We dropped in here after seeing what Saundersfoot had to offer. It was dog friendly and the host was warm and welcoming. It was a Wednesday so Curry Club day but other food was available. I had a Beef Madras which tasted nice, all home cooked. It was not too spicy. My Wife had the Chilli Con Carne which she enjoyed. The home made chips were lovely as well. I had an IPA from the local Brewery which went down a treat. The venue had a country pub feel but it overlooked the beach and seafront. It was a little tired and dated but felt comfortable and cosy so no complaints.

Had a voucher paid by our daughter for my wife and myself. On entering the restaurant they refused to tell us the amount the voucher was for. If you spend less than the voucher they are more than happy as no refund available. Spend more , again they are very happy. With that policy they are on a win win, most unethical. We live in the village and we certainly won’t darken their doors again.

Great service and food was fine. Very wide menu was t so keen on the flavour of the chips. Modern clean surroundings excellent parking and as I say the service was excellent

The food came out really fast, but was absolutely gorgeous. Full of taste, and just enough, not overwhelming, and I hate leaving food on a plate

Service very poor. Food poor. No soup at lunch time. Waited 20 minutes for our coffee, even longer for bacon on toast and eggs on toast. No brown bread only white. Expensive.

I used to go here on occasion while stationed at Brawdy. It was a great place to go after a session of surfing. I was saddened to hear that it recently suffered a fire.

Warm friendly entrance. Then told we were upstairs and they couldn’t do anything even though a lady had a broken leg and found stairs very difficult. Escorted to table then left for 15 minutes before asked about drinks. No drinks list unless they went downstairs again to get it. So relied on waiters memory as best they could. The food took one and a quarter hours to arrive! At no time before they cleared the plates did we see another waiter. People passed occasionally but ignored us. Nobody asked if OK . it wasn’t . There was a chipped wine glass too late to remedy that . No water on table. No second round of drinks possible. One can only say the service was dreadful. The waiter bringing the bill said they were very busy downstairs. Apparently it’s second class service upstairs. Two meals were very good but two were poor. Not reccomended!

We stopped here for lunch and sat outside looking over the harbour with a great view of the bridge. The service was very good and the staff welcoming and friendly. We soon had our lunch which were freshly made sandwiches with salad and crisps. Delicious! Glad to have eaten here and enjoy the lovely views!.

Awful lunch staff not very professional will no use again .staff chef behind carvery counter not even wearing a proper uniform, food cold .

We stayed overnight while we watched the local fireworks . We often visit for food when we are in the area so knew it would to a great standard anyway . It was amazing the room which was a Family room was very clean decorated to a high standard and the bathroom was very clean and tidy the breakfast the next morning was beautiful fresh and full of choice Staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble as always See you in April ! Excellent friendly and tentative service ***** Very warm and welcoming, even with our little dog. Very good selection of drinks and all reasonably priced and served in nice fresh chilled glasses. Superb food, quality, taste, temperature, presentation and filling. Exceptional really! Plus great taste in music at the right volume so you can listen and still hold conversations. Well done ‘Castle View’ we will keep returning. The Christmas Menu also looks very tasty and well priced…
