Excellent service, amazing place!

Lovely meal fish and chips and bbq ribs from new menu. Very tasty. Waiter Ant was very friendly.

Giraffe in Málaga Airport was a great experience. The food was delicious, good price and the staff was excellent. Great place for families with kids.

For sure it's not one of the worst restaurants in Stansted airport, but at the same time having dinner there is not an experience to remember. My hamburger was not bad but quite expensive and with poor quantity of fries. By the way, what needs to be mentioned is that the staff is very gentle and quite helpful in finding availability when there is a big demand for dinner time.

The best restaurant to spend time at Stansted Airport with its varied and delicious foods and pleasant atmosphere. I especially recommend trying their various breakfast options.

Asked for a specific table. Said no. Asked for a table away from other busy tables. No. Winded up on a table 20 cm from crowded table. Heard of covid? The restaurant was almost empty! Left while telling them the reason. They just don't care!

Quick service, pleasant staff. Food was good. Socially distanced from other neighbouring tables. Some dishes and drinks were not available but wide enough menu to choose something else.

This is a well run outpost of Giraffe. The server (Filipe) was very hospitable and friendly to me and all other diners I observed, and he checked on the meal once served. The avocado toast stood up, although the corn fritters were mushy— not at all crispy. But for an airport restaurant it’s a good bet.

You should add veggie sausages to your veggie breakfast

Staff is lovely and super responsive but asked to not have a bun and just have the content of the burger (falafel + halloumi nothing super fancy or hard to cook) for the same full price and instead I got a dry bun with falafel. Not even the smell of the halloumi which I expressevely asked for. Left 5 pounds in tips. Very regretful.

Don’t really go to any chained restaurant, but really wanted a big meal before flight so gave it a try. The food is nothing amazing but are of good quality. The decaf coffee was among the worst I have had though. The staffs were really helpful and always check on our table which we were very happy to pay more tips. The environment is okay and clean in general.

We had a great meal before our flight at Stanstead. The waiter Nuno was amazing, very attentive, friendly and even gave us some amazing tips for our trip to Porto. Thank you for all your help, Nuno - we can’t wait to try the francesinha!

Gluten free friendly. We had breakfast before our flight which was delicious. Welcoming staff who could not do enough for us. Our waitress Ilona was amazing and paid attention to my allergies. No ipa's of any kind. Massively expensive for average food. Very small portions of chips with burger. Chicken teriyaki not great Squid tastless Coke also tastless, probably watered down...too much ice anyway. £50 for 2 small mains and a starter. Criminal Staff are nice AVOID

When I really have to be in Stansted Airport, this is my breakfast venue of choice. Not a bad English breakfast at all, and the staff are cheerful. A good start to a holiday.

Burger from frozen, over priced and tasteless. Paid extra £1.50 for cheese sauce which couldn't even taste. Over £25 Bill for a burger and burnt old "espresso" coffee

I was craving a burger so I thought I’d try the ones they had in this place because it seemed decent. It was the worst thing ever! I had a classic burger with sweet potato fries and a breakfast tea with almond milk because they didn’t have any Coke Zero in a bottle, it was on tap only. The burger didn’t look like it was made out of meat, I’m not sure what that was exactly and the fries were so soggy and oily! I’m never going back to any of their restaurants, I was so bloated and in pain after the meal, I wouldn’t recommend it at all! I was going to make a complain whilst I was there but I just thought I’d pay because I didn’t want to miss my flight because of a burger!

Excellent service, very fast, super delicious and friendly employees. The colorful interior design and the relaxing tropical music created a very nice atmosphere. We missed our flight yesterday and were completely down. These guys made us smile again. Thank you! Definitely gonna come back next time we're at Stansted! For us, the best restaurant at this airport! :)

We were looking for a nice desert and ended up in Giraffe at Stansted Airport. I ordered Blueberry pancake. What a disaster! Three small pan cakes heated up in a microwave and blueberry jam on top of it. Probably purchased at Asda for 50 pence. The only good thing was that you could charge your phone while eating.

Very happy with my choice for pre departure lunch. I went for veggie bowl with tofu. Because I asked for tofu they took the egg off thinking I wanted it vegan (I'll bare that in mind next time). Very tasty and balanced flavours. Also big glass of tap water!

We popped in for a quick bite to eat before our flight with our little one. We were served by Istwan and I don't usually bother to write reviews but for this guy I will make an exemption. What an absolutely outstanding service!! Never been looked after so much before anywhere else. Absolutely amazing, quick, extremely friendly guy. As a retail manager I can see a lot and what I saw was Istwan running around, making sure everyone had everything they needed with a smile on his face. Not only he was three times faster than anyone else there but his customer service was superb! Absolutely superb! Wish I had a team like him in my store. Will definitely recommend this place as long as Istwan is there:) THANK YOU for making our journey so much easier.

The food was absolutely amazing, super tasty. Our waitress was super polite and helpful. My daughter loved the place so much that we are definitely coming back on our next flight.

Shame they have removed the Po Boy breakfast from menu to offer some true differentiation, but certainly a better menu than other standard ones offered in the airport Service was very good and they guarantee food within 10-15 minutes; nice brekkie sandwich, and coffee

Fantastic.. a 04.30 light breakfast and it was superb.. with a great choice feom full english, to veg alternatives. Served with a smile the smashed advacado and the scrambled egg and salmon were outstanding... just what was needed!

Good staff, friendly and quick. Extremely poor management Got terrible coffee, burnt, undrinkable ( & I m really not demanding ). Manager demanded to pay anyway cause "no one complained today", well..... complaints happen. Ps. One star cause i dont find "0" star.

Lovely clean and colourful environment, amazing nachos and lamb tagine. Jenny, Who served us was exceptional, helpful very courteous and made us feel very welcome. She even ran after me with my antibac which I left behind. Six stars from me!!

Had breakfast before a very early flight. My husband's eggs were OK but my 'granola fruit bowl was utterly terrible - about a dessert spoonful of granola in the bottom of a bowl, a 'touch' of yoghourt and very little fruit - all for about £5. Shocking. Won't be back anytime soon.

I have to say, I wasn't expecting much from a chain restaurant in an airport. Having said that, our waiter was amazing (and I think his colleague was highly appreciated too but I don't remember his name). On our receipt, I believe it said our waiter was called Istwan (I think he was of Polish origin but I'm not sure), wow what a guy. So friendly, so caring, so polite and just made our experience (and flight) so much better. It really makes a difference when the service is top notch.The food was great, we ordered nachos, the meze platter and a smoothie and it all came really fast (within 10/15 minutes depsite Istwan apologising 'for the delay').I really enjoyed and I would like to thank our waiter for making our experience at Stansted Airport so comfortable and stress free.

Jedzenie bardzo dobre. Bez zadnych zasterzeń. Mojito bardzo pyszka Baaardzo dobra gorąca i mocna kawa taka jak lubie. Obsluga na mega wysokim poziomie zwlaszcza Pan Łukasz..;) oraz drugi z kelnerów ktorego nie pamietam imienia. Maja gadane,sa mili i uprzejmi. Nie jedna restauracja moze im pozazdroscic personelu! Dzieki bardzo i pozdrawiam..kolezanka z Rze ;) x

I had a very tasty breakfast before my flight to Nice. Friendly staff, the food arrived quickly and was hot when it arrived but cooked down quite quickly. The filter coffee was very nice.

The food was nice, and came quickly. However, staff ignored me most of the time...waited for about 10mins for the bill, had to ask a different waitress for it, mine did not like me for some reason.

Never eaten at a Giraffe before so the new plant based diet offered an opportunity to try something new.Quick and friendly service, speed usually of the essence when airside and they didn’t disappoint even with 3 courses to deliver. Waiter was spot on throughout.Vegan choices aren’t plentiful but what we ate was good. Shared a rice bowl with tofu (Main) as a starter and enjoyed the beetroot and quinoa burger for main. The rice bowl was tasty, and with the tofu made a reasonable starter, tofu a little on the soft side but ok. The burgers were good, this is not a burger pretending to be meat and tastes fresh and unique.For dessert a warm apple crumble and vegan ice cream topped off a good meal.Relatively expensive for the standard and quantity but the captive audience dictates this in many cases.A decent choice.

The restaurant was quiet and we were greeted by a really charming and very efficient waitress. All went a bit down hill from there. Breakfast served with burnt toast (replaced when complained), scrambled eggs served totally cold (replaced when complained), coffee just about hot enough not to be returned. Other tables complaining about various other matters. Got an extra coffee on the house thanks to the most excellent under-fire waitress.

Great quick service. Food came out a lot quicker than anticipated which was great for catching my flight. Very reasonably priced too. Waiter was very friendly and chatty even gave me a little giraffe because he said I had a lovely smile. Such a sweet thing to do and really brightened up my day.

When I visited first time couple of years back everting was great but it changed since then significantly. Staff still friendly but food was cold, not very tasty and very small portion for £10 breakfast. Girl who was sitting next to me also complained about her pancakes being cold, will not be coming back again.

You know what you’re getting in giraffe, pretty standard fare at a slightly above average price (although in an airport that’s normal). I had the huevos rancheros and it was pretty tasty. The service was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I opted to eat here whilst waiting for our flight to Gran Canaria, we ordered two breakfasts and two coffees. The food took an age to arrive mainly because it had been left on the counter ready for the waitress to bring it to our table, by the time it eventually arrived the eggs had gone hard and every item on the plates was stone cold. I immediately complained and we were offered two fresh breakfasts. The two replacement breakfasts were seen being placed onto the service counter where we sadly watched them getting colder and colder.......at this point I was going to get them myself but didn't know whether they were ours or not so opted to wait.....Big mistake.....they were ours and yet again stone cold. End result was probably the worst food I had tasted in the last 60 years of me being on this Earth.

My colleague and I had a late lunch here prior to flying back from a business meeting. The staff were very friendly and efficient, despite how busy they were. The food was quick to arrive and very tasty so no complaints and I would happily eat here again.

We had breakfast here waiting for a flight.It's an airport food outlet, so don't expect it to have a Michelin star; but it's fine, it does exactly what most people want at that point in time.Nice food, well cooked. Friendly/helpful staff.(Panda likes them as well - see photos).

I had the Turkey burger, which could be warmer. Staff was really friendly, especially Maria, who brought my food and was always engaged with her customers.

Staff fantastic. Clean tables and floors how refreshing these days. So many places have forgotton how to keep tables clean and cleated. Had the Katsu curry......lovel. definitely use this place for food and good hot latte in Stansted airport.

Terrible food, stale and unpleasant. Good for smoothies and staff are fine but would not recommend for food, plenty of other options to choose from.

Had a quick breakfast before catching my flight to Dublin. Seems to fill up quickly and although I didn't have to wait (it was very early) there was a line built up by the time I left. Friendly staff, reasonable food, quick service.

Place was busy but the servers were running around seemngly doing nothing as the service was very slow. I ordered a latte but it sat on their counter for a good 5 minutes so when it got to me, although it was nice, it was cold! Others would have had the same problem because the drinks were piliing up on the counter When it came to pay I gave them a Jersey £20 note which they refused to accept even though it's legal tender! I won't bother going there again

Over priced. Ordered water and croissant with my Latte which never arrived. My rest of the family members ordered breakfast but have to ordered toast extra. Where on earth you have to pay extra for toast when you are having breakfast. Stay away if you can.

Service was ok at best. Food on the other hand was rotten. I ordered fish and chips that was overly dry and tasteless. 3 hours later I was at home with major food poisoning which resulted in 2 days off work...wouldn't even recommend to someone minutes away from starving to death.

£18 for days old ribs is a joke

The digital menu at the door is a pain in the neck. Takes too long to cycle through. But the restaurant itself is welcoming amd clean. Staff are efficient and the menu is diverse. All hearty plates of relatively tasty grub. The smoothies are very good. Ideal for a quick pre flight fill up

Comodo posto dove poter mangiare qualcosa in attesa della partenza, tenendo d'occhio lo stato del proprio volo dai diversi monitor presenti nel locale. Buona la qualità dei prodotti e buono il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Servizio abbastanza veloce ma non tutti i camerieri rivestono in maniera professionale il loro ruolo, specialmente tra le ragazze.

As airport eateries go, Giraffe is excellent. The cuisine that’s offered on its colourful menus is from all over the world. I took a Japanese angle and opted for the Gyoza and teriyaki dishes. The eating area is large, sociable, but not too packed in. Food is well presented, delivered quickly and freshly prepared. If the staff shared the same enthusiasm as the brightly decorated interior of Giraffe, it would be amazing. An enjoyable world culinary experience, quick and tasty.

Super tasty and well priced food not just by airport standards but by any restaurant/cafe standard. Our waiter Bence was extremely friendly and helpful and checked in on us enough that we were lacking nothing but without being too intrusive. Highly recommended.

What saves this place are the lovely customer service staff... quick, smiley and great service. Burger tasted like it had been sitting around for a while and tough as an old boot.

Whilst waiting for our gate number to be announced, felt a bit peckish. Theres lots of choice here at Stansted Airport and most (didnt check all) restaurants give you an approx time for food to be served indicator. I thought this was very useful

Had a delicous vegan meal at this place: tasty Moroccan Tagine with aubergines and spiced couscous + coconut yougurt on side (greatly surprised!); vegan apple crumble with coconut ice cream and a lovely mint tea (which is called 'moroccan' but isn't served liked one). I was served by Kasia, sweet waitress, friendly and very reactive. The kitchen staff is adding greatly to the service. The thing I didn't appreciate at all was another waiter, a very enthusiastic guy by the look of it, who should be advised to pull his trousers higher up as the look of his white pants would come around too frequently for my liking whenever he would pass through my table.

It takes ages for someone to take your order. The coach is incredibly dirty and stained with food. Staff is friendly and somehow you get to like this place, bur things can be improved.

Mangiamo in questo ristorante ogni volta che voliamo da Stansted, ci troviamo molto bene ed il cibo è buono. Essendo situato in aeroporto, è sempre affollato ed è quindi inevitabile che i tempi di attesa siano un po’ lunghi. In particolar modo ho voluto scrivere questa recensione per elogiare ed esprimere i miei più sinceri complimenti alla cameriera che ci ha servito, Natalie. Il modo in cui lavora è impeccabile, ha molta cura dei clienti ed è stata l’unica cameriera che correva da una parte all’altra e che svolgeva il suo lavoro in modo onesto.
