worst customer service, been going for years, and was treated with disrespect and misogynistic behaviour from staff, very disappointed as food was good

Do not eat here, absolute rip off. Tiny portions, some great other local restaurants that are 100% better. Terrible place to order from. Supposedly £65 worth of food delivered. £11 for 8 miniscule chicken wings.. absolutely diabolical. Shame I can't give a 0 star rating

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with my recent encounter with this delivery service. The delivery arrived without offering a contactless option and insisted on cash payment, despite no prior indication of this requirement during my phone order. After explaining I don’t have cash I was informed that a link would be sent to facilitate payment. However, I was abruptly informed that my family and I were prohibited from eating until payment was made. In an attempt to salvage my meal and enjoy it while still warm, I politely explained that I would eat before proceeding with the payment. Regrettably, this reasonable request fell on deaf ears. The delivery personnel relentlessly knocked on my door, pressuring me to cease eating until the payment was settled even though the link was yet to be received. Despite my repeated explanations that my food was rapidly cooling through no fault of my own, their insistence persisted until I felt compelled to resort to threatening to involve the police. Eventually, I fulfilled my promise to pay as soon as I finished my meal, but this entire experience left me deeply disgusted and utterly appalled. As a previously loyal and regular customer, I expected to be treated with respect and understanding. However, the way I was handled during this incident was not only unprofessional but also unacceptable. The lack of empathy and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by the delivery personnel is deeply concerning. I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken into serious consideration by the management of this delivery service. It is crucial that they reevaluate their delivery and payment processes to ensure a more positive and customer-oriented experience. Needless to say this will be the last time we order from here.

I have just paid over £16 for mixed shish and chips and got meat that wasn't even marinated, complete and utterly joke, will never stet foot in there again

Order arrived within quoted time, great pizza and great kebab, unfortunately they had ran out of lamb doner so had chicken instead and wasn’t disappointed

I went there and asked for a plain burger with nothing on it completely plain. There was cheese on it. How hard is it to make a burger with nothing on it.

Popped in after the open mic night at the GOAT and I have been craving another. Excellent Kebab worth the extra pound. Place is small so not really a place to sit and eat.

This is my local kebab shop, the food is OK and the staff friendly. If you want a reasonable kebab then Crystal is ok but it is certainly nothing out of the ordinary.

Strong pita, fresh tomato, crisp lettuce, tender meat (donner is perfection) flavoursome sauce (chilli and garlic) freindly helpful staff and great lighting. I haven’t found a better place.

Best Kebab take away anywhere in hertfordshire.The service is always excellent with fantastic variety of shish and doner.The staff are always attentive ( no matter how busy they are ) and the food serving counters always look clean.When ever i visit family back at Berko I always make a point of picking up a chicken shish with chilli sauce.Living close to london i see a copious number of kebab shops however none can lay a finger on Crystal.Keep up the great work guys and see you in a few weeks.

Wouldn't usually leave a review for a take away, however I felt compelled to do so. The service was fantastic - very friendly, serving fresh TASTY food for great value for money. (The shish was one of the best) Extremely clean inside. When I am berkhamsted again I will definitely be visiting.

I've been to a fair few kebab shops in my time, but there is not one like Crystal! Amazing service and amazing food, what more can you ask for?! The guys there always have time for you no matter how busy they are and the food is always very tasty no matter what time of the day! I've tried many things off there menu and never disappoints, plus their pizza is better than dominos!! Highly Recommend!

Always quick service, and great kebabs. Cooked to order and topped with fresh salad. At £6.90, a large donner kebab is good value for money. Haven't tried anything else as the kebabs are so good....

Took a takeaway as visiting someone in Luton, average lamb kebab nothing special. it was cooked well but taste was average.

Love this place for a healthy(ish) take away. Staff are always friendly and food cooked to order. The Chicken Shish kebabs are always delicious and relatively guilt free. Recommend placing your order and popping into The Goat for a quick drink while you wait.

Es una tienda local de kebabs - allí no hay nada extraordinario. La comida es preparada por, las patatas fritas son en realidad bastante bien y la carne Doner es, bueno, Doner carne! La comida es mediocre, el precio es un poco alto y a veces me preocuparse por la higiene como he estado en varias ocasiones cuando las uñas bien recortadas de las personas manejar los alimentos parece bastante sucio.

Got to be the best shish keebabs - when we want a healthy takeaway - lean grilled meat, salad and pitta bread - always a winner! and the chaps are always so friendly and lovely xx

This is my regular takeaway venue. The staff are friendly and always willing to get your order how you like it. Ok so I don't actually have to say what I want anymore, as it is "usual today?" The variety of the menu is great and it really does not matter which item you go for it will be good. The sauces (made on site) are great highly recommend both the chilli and garlic mayo, combined together simply exquisite. They are open late most nights. Ohh and for those who are thinking of your waist, don't worry. I managed to loose 5 stone and still have an extra large mixed donner with large chips every fortnight.

Love it! Chicken shish with fresh salad and chilli sauce on the way home, why wouldn't you?? Very consistent, they also deliver!

Decent kebab shop, sells everything you would expect. They make the chilli sauce which is very tasty. Always go for the chicken or lamb special.

Love, love, love this place.. whether it is after the Rex or after a few beers - always very friendly and their lamb shish is fabulous! Never lets me down.

So under rated the kebab! This is our families health takeaway. We have the lamb shish - so it is freshly grilled lamb steak meat, with salad in pitta bread! Fantastic!

This is a takeaway rather than a restaurant that is open quite late. Have had a couple of takeaways from here. Very reasonably priced food served by friendly staff. Much more than a kebab house: I usually have Chicken Shish which is quite tasty. Portions are more than ample.

This is the only kebab place in Berkhamsted. Decent if unspectacular. Nothing to rave about but not bad by any means.
