Efes kebab pizza house in Uttlesford

Rating as Kings. Food delivered cold, part of the order missing, and refused to return call to resolve. Won’t be going back.

Kebabs are lovley and pizzas as well the prices are suitable friendly staff. Very clean inside lovley to have a takeway like this in our village

Now Kings. Lost an order because they wouldn't make a half and half pizza. Simple enough request I would have thought. Maybe they don't need the new business...

I travel from Harlow to get the best kebabs I've ever had

ordered by phone for a 7pm collection on a busy Friday night. When I arrived the shop was really busy but the staff were great and the order ready to collect. Amazing shish kebabs (one chicken, one lamb kofte) with great salads. Highly recommended thank you

We have used the best part of 50 times in the past 6 years, which tells you the food is good. In that time we have had a few hiccups but always been minor and nothing drastic. However on my birthday this year we had an order for 8 people which was not only slow to arrive but two orders were completely wrong and two kebabs missing altogether. To be fair they did offer to rectify but it would have been too late for everyone to eat together so we kindly declined and were offered a free kebab next time. Relationship still intact and no hard feelings, although a bit disappointed we shared the food out and tried to reassure our friends who were new to the area and whose food was missing that the takeaway was usually good. Fast forward a month and when ordering our next takeaway, we were told they wouldn’t deliver as the order would be too low with the free food taken off the total. After a lengthy description on the phone of why and told we were a regular customer..... we kindly cancelled the order and ordered from a different kebabery. We will no longer use Efes and will be telling all friends and family who order from here our bad experience. Unfortunately Efes is a kebabery I would no longer recommend.

£19 for two kebabs, how much!? It took two hours for delivery and then the wrong food turned up!!! Told we could have a refund and the delivery man would come back and collect it... bad service, won’t come back!

Kebabs are the best I’ve ever had, marinated chicken, fresh salad Ignore all the bad about waiting times etc It’s well worth the wait!😉 Some people in this area are bellends and just love a moan!!

Dominoes wouldn't deliver so tried another company no go tried these guys in Hatfield heath and they were prompt with there timing and the food was nice thanks guys will order again

One of my favourite places for takeaway. Go there with my dad all the time. The guys who work there are really nice. Food is extremely nice. I always try to try something new. Never disappoints.

This was always a great place for a pizza. However service is now non-existant. The last time we ordered a meal we were told 45 minutes. After 45 minutes we phoned only to be told it had been held up. We waited another 20 minutes and phoned again. It still hadn't been made let alone left the premises !! My wife went to collect it. She still had to wait when she arrived at the store. We weren't the only people complaining. They have obviously had a change of staff and management. But this has not been to the better. Suffice to say we won't be ordering from them again.

Absolute nightmare! Every single order we have had is wrong! They always forget something! 4+ phone calls from various different staff members and the order is still wrong! 45 minutes after eating we get our chips.... No compensation of extras as a way of apology. The staff don't appear to understand what u want on the phone... How difficult can 4 kebabs and a large chips be!?! This is the last time we will ever use this take away. Once is understandable, twice maybe!... But every single order! Had enough!

Extremely disappointed placed order for delivery estimated delivery 45 minutes. Hour and a half later a further phone call and another 15 minutes wait. I decided to drive and collect myself, it took me 10 minutes to get to Hatfield Heath and the order still wasn't ready, my potatoes were still waiting to be fried!! The pizza and kebab were sitting on the side so by the time I got home they were both cold and greasy. I could not believe the number of people that were behind the counter, the shouting, and I was not the only person who was there complaining. So very sad. We used to order regularly but the last 3 occasions have been bad but this time it was absolutely awful.

Having ordered by phone for delivery with 45 minutes delivery slot, an hour and half later a further phone call to be told a delay of another 15 minutes. I went to collect, the order was still not complete although the pizza and kebab were waiting on the side. Think twice before using this store.

Always used to look forward to a kebab from efes but past few times the meats been as dry as anything. No sauces were given, they always forget items to !! Then claim we never ordered it in the first place when really they don't wanna admit to forgetting cook it.

Love this place but this is the second time we have had kebabs delivered with no sauces which makes them so dry. The food is excellent and I have always loved the kebabs but think this will be the last time. The pizza for my son was excellent and the guy in the phone said he would see if the delivery driver had any sauces in car but never got call back. Excellent quality food let down by a small thing, sadly don't think we will order again.

Really nice pizza but took 1 hour 10 minutes to deliver it 0.4 of mile, still in the same village. Would have been quicker to have ordered from Harlow or Stortford. Shame.

Unusual but fancied a chicken shish for dinner last night and I came across Efes Keebab in Hatfield Heath . We pre ordered and collected - and my Saturday night treat did not disappoint . Although It was huge and stuffed with salad and chillies it was also packed full of tasty chicken . I also ordered a portion of the halloumi cheese which was in a separate container four large pieces with salad . Locals if you haven't tried you are missing out ! Will return .

Excellent service speedy delivery and lovely food, used a couple of times now and all food has been excellent.

Been getting takeaways from Efes now for half a year & I can't buy from anywhere else around here. The bar has been raised too high!!! I usually order the chefs special & I can never finish it. Proper proper good!!!!!!!!!

Ive only ever popped in here for a chicken shish on my way home from Harlow but the service is fast and the price is great for the amount of food you get. It's clean and the flavour is fantastic!!

The only place that will actually deliver where I live, the food is very nice and always cooked well - Only issue I have is the time it takes to deliver/the wait in store for the food to be cooked, but it cannot be helped I suppose!

Regularly get a kebab from Efes & it is always super tasty. Usually go for a chicken shish & the chicken is always so juicy & tender. Staff are always very polite & ordering with them is quick & easy. Recommend many friends to them & will continue to do so.

Not too impressed with this place, whenever I order a chicken kebab the meat is so dry, chilli sauce is different every time I order and as for asking for garlic mayo I always end up with mint yogurt. Chips are awful. One thing I do like is there chicken wings

Great flavour kebabs, lovely fresh salad, clean premises and friendly staff. They will deliver. If you have delivery you can ask for the salad to be seperate so you can pop the kebabs in micro to warm up

The chicken kebab with salad and pitta is really tasty. The kids love the meat without the pitta. Great for avoiding cooking and healthy.

A great local takeaway, with the best tasting kebabs. Excellent delivery service, very prompt. Food arrives in the time frame given and is always hot. We can highly recommend the doner wrap (we have our salad on the side) and a small pot of garlic sauce on the side!!!

Used to be a fantastic place to grab a pizza,unfortunately while the pizza is still good the dips now tend to be half a pot rather than a full pot. Really disappointing service.

I always get a lamb shish kebab and it's always excellent. I've seen the pizzas and they also look good. They do get busy at the weekends, but if you phone in an order they'll let you know how long it'll take (either for delivery or collection)
