Came for bottomless brunch with colleagues, had a great time service was impeccable, Evie was brilliant she was always on hand for everything we needed with plenty of refills! Food was great everything arrived promptly, all the extra sauces provided really add a great touch. Will be more than happy to return!

Went out friend were trying to cheer me up.. I was allready full .. But the food ordered was nice… Very pricy … I normally drink 2 cocktail on occasion. But friend enjoyed there drinks. Absolutely loved Turtle Bay, easily one of the best places in the UK for authentic Caribbean cuisine! Their Caribbean katsu curry and jerk chicken are a must-try for anyone who loves flavorful, expertly seasoned food. Each dish was a delight, bursting with authentic Caribbean spices that transport you straight to the islands. The vibe here is just as amazing as the food, making it a perfect spot for enjoying a meal out. Highly recommend for a true taste of the Caribbean!

Food was poor quality, service was rubbish as no one asked us for drinks. Music was so loud that we could not have a conversation. Was made to feel like we were an inconvenience.

Visited the derby restaurant as was in town for the day and must say not a great experience! The curry goat arrived FULL of fat so was not edible, asked to speak to the manager to get the meal removed off the bill, Thiago, who was a covering manager from the Leicester branch said he would remove the meal but I asked for a complimentary cocktail as a good will gesture and he flat out refused! He was very rude and passive aggressive. I asked do you not have the power to give a free drink in place of this terrible meal and he said yes but it was his choice to do so but just didn’t want to! He also kept giving me daggers the rest of the evening LOL. ‘Brilliant customer service!’ I then spoke to another manager, didn’t get his name but he was very understanding and was surprised we were treated in this way. He was more than happy to give us a complimentary drink so that was the only bonus of the whole evening! Paying customers are always right, number one rule! Managers should lead by example, I bet the staff at turtle bay where Thiago is based are really unhappy working under him, I would be!

We met up here, during the day, for my teenage Granddaughter's birthday. The food had been well cooked, staff were well informed regarding allergies & also recommended I checked upon their app.. To check for myself, which items on the menu, were gluten free. There had been a great selection of 2-4-1 cocktails.. Which unfortunately wasn't extended to the mocktails.

We had Hannah as our server today. She was fab! This is probably the best bottomless brunch we have ever been to. The food was excellent and hot. The cocktails were really tasty also. Hannah made our stay great, she was very attentive and making sure our glasses were always filled! Definitely be back soon!

Went here for bottomless brunch for my birthday and this has to be the best bottomless brunch in Derby! Our server was Jess and she was great at making sure our drinks were always topped up - unlike other bottomless brunch places where you have to get the server's attention every time you want another drink haha. The ribs were absolutely 👌🏻

I had food poisoning from eating from turtle bay derby more than 4 years ago, immediately after leaving restaurant, I started vomiting on streetside. I have never had food poisoning before so I stopped buying from that location and I didn't make a complain about it neither, which I regret doing now. However since this year 2024, I started to eat from there again, to see if they have improved food quality. I recieved festivals with raw dough, just before I bite into it, I realized something was wrong with texture so I binned it. I received 3 pieces of curry lamb in my food and about 6 big chunks of big fat. I complained about food quality and turtle bay confirmed they don't remove fat from meat so its just unfortunate that I received fat instead of meat. They gave me partial refund in voucher instead of full refund as compensation. One week later after receiving raw dough, I wanted to use my voucher, so I decided to buy from derby location again. I purchase jerk chicken and served it to my children and husband. My children complained meat is red, I had already started eating chicken myself, then I stopped and open up meat and all of the center of chicken was bloody, red, pink and texture was soft and looked uncooked comparing to the top of meat. I binned all the jerk chicken. I complained again to turtle bay head office; they responded chicken is cooked as the core temperature reached 75 degrees and told me I can request refund from deliveroo. I requested refund from deliveroo and deliveroo rejected refund, I told them that deliveroo rejected refund and they did not reply to my message but instead remind me that bloody chicken is cooked and safe to eat. I am so disguised with turtle bay and their head office, I will be complaining to food standard agency about them and I will open chargeback with my bank to get my money back. I will never again buy from them. They sell people unhealthy food, high risk food and don't like to refund customers neither. When is the uncooked food not safe to eat? After you eat it and get food poisoning. I got food poisoning from food they claimed the core temperature had reached 75 degrees. Do not buy into this nonsense never eat food that looks uncooked.

We came here for my 20th Birthday and Sydney was absolutely amazing at taking care of us, we were a party of 9 which can definitely be hard to manage but she was great at coming back at the perfect times to grab us more drinks and was so polite and friendly, she definitely made the experience so much better. Another thank you to Jess who was also super nice, managing to get me a drink that I really wanted to try close to the time we finished our bottomless brunch along with a free shot because it was my birthday. Thank you guys for making it a lovely experience for everyone!
