If you're in the area and you're hungry it's the place to go... I don't make reviews normally but the service the food and the atmosphere is incredible

The food was delicious, great value and authentically Portuguese (my partner's parents are Portuguese). I don't often review, but had to here... outstanding service! My toddler has eczema and was really struggling this evening...scratching and crying. Multiple staff members checked on him, put me at ease, turned the heating down, brought him complimentary juice and chocolate umbrella to cheer him up, they really went the extra mile and we were so thankful.

I will definitely return to this restaurant without a doubt. Great food, generous portions, a good atmosphere, and what surprised me the most was the kindness and generosity of the restaurant owner. Unfortunately, there aren’t many people like him. And I’m not just talking about donating leftover food at the end of the day. In this particular case, this gentleman prepares food every day for those who are hungry or in need. Between 5 and 6 PM, he places the food under the restaurant's porch, where anyone in need can simply collect individual portions. There is also bread and fruit available. The world needs more people like this citizen—doing good doesn’t cost anything. Bless him! Joao Januario

Absolutely adore this place. We moved to Leicester recently and this was the first restaurant we went to, best owner, the best servers. Charmilla is so sweet, same with Mariana and the other girl with brown medium hair. Love the food, the atmosphere, everything about the place ❤️

Terrible experience, we were recommended and we got a completely opposite horrible surprise, we ordered almost all cod and it was tasteless and dry It seemed like it was pre-cooked or overcooked, but my portion for the 14 pounds it costs was a very small portion. Not fresh fish, the best part of the meal was the bread and shrimp I will never return nor do I recommend this place. By the way, some of the glasses they gave us were dirty and had dead mosquitoes inside. They don't even get dizzy when cleaning the tableware or checking to make sure the tables are clean.
