Was a Leicester weekend trip to see the national space center. Ended up looking for a breakfast place to find out that this are scarce. Found this Portuguese place (although I must say I was avoiding it as was probably looking for something more authentic). Everyone on the group of 5 was amazed with the English breakfast, omolote and panninies. I am told you will find anything you would expect from a Portuguese tavern on the back room. Will have to check next time I visit Leicester. Can't wait.

Literally anything they offer tastes amazing! Quite cheap considering the quality and quantity, e.g. the "XL mummy sandwich" for 10£ is so large that I - a hungry average sized man - could only finish half. Super friendly owner and typically quite full and social environment, incl. Football transmission. My new "second living room".

I love this place and come about once a week. All the food is fresh and home-made including the bread. Sandwiches are generously filled, soup is hearty and thick, coffee is delicious and the beer is cold. I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every meal I've had from here. Bear in mind that this is a small cafe and the locals are passionate Portuguese folks so expect a lively atmosphere! The owner and his missus are great people and the service is prompt. If you're especially hungry try the famous "Francesinha" (my favourite)

We had the halloumi sandwich for lunch, which is quite possibly the sandwich of my dreams! I think it's the only vegetarian option on the menu, but that's OK because it has everything: halloumi, relish, fried mushrooms, peppers, salad leaves etc. Reasonably priced, quick service. I'd definitely return and recommend.

Very authentic Portugese food, a real find. Really friendly service too. I'd highly recommend the Francesinha they are amazing and the best I've had outside of Porto. The pastries are great too, will defiantly visit again and would recommend.

My friend was telling me about how nice is this place,so I decided to try my self to and I after say my friend was right its absolutely right Food is superb,we had octopus and was tasty and tender also we had big pan with Gamberi in Peri Peri sauce everything was cooked fantastic The final touch was there Grappa called Bagaco superb and all homemade. Cosy place to go. Has space for reunions, family gatherings, and maybe more. With a typical portuguese gastronomy menu, they also serve vegetarian dishes, and maybe even vegan upon request. The owners are cool, flexible and bold. I recommend 👍

Genuine Portuguese food Having a breakfast called 'Oporto Galo Bowl' from time to time, and it taste so delicious! They also have delicious sandwiches in crispy Portuguese bread!

Yes went here for a taste of Portugal and ended up with a bad belly food looked ok apart from the chips that was burnt at ends under cooked food not up to standards of other places I've been in Midlands also the topic of conversation was vulgar and inappropriate the guy that served me bad higeine and the tables n floor was bits of food and sauce on very small seating area also had a express which cup was cold so by time I got it was cold and coffee was like water wouldn't be going here again bad choice on my stop in Leicester
