I guess it’s shut now: No menu outside Letters had fallen apart

Had a great time, lovely cocktails. Servers could not have been nicer, always checking in to see if they could be of help. Will be coming back again for another visit.

Booked a table at 1745 and ordered mains fairly quickly. Food wasn't served until 1828. Threatened to leave and actually had coats on and were ready to go as the food turned up. Food wasn't terrible, but "below average" and basic. Staff weren't overly helpful, though they did give us 1 of our 3 mains for free as an apology. Would have left, but had limited options, given our concert at the Hydro started at 1840. Noted several other customers walking out.

Tables dirty but the chairs are absolutely filthy and have been for a very long time. Staff moral seems low. Coffee mediocre. No saucers? Sad.

I never leave bad reviews as a rule but I’m really sorry but this was the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. We were on holiday in Brixham and had a delivery one evening. Four different curries (chicken tikka masala, king prawn korma, butter chicken and a chicken korma) and both my children couldn’t eat theirs and they LOVE curry. Their butter chicken and prawn korma had the weirdest texture and a very funky flavour. I tried both and wouldn’t have been able to eat them either. I had a chicken tikka masala and it was ok but not the greatest. All meals were very hot (not spicy hot) but the quality was not good at all.

Recientemente visité Petersham Nurseries Café y me encantó el ambiente tranquilo y la cocina encantadora. Ubicado en medio de una vegetación exuberante, el café ofrecía una escapada serena del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. Lo más destacado de mi visita fue la ensalada de tomate reliquia, que era increíblemente fresca y llena de sabor. El personal era cálido y atento, asegurándose de que estábamos bien atendidos durante toda nuestra comida. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de una comida rodeada de naturaleza. ¡No puedo esperar a regresar y quizás explorar su impresionante colección de plantas la próxima vez!

Tenía grandes expectativas para una cena romántica de San Valentín en Petersham Nurseries, pero la experiencia fue decepcionante desde el momento en que llegamos. Primero, tuvimos que pedir que alguien nos llevara nuestras chaquetas algo que debería haberse ofrecido de serie en un restaurante de este calibre. Luego, después de sentarnos, esperamos más de 30 minutos a que llegara nuestra comida, sin explicación ni disculpas. La falta de atención fue frustrante, especialmente en lo que se suponía que iba a ser una velada cuidadosamente planificada. Por si fuera poco, cuando el vino fue llevado a la mesa, el servidor no le pidió a mi socio que lo probara antes de servirlo, un descuido inexcusable para cualquier establecimiento que se tome en serio su servicio. Al final de la noche, estaba tan decepcionado que me negué a pagar el cargo por el servicio una de las pocas veces que lo he hecho. Dada la reputación y los precios de Petersham Nurseries, esta fue una experiencia inaceptable, y ciertamente no volveré para una ocasión especial de nuevo.

Cosy friendly pub, allows dogs too

Pizza had a lot of crust and not much pizza. you would need to really order 2 of them. Also had very little mozzerella so the margarita was like tomato sauce on bread. Beer garden got really cold as soon as sun left so they should have put heat lamps on as it was freezing and I had to leave as I was too cold.

No working toilets, bad rude service, terrible over priced food. Had my worst restaurant experience here.

Estábamos tomando una comida rápida antes de un concierto esta noche y desde el momento en que entramos nos recibió un guardia de seguridad muy amable. Nuestro servidor David era servicial y amable y pudimos ordenar con facilidad en el mostrador. La comida llegó rápidamente con todo el personal trabajando diligentemente. La comida era buena, pero el personal era fantástico. Solo 4 estrellas como restaurante en general un poco deteriorado pero 5 estrellas para el personal!

Visiting from Australia & catching up with friends found this place great food & atmosphere excellent service... highly recommend

The staff aren’t very nice at all. They aren’t helpful and they don’t are about kids. Avoid - there are better options around and the food isn’t that great either.
