Fabulous place , lots of space, went with 5 friends and the food was very very good , staff were very friendly , will not hesitate to go again

Not a good meal at all, the steak was bland and tasteless, basic food, very poor quality, no salad or garnish, really disappointing. The older lady that served us was miserable, we did not feel at all welcome there, it seems like she felt we were beneath the establishment. Such a shame as it's a lovely looking place in a beautiful location. I've been there quite a few times over the years though I will not be returning. If you want to get looked down upon this is definitely the place to be.

This spot is good for a casual get together, decent food selection and welcoming atmosphere, would recommend to anyone in the area

Eight of us visited here for a mid week birthday meal. We all had a fabulous meal at a reasonable price. A big variety on the menu along with the specials board. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress, who is working while at college. We were offered extra chips and we were also given cream to go with a birthday cake we had brought ourselves. The lady in the kitchen was fab too, nothing was too much trouble and the food was superb. I will definitely be visiting again.

Staying at the hotel next door for a wedding but popped in the mackworth arms for drinks however food smelt so good decided to have a meal first. It didn’t disappoint! Pub is so very cosy and welcoming. All the staff were so accommodating when we hadn’t booked but they fitted us in. Food was clearly homemade and delicious! We will be back soon to sample more.

the food is always warm, and tastie. The owners are very welcoming and so is the waitress. we take our staff there 8 times a year for breakfast but after today we will never go back the cook because thats all he, is felt the need to be abusive to one of our stafe over his mistake because he could read his own writing. he swore at us and told us that we are basicaly not welcome back. we spend over £100 a time so from now on i will find a cafe that wants me to spend £800 a year with them.

Extremely well portioned food and great service from the staff during my stay and enjoyed the full breakfast Evening meal was well cooked and served by friendlt staff

I prefer independent coffee shops, but return here again and again as its the only place in Porthcawl with real consistency. It's always a nice atmosphere with cheerful staff, who are clearly longterm as many of the local older people are friendly with them. Nice clean environment that has been updated over last few years and drinks are always made up to a good standard. Does what it says on the tin, with a warm welcome.

We like the shopping experience - decided to have latte coffee - it was cold - I asked for it to be warmed and was told (by the manager) that it couldn't be hotter - the milk would "explode" - and he was serious! Employ a professional barista!!

Estoy totalmente en desacuerdo con la observación formulada por la señora de Cardiff. Nos son visitantes habituales de Robertsons y encontrar ellos amable y servicial a mi ciegos, discapacitados marido. Nada es demasiado, y la comida siempre es buena y a un precio razonable. Pruébalo gente! No te decepcionará. pasteles encantadores!

This is a first class award winning fish and chip shop. Fish / chicken nuggets cooked to order. Great selection of pies, fish, sausages, rissoles, curry etc. My great grandchildren love chips and chicken nuggets or pie or sausage form there together with a Slush Puppy. Give them a try!

Staff very friendly went out of the way to help , food was excellent and well presented

So when I ordered a plain burger the woman pulled a Karen face and when. I ordered a drink she added a extra on my bill and when the food came the burger had cheese I said plain my school teacher ordered a bq stack burger plant based burger and we had warm Cookie dough it was cold. WE R Never coming back here again

I threw a surprise 30th for my husband in August and Caitlin helped me every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing with communiction and nothing was too much. She suggested ideas and helped me with organising the place ready. I couldn’t thank her enough for how helpful and professional she was. Thank you so much. I would suggest Nolton Corner as a venue for anyone looking for a party! It was amazing and my husband loved it. Thank you Caitlin 🌟
