lunch (5pm) and were really glad we did. All the food was outstanding, with brilliant service. The starters were all exceptional - beautifully presented, and then the roasts were absolutely delicious- we paid £5 per head extra to have a little bit of all three meats - well worth it. Finished with chocolate ice cream for one grandson, and a chocolate pudding shared between three adults. It wasn’t super cheap but not super expensive either for four adults and one child to eat, but so worth the money - way above normal “pub grub”! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very nice small cafe, had a beans and sausage toastie, I really liked the books they had there to read, and various stuff you could take away for free.

To keep this short, we have been going to Rev De Cuba in Derby for many years and it was always the place to go for cocktails and a great atmosphere, not anymore. It was shocking to see how this place has been run down to a point where the cocktails appeared and tasted watered down, very little atmosphere and full of hen and stag parties. What was a brand that was really respected has turned into a “Benidorm” atmosphere is really sad to see. Been looking at the group finances it doesn’t make for good reading. Do the right thing and cut the number of bars and concentrate on the core product and get the vibe back again. What an absolute shambles.

First time visiting this restaurant for a meal. Overall very impressive and I 100% would return again. You won't be disappointed! Overall 4/5 stars.

Average . It was busy and the food supply was consist which is good and it was like warm which kinda scared us but we was not unwell . Would return . We left full and happy

You won't find a better atmosphere anywhere! Everyone is so warm and welcoming. Good Vibes only and the best reggae music. What more could you ask for x

Mutton was mainly fat and bone and a few pieces as part of a meal. No value for money or taste and hardly any mutton.

Lovely restaurant in Stuart Hotel. Food is very nice indeed. Of particular positivity was Katie (restaurant staff member) who went above & beyond to enable specific meal requirements and was outstanding in service & manner. Other staff were all so helpful, friendly, and assisting. Outside hotel is basic, not pretty, but the service and standards indoors make up for this in every way. Can't fault how we were looked after, and the onsite restaurant is a real asset, as was the staff member who looked after us so well. Car park still poor, cappuccino weak. Needs an xtra shot in a large. Doughnuts now expensive. Not so special really. Wanted to be wowed here but think it’s not gonna happen
