Booked this on recommendation. Place was spotless. The location is in a beautiful little village, so quaint, get there early and have a little walk around, better in the sunshine. Staff were excellent, couldn't be anymore friendly and helpful if they tried. Food was so lovely. Vegetarian options were plentiful, with a chef that is an actual chef that can cook when required. They seem to cater for all needs..my partner is a vegetarian, and had the cauliflower wings with ranch sauce, which I tasted too, they were so good, definitely recommend those. All the courses are very substantial, so wear your elasticated pants. The gravy on the roast was probably some of the best gravy I have tried, a bowl of that and some bread, I would have been happy. Like I said the staff were so pleasant, all in all, it made for a lovely afternoon meal out and a great end to the day. Go try for yourself. Thank you all 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We ordered from “Crystal Mangal” which is what they are now called, you can find them via google maps but wanted to spread the word here too. Great doner kebab, we’ve not had one this good recently and the kebab is served with the salad to the side and you can order sauces separately. Really good quality taste and chunky slivers of doner meat. Highly recommend.

We all had the trip of meats for Sunday lunch today. One plate was fine, two plates with slightly overcooked chicken and beef and the pork portion was very small. All edible however I would not expect this to be so considering the time of our booking of 12.15. The rest was good.

I do not recommend getting any drinks there that are mixed ( only bottled ), make sure you watch the bartender make the drink as I made a mistake of not looking and I’m pretty sure something was put in mine and my friends drink, as this was the only one we had and we were sick and completely locked out from everything around us, we can’t remember most of our night ( and we didn’t even drink much). They also sell alcohol to teenagers and they don’t check ids. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

Don't go if you are planning to go to the theatre as they have a limited menu which is basically 5 meals, fish and chips, burger and chips, plant based burger and chips, sausage and mash, plant based sausages. Disappointing we arrived 5.30pm for 6pm booking. I ordered the burger which I wouldn't normally eat they were out of gluten free buns. The people on the next table had a similar issue with something being unavailable. I won't be going back such a same it used to be really good.

We are newbies to Nando’s, so the waiter explained to us how it all works when we arrived. Not going to lie; find it a bit odd they can’t just take your order and you have to go up or use the app, but I guess some people like it like that. Our food was out within minutes of ordering; it was nice, though I think smaller than the menu suggests e.g. butterfly chicken is apparently two chicken breasts; it must be a very small chicken to be two. Anyway, it was nice enough and an experience we’ve now had!

Atmosphere pleasant, a bit less busy than some of the places... spotted a number of previous negative reviews, but this definitely wasn't our experience. Coffees whilst not the fastest to arrive were excellent...one of the best flat whites I have had. Didn't eat, so I can't comment on the food but what saw looked good Staff seemed friendly though and based on todays experience would be happy to return.

I found myself at Stansted airport last Friday with an unexpected four-hour layover in the middle of the day, courtesy of delayed Ryanair flights. I couldn’t bear the thought of spending that time loitering in the International Arrivals or Check-In areas prior to being able to check-in my hold luggage two hours before my rescheduled flight. Thankfully, I remembered that the Radisson Hotel is just a brisk two-minute walk from the terminal building and knew that their lobby bar / lounge would make for a more pleasant option to pass the time and have some lunch. Although the Wine Tower Bar is not the cosiest of places due to the extremely high ceiling and echoey atmosphere, seating is plentiful and comfortable, and the bar was extremely quiet at the time of my visit. The short Daytime Bar Menu offers good quality food and decent portions, though at admittedly high prices, but, in my opinion, at much better value for money than at the airport, where my “restaurant” choices would’ve been Burger King and Costa Coffee. My very tasty Chicken Caesar Salad cost £19.50 plus £1.95 service charge. Other guests nearby ate Fish & Chips, and the size of the battered fish was generous. There is an extensive beverages menu including cocktails and mocktails, Guinness on tap and, of course, the contents of that famous wine tower. A very good Americano and a Virgin Mojito came in at around £14, but were worth it for the sake of being able to spend my wait in the bar area and avoid the airport terminal chaos until it was time for my check-in. Kudos to Loveline at the bar who looked after me well once we got over our language problems – her accent and mine didn’t gel well.
