Ok. Eaten in all these related restaurants, London.... this one is the best. You must try garlic prawns.... off the scale good.... mushroom starter...unreal.... my old Man had this, global traveller.. said 9 out of 10... great service. Clean... going back with the Mad wife.... she will love it

Came here with a few friends to enjoy a birthday lunch and couldn't have asked for better service. The food and drinks also amazing. Thank you team for looking after us, they even gave us ice cream on the house! This has now become our regular eating spot, we will be back for more delicious food ❤

Had a takeaway for lunch. Having heard that this was a good resteraunt we ordered a mixed meat meze. I am afraid it was poor in my view. The meat was poor quality and the rest not much better.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Turkish Kitchen Hertford after picking up our parents from the airport on their first visit to the UK. We were all quite hungry and eager to find a Turkish restaurant, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel right at home, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The dishes were absolutely delicious, offering an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine. Each dish was prepared to perfection, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that transported us back to Turkey. Our parents, who were visiting for the first time, were particularly impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. It was a wonderful way to welcome them to the UK and share a meal together. We highly recommend Turkish Kitchen Hertford for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Turkish food and top-notch service. We will definitely be returning!

First time we've been back since the refurb and what a difference! Staff incredibly friendly, food really good, portions massive, atmosphere good (considering there was a wedding party there) and prices reasonable - what more could you ask for... Will certainly be back

Popped in as a spur of the moment thing and was thoroughly surprised by their £11.50 lunch menu. Food was hot and delicious, perfect portions. My partner already wants to return. They made a huge fuss of our toddler, very friendly staff and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and cocktails too. My husband and I went out for dinner on Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed authentic Turkish food. We ordered the mixed grill and chicken shish and chicken beyti combo. Each dish come with rice and a sharing bowl of salad.

Very nice restaurant. Just popped in for a quick bite at lunch time and come out stuffed. Only had lamachen and a pint but was lovely. Definitely coming back for the full works on date night.

Great service and great food, was given a free tray of baklava as a thank you. One item missing but they went above and beyond to make things right! Things happen but it’s how you make it right that counts and they were fantastic.

My family travelled halfway round the globe to meet our friends in Hertford and stumbled upon this gem that serves authentic and quality turkish food. Mustafa and his team displayed warming hospitality that made us felt at home. The quality and portion of lamb served were impressive and more importantly deliciously well done. Will certainly come back again the next time we’re in Hertford. Best in town!

Nice enough restaurant, but it felt like out of their depth for a large party such as we had. Took a while for drinks to come, and at times glasses were empty, and no server was about to refill or order another. The food was nice, although everything did taste of lamb, even the chicken, so I wonder if they cook everything on the same grill. A nice atmosphere, however, and well lit, unlike some others, which are badly lit. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, however probably could do with a few extra hands when they know a large party is coming.

Came in with high hopes but this was bang average. My lamb was dry and lacked flavour. It wasn’t terrible but at £20 for a shish you expect a certain quality. No bosh.

We had a party of 8 and all were served a more or less the same time and the food was first class.

Took my family for lunch today. Service was really rude. No acknowledgments. No politeness. No Thank you bye when we left. Just felt rude. Kids found it intimidating and uncomfortable. Such a shame I was hoping for them to have a good experience at the restaurant.

Got my husband to take to my favourite restaurant in Hertford for our 16th Anniversary today i never go any where else and Mustafa couldn't do enough for us very attentive caring what a lovely man Thank you left very full and happy 🥰❤️

Food and service were excellent,as usual. We hadn't been for a while and we're perturbed by the 10% service charge added to the bill. We usually leave a tip for the staff,so can the management assure me that the service charge is passed on to the staff?

The Turkish Kitchen is a lovely decorated restaurant with a great inside/outside feel in the summer. We had a late lunch on the set menu which was fantastic value, the service was also fantastic.

Delicious fresh fragrant food, reasonable prices and very large portions. A main meal is definitely enough food on its own. The virgin colada that I had was very good and not overly sweet. That service was fast, the staff were friendly and they weren't overbearing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food clean and well kept good service

I would 100% recommended this restaurant for a special occasion dinner. I got the Turko Burger and it was the best burger i’ve ever had. My dad got the chicken shish and the flavours made my mouth feel like it was in heaven.

Ordered dinner for 4 people tonight via deliveroo. No main meals arrived, cannot call Turkish Kitchen as it is engaged for 20 minutes and Deliveroo only offer refund without contacting the restaurant. Very disappointed

I was going to give this place 5 stars but unfortunately me and my partner got food poisoning from the lamb. I really didn’t want to write this review as the staff were amazing and the food was soooo tasty but sadly we are not well from it. Your lamb is under cooked. We couldn’t finish our plates. Sorry guys but please be careful next time.

Wow! Visiting Hertford and looking around for something for lunch came upon this restaurant offering a 2 course lunch for £10.00, thought that seemed to good to be true but people were entering and it looked quite full so we decided to give it a try. Wow, we're so glad we did. Fabulous service, fabulous food. I had the spinach and feta samosas they were delicious my husband had the courgette fritter very tasty. Then we had the chicken shish and the izgara kofte. Both served with rice and salad and absolutely delicious. Proper size portions not the usual half size you get on some lunchtime set menus. If it was that good at lunch time imagine how fabulous the evening menu must be. Definitely recommend this restaurant whether for lunch or the evening. Fabulous.

Food portions if you get platters appear large, but there was little meat on the items. Took 4 orders to get one drink, final bill was a shock

Been eating here for years. Lovely food (starter bread basket is amazing!!) but sometimes the portions can be hit or miss and the side salad isn’t always fresh.

Lovely evening, food was great! If I were to have any criticism it felt like they wanted us to go as soon as we'd finished our meal even though it wasn't late and we were still enjoying a drink but it was fine and didn't detract from an enjoyable evening

I enjoyed our visit here. It's not sophisticated and its rather noisy as it gets so busy. But it's busy because people like it and return. Food is good, service was very good, speedy and polite. Not cheap for Turkish, but middle of the road. I've been here a few times now and I'm sure I'll visit again.

Had a midweek lunch here, it was £10 for 2 courses and the food was great. Portion sizes were really big and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be back.

Never had a bad experience here. Manager and staff are friendly, polite and helpful. Food is lovely, and affordable for the area (though prices have gone up in recent months, no doubt due to the current economy). You don’t need to book during the day, it’s almost always quiet at lunchtime. I would certainly recommend booking if you’re coming for dinner, though, especially on a weekend as it can get quite packed.

Rice was cold. Rest of meal was warm enough to eat but not hot. Meat was good quality and meals were delicious as always, just a shame they weren’t very hot.

Like having a restaurant meal but I'm a takeaway container. Food is very consistent, big portions and always hot. The price may look expensive but it is what you'd get if you ate in there, just packaged in a box and not a plate. The cold mixed mezze is good and quite a big portion. I like that you get rice and salad as most places that sell kebabs charge you extra for the rice anyway.

Food was pretty good HOWEVER for the price you pay on this platform the portion sizes are disgusting!! £40+ will not get you very far. It is a bit of a cheat and perhaps people wouldn’t feel cheated if the portion sizes are described. Go to collect/eat in instead
