My partner and I cannot recommend Café Portugal enough, fantastic and delicious food, the Francesinha was life changing and the right amount of spice to make the mouth water and want to keep going back for more. Table service with Charmila was amazing, friendly and helpful, and with the owner taking time to engage and chat. Overall the atmosphere was incredible with happy smiling faces all round, for my partner a native Portuguese it was a little slice of home Muito Obrigado

I had lunch at Tatra on Saturday and I really enjoyed food, service and atmosphere. A first ever visit in an authentic Slovak-Czech dining corner - a very pleasant experience overall. Food was traditionally prepared and one could appreciate freshness and quality of ingredients. I had sauerkraut soup, followed by beef tenderloin. As a dessert, I tried the classic cake, Marlenka, accompanied by a Wien-style coffee (see pictures). The meal was much appreciated and we were served after a short wait. Service was caring and kind. The lady was attentive and asked if we enjoyed the food. The restaurant is situated in a small building, with easy access to the main street leading to Leicester's railway Station. The little space and the simple yet cosy decor of the restaurant made us feel really cosy and gave the environment a very welcoming vibe. I strongly recommend it.

I think it’s a laugh in here. everybody smiles laughs gets along. You can buy gifts and jewellery , food too! It’s like a little cave , also fresh pastries that look incredible and taste divine

Very generous portion and friendly staff. Recommend to reserve as its always full of people. Peri peri chicken was juicy and delicious must try.

Used to be good, but I got food poisoning twice!

Ordered a takeaway from here and was not disappointed! The wraps are amazing and are quite big for the price. Also ordered the mixed grill, which came with a lot of meat and rice as well as salad and yoghurt, which was good value.

Coffee and food is okay. But, there's a sign saying free WiFi for customers. Every time I come in and it's not working. If there's no WiFi, please put a sign up saying no WiFi for customers. Thanks
