Best restaurant in Peterborough, big portions and low prices ☺️

Great food, nice and friendly service. Nice time spent with family. Price-wise it doesn't look that good, it could be cheaper, but honestly we ended up £140 slimmer and a few kilos fatter. A restaurant worth recommending.

We went here for a someone’s leaving do. I’d never ever go again. There was a ‘buffet’ laid out for us and to be honest it was not the best, serving spoons would have also helped with the 8 bowls of nachos with rock hard cold melted cheese on them. It seemed to be run by a group of teenagers who spent most of their time behind the bar messing about with each other. At one point the guy serving drinks was doing a plank across the bar (had his feet up on one side of the bar and his hands on the other). Whilst impressive, it didn’t fill me with joy with the thought of his dirty shoes up on the bar where they serve from. They let a group of girls take one of the tables we had booked. If this is what passes for service now days, im not interested. Avoid.

It's such a wonderful place. It's a place to go for having something bougie. If you're looking for something better than a high street chain, then this is the place to visit. They even sell wine by the bottle to take away.

Pretentious place full of racist management and snobby old members! There are better golf courses in the area that have a better club house and course! If you particularly a person of colour you will be looked down upon here! If you are closet racist you will fit in here! Built on waste land with smell of sewage around the course. You are better of going to the grove in Watford! 0 stars

This café has become an essential part of my daily routine—not just for the consistently perfect coffee, but for the incredible people who make every visit feel like coming home. Velina, the amazing owner, has created a space full of warmth and heart. Shayna, Neetu, and Josh bring such positive energy, remembering not just my usual order, but always greeting with genuine smiles and kindness that brighten my day. I am vegan and they try to keep adding plant based options in their menu which is so thoughtful. The coffee is always rich, smooth, and exactly what I need to kick-start my morning, but it’s the community vibe and personal touches that set this place apart. It’s rare to find a spot where the service feels this thoughtful and the people feel like friends. I’m so grateful for this little haven—it truly makes every day better.

A group of 13 women had a Pensioner’s Lunch here which was two courses for £14.95. There was a large choice of dishes, the food didn’t take long to come out and the young waiters were very obliging. We were in a lovely room with Wedgwood Blue walls. Incidentally, the chips were some of the best I have ever tasted!

We visit the Belgian Monk every time we head out to Norwich. Wonderful beer, excellent food, friendly staff. Brilliant 🙂

We were greeted by a superb waiter called Marvin who was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful. We will definitely be returning.

Doesn't live up to all the hype! Unfortunately due to nowhere to park we were slightly late to arrive. Tried to phone to advise them but no answer. We were met at the door by a staff member telling us we only had the remnants of the allocated 1.5 hours. Immediately on the back foot, we felt that we could only have a main course each. We were sat at a table with so much foot traffic behind one of the seats that we had to ask to move which added to the uncomfortable feeling started by the initial staff member, thankfully they obliged with a table change. The reason we went to this Ivy was that we were provided with a voucher as a wedding present. Expensive for what they provided. This experience has thoroughly put us off ever going back.

Have stayed here several times but just wanted to say a HUGE THANKYOU to ELLEN for her outstanding service, for her knowledge of her hotel rooms and local area, efficiency in dealing with our booking, follow up correspondence confirming our booking and then cross referencing with the restaurant in pre booking a specially requested table for dining with the restaurant team! This is the sort of service rarely seen by us and for that we sincerely appreciate and thankyou! Thank you also to Hotel Manager Ruby for her email and support for her staff. Would recommend! 🤞🫡🍺 Went here on a Sunday afternoon. Beautiful pub with warm lighting scattered everywhere. Got nachos of a great portion size! There was enough of each topping and the ratio was perfect. The skin on fries were also great. Service was attentive- everything great overall. Would be a good place to celebrate occasions. Will be back (hopefully 🤞)

Celebrating a 16th Birthday and what a fantastic venue. We were looked after from the minute we opened the door until we left. Brilliant staff and a great atmosphere. As for the food? Well it's one of the best Turkish places I've eaten in for a while. Highly recommend it

We came all the way from London for a trip, and this place truly impressed us! The food was absolutely delicious, but what made our experience even better was the amazing service. A big shoutout to Murat – he was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. His service really elevated our visit and made it memorable. Highly recommended!

Mother's day lunch was cracking. No skimping on the beef! Duo of lamb very tasty, veg cooked perfectly. Helpful staff. Didn't seem to be any booze in my (free) cocktail, but it was very refreshing. Overall great food, and great value for money x
