Fox and Hounds in Bridgend

Eight of us visited here for a mid week birthday meal. We all had a fabulous meal at a reasonable price. A big variety on the menu along with the specials board. Nothing was too much trouble for our waitress, who is working while at college. We were offered extra chips and we were also given cream to go with a birthday cake we had brought ourselves. The lady in the kitchen was fab too, nothing was too much trouble and the food was superb. I will definitely be visiting again.

The food was excellent w e had 3x cod 2 xpork 1 chicken supreme all were lovely chips to die for desserts delish10/10 would highly recommend

Came here for a few chilled drinks & some food with my husband. A few beers in the beer garden which is a sun haven & then food inside (only because it started raining). I had surf and turf and my husband had a mixed grill. It was the best meals we have eaten in a long time. Steak was cooked to perfection. Perfect friday. (Sunday dinners are banging too) 👌

called in for lunch today June 12th 2024 ordered drinks had to return glass twice as it was dirty as was the cutlry toilets also dirty has lasnage which had no taste only thing we enjoyed was the garlic beard

We visited for a family birthday and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and there was a wide menu choice. We all selected different meal choices and every meal was prepared as requested and served promptly. Excellent service from the start until we left. This is a lovely village pub that we hope to visit again soon.

Sandwich ask for chicken just all sauce chips half cooked dripping in fat never again will i step foot in that place, was nice a few year's ago

2 prawn cocktails to start - decent Turkey dinner - small amount of turkey. Beef dinner - excellent Veg was lovely Coffee - possibly instant

My granddaughter and I went for Sunday dinner and was not disappointed the food fantastic and service first class we were made welcome as soon as we walked in

I’ve been to this pub many times and always been fantastic food but Friday was a last minute choice as a friend was looking for a place for 14 guests he had phoned a few places booked one close to all of us but I suggested The Fox he then rang and it was all booked with the fox blackmail when we arrived the front of house was so friendly it was welcoming as always we all got there our orders were taken and fair play the chef didn’t expect 14 people extra that day but like always the food was 1st class all perfectly cooked and spot on I would recommend this pub to everyone you will not be disappointed. We just went for dinner - The Fox and Hounds is always the best option when you need a hearty one! My partner's steak was excellent quality and cooked perfectly. The cod and chips is always beautiful. This place has the best chips EVER. The staff are always friendly and prompt. Has a lovely beer garden for nice weather. I'm surprised this place doesn't get more attention - it is our favourite. You can guarantee a great meal here.

We had the most beautiful meal at the Fox today.The service was brilliant and the waitress was lovely.

Watery gravy, frozen roasties, I’m aware of how miserable the staff are from previous visits but my mam booked this… and! What a surprise! miserable staff again, guys if you don’t like working in hospitality or dealing with people then simple answer is don’t, blonde girl in blazer particularly rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there, red headed girl who showed us our seats was the exception, I believe her name was “teagan” tell the rest of the staff to be like her, once again , if you don’t like working with people then DONT, it’s not like it’s cheap food either. Oh and they got my sons order wrong twice, they were also fuming about getting more gravy, there’s a multitude of places guys you can go for Sunday lunch waaaayyyy better than this… avoid

I’ve been so many times recently, it seems a little pricey for the area (well, I had steak every time) but it was incredible. I was shocked at how amazing the steak was considering I’d usually steer away from steaks in pubs as they’re always for some reason way too overcooked but it comes out perfectly, and huge too. The chips are home cooked and seriously delicious, I can’t recommend this pub enough. Just make sure to book any day of the week as if it’s a quiet night the chef will finish early, or the opposite they’re booked out due to large booked dinner parties.

Booked for 5 people Christmas Eve afternoon meal for my wife's birthday. It was busy but we were greeted quickly and seated in the restaurant at the back. Service was so friendly and welcoming, despite them being full. When they found out it was a a birthday, she even got a gin on the house! The food was really nice and excellent value. Wife and daughter both had a mixed grill, which was huge and extremely well cooked. The steaks (1 rare and 1 medium rare) were both done to perfection. There was also a home made steak pie (full of meat), duck in a nice plum sauce and my son was delighted with his barbecue sauce chicken and bacon. Also real homemade chips!! We really enjoyed it!

Phoned to.maje sure there were all day meals being served arrives 30mins later to be told NO FOOD BEING COOKED CHEF FINISHED FOR DAY disappointing was understatement we had travelled 30mins for NOTHING even had sign out side FOOD BEING SERVED used this pub lots in past wont be visiting again what they need to realise is money in customers pockets can be spent ANYWHERE

Great service, nice venue , excellent food , superb value for money. Both had corned beef pie off lunchtime menu , real chips , all fresh and hot , couldn’t fault it .

20 of us arrived for a prebooked baby shower. After paying £15 pp we were greeted by a small tea plate with half a limp ham sandwich, half a limp beef one. I’m saying ham and beef in the loosest of terms - 99% water! Fear not thou….on another plate sat the stalest Welsh cake , a stale scone which they had already jammed up and added some sort of cream effort! Defo wasn’t clotted Cream! Massive shame as the pub looked quite inviting!

Made to feel really welcome, lovely meal, lovely owners, nothing is to much trouble. Had to eat outside due to covid rules but they’ve done it out lovely and safe. Thank you

Went for a meal. All social distancing adhered to. We all had food from the Christmas menu and the food was fantastic. Well worth a visit

Loved our meal out. The steak was cooked to perfection. Friendly and welcoming staff on a busy day. Only Criticism was that it wasn’t very social distanced, like the table next door was right close to my back.

Had a lovely meal today at the Fox in blackmill for my mother’s 60th birthday meal we was greeted by Debbie and Vikki and shown to our seats for the food myself and my Daughter both had the Beef burger which was lovely and my mother and Step father both had the vegetable soup to start with then he had the gammon egg and chips and my mother had the scampi which was also lovely , would recommend the Fox for food x

We went to the fox and Hounds for a family Christmas eve meal. The room was pleasant even though we were sat on a table that caught all the draft every time the front door was opened. We ordered our drinks and the waitress came over with the menus. We were asked within 5 minutes were we ready to order, I said no if we could have a little longer. Within 2-3 minutes she was back asking us if we were ready, I said no to which she repiled, the kitchen was closing as the chef wanted to go to the wholesalers. We ordered our meals. The soup was very sparce and lumpy. My niece ordered chicken goujons, it was a joke what appeared on her plate (wish we had taken a photo),chinese chicken balls. very little choice of desserts, no icecream for the children and the smallest trifle you have ever seen costing £4.50. If you want a relaxing special occasion don't choose this place. We left so disappointed and felt the cook should have gone to the wholesalers before the kitchen opened,as we felt we were given what they had left.

Over priced for what you get. Was unable to finish food due to fatty taste. Left unpleasant taste in mouth afterwards. Went home and had food. Waste of money! Approached owner but was unhelpful and dismissive!

We have been to the fox and hounds before. Amazing food and amazing staff. Nothing is too much trouble and Debbie is always smiling. Can't wait to call again.

Well I wouldn't be going back for Sunday lunch in a hurry asked for mash just thrown on the plate seasonal vegetables it said frozen swede frozen rock hard sprouts not cooked peas carrots were fresh one turbine between 3 adult had to ask for more peas and carrots service very poor nobody came to the table to ask if everything was ok will not be returning.

My partner and I went to this gorgeous country pub for Sunday lunch and we were definitely not disappointed. 2 course meal for £9..Food was so fresh and tasty. Home Cooked meals, lovely friendly staff, excellent house red wine. We will be definitely returning to sample the evening menu and come back for Sunday lunch.

The pepper chicken special and the lasagne were all excellent. Splendid food as Always. Beers are excellent also.

We had three main meals sat in the beer garden. The food was good value, it was home cooked and tasty. The garden needs new tables as they are of a very poor condition. We would have loved to have had Welsh real ale on draught available. Overall I was pleasantly surprised

The Fox has new owners and what a difference from my last visit.The place was very busy and we were sat in the very pretty conservatory type room overlooking the garden, which looked immaculate.We were given the menu’s and the varied specials of the day relayed to us. We ordered one gammon, one ham and parsley sauce and a liver and onions, all served with mash.The food was boiling hot and were generous portions. The gammon was huge and succulent and my husband failed to finish it. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and then decided to try the desserts.My mother ordered apple pie with ice-cream and I had the apple crumble with custard. Sadly these let the meal down as the pastry was stale and the crumble was too sweet for my taste. I was disappointed that tinned apple was used as everything on the main course was homemade and following this through to the desserts would have been better, but I am very fussy and it was personal taste!The staff were friendly and helpful and the bill came to £27.50 which included 3 soft drinks and a large mug of coffee which was a bargain.If you’ve had a bad experience in the past then please revisit now as you’ll see a massive improvement.

Sadly this pub has recently changed hands, used to be very good. Waited 45 mins for food, it was just dumped on table, unfriendly, food ok at best, went to pay, not even a sorry or thank you ! won’t be going back again.

Just visited the Fox and Hounds for lunch from recommendations given.

Staff worked hard to please, arrived in a campervan to their carpark behind. Asked to sleep over and were allowed if we were eating and drinking in the pub. 2 mains and many drinks later we met the hardworking owner who was great and very welcoming. Lovely stop over on our Welsh trip would highly recommend. Food was delicious and the real ales very good.

Nice traditional pub with log fire and comfy chairs in bar. Dogs welcome in bar area only where you can drink, eat or just relax. Food served in dining area and lounge also. Great value Sunday lunch. Very tasty and very reasonable prices £7 main or 2 course £9/3 course £11. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We visited twice in 72 hours, Dinner on Thursday, Lunch on Saturday. All meals were excellent, as was the service. My wife said her Lasagne was amongst the best she's ever had.

Visited last Saturday lunchtime and Sunday 3rd feb. Well impressed with menu available throughout the week and their competitive price list.

We were unable to eat here because we arrived at the wrong time. That said however the staff were most welcoming and the Landlady took the trouble to say hello. The pub had a real buzz to it and we will return very soon as the menu has clearly been upgraded. It’s too early to rate it but I have a suspicion this will get a high mark.

Had lunch there last Thursday, just after the new Landlords took over. The standard of service and quality of food was excellent. I think I will become a regular customer there if this standard is maintained.

Went here today for sunday lunch, not been to this establishment for 4 or 5 yrs and had forgotten how nice the pub and food is . Service very good , lovely traditional pub wirh a very good atmosphere. Fresh well cooked veg and melt in the mouth pork and beef. Price was very good and will definitely return .

Spot on ,large portion and good quality served by pleasant staff in a friendly comfortable clean environment .

Service was very good waitress very polite and our meal arrived very quick. The portion was very small. Peas cold and our bbq chicken should have been a lot warmer. Chips were good but there was only a very small portion size childs portion. We finished our meal in 10 min and left still hungry you need to up the size of portions I won't be coming back no wonder the pub is quiet need to improve lots x

Top food, good portions, speedy service, child and dog friendly. We have been many times when visiting Lewistown and it has always been superb. A little gem.

Went for Sunday lunch absolutely tasteless don’t know how they cooked the beef but definitely wasn’t roasted.Pork without stuffing and what is so hard in peeling potatoes never again .Lovely waitresses and the young lad was lovely they couldn’t do enough it a pity about the cook!!

We came for Sunday lunch last week and the service was exemplary and they couldn’t do enough for us including my 4 year old son. The waitering staff were very accommodating. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. The only bad point was that they don’t do a child’s dessert but I had a word with the male waiter and he was happy to accommodate us and give my son some ice cream with sauce which he was happy with

A charming and traditional pub set in a semi rural setting, perfect for Sunday lunch with the family. Great customer service from staff who promptly acknowledged us upon arrival and accompanied us to our table, before taking our drinks orders and providing us with food menus. Our food order arrived quickly and was to a high standard and all the family enjoyed. All staff were friendly and welcoming - keep up the good work!

Visited for Sunday Lunch and will never return. We were seated at our table without any menus given to us or a drinks order being taken - after 10 minutes of waiting staff walking past us I asked whether you order at the bar to which a young waitress replied "no, he'll be there now". After our drinks order was taken 15 minutes after we had arrived a young male waiter asked us what we would like to order - baring in mind we had received no menus or explanation of what food was available. Assuming that they did not do starters we asked what meats were available and what they were served with to which we received cold and abrupt replies. 20 minutes later food arrived which was good. We asked the waiter for mint sauce to which he replied 'we've run out' - at 1pm!! and walked away without bringing us any gravy. We then had to ask another waitress for gravy, she was apologetic about the male waiter and brought us gravy. We were not approached to ask how our meals were neither were our meals cleared - I had to go to the bar to ask for our bill. The table next to us served by the female waitress were given menus and therefore able to order starters - which we then realised we could have too. Service was absolutely appalling with waiting staff clearly lacking training - lets down good food.

Family arrived from all over the world They forgot we were coming. Nothing provided that was promised. Never again.

We booked here for mother's day this year, had never been before but had heard good things. upon arrival it was quite busy so we were asked to wait, we ordered our drinks and our table was ready within 10/15 minutes. We all ordered dinners, we expected a wait because it was quite busy, we waited around an hour-hour and 15 minutes.

Called in here yesterday with my husband -11 December - for a cheese sandwich and chips. The waiter is a lovely young man and the food is of the finest quality. The food portions are generous and the chips are homemade. We've been here a few times now and I can say its become my favourite pub. The service,food and actual pub are of a high standard. We love it there.Will try something else next time as we always order the cheese baguette with chips.

We visited on a Saturday night, and were the only customers in the restaurant on a Saturday night, this perhaps duo to the Boxing event in Cardiff and an 18th Birthday bash upstairs. We had our food order taken before we even went in, and had been served and finished by 30 mins after booked time. Everyone's meal was top, my steak, and the chicken/bacon combo , the pork steaks and the corned beef pie. All served with (a rarity) genuine home made chips. All very excellent, and generous portions.

After being told that they served Real Ale, we set off on a 6.5mile return walk. We aimed to arrive at lunchtime, have a few Ales and a light lunch and the walk back.

Booked in here for Mother's Day with my family. Food was delicious but they had way overbooked and couldn't cope. Waited 40 minutes for starters, 45 minutes for main and 25 minutes for desert. Took two and half hours for three courses

Good food served quickly. The only downside is like a lot of places, they allow smokers to congregate in the doorway rather than using the smoking area. It means that everyone has to walk in or out of the premises through fog of smoke.

We were wise to book, as they could have filled the place three times over. Superb Sunday lunches , melt in the mouth beef, lots of fresh piping hot vegetables. Main courses only £6. Amazing value.

Absolutely bloody awful visited yesterday after booking telephone order explained my brother in law has mental health issues and bit gets agitated was told it's fine waited 2 hrs for starters to which one came so late it came with mains then it came in bits to which none of us ate together couldn't order sweets because it took so long kitchen was closed so so disappointed birthdays only come once a year and mine was totally spoilt

Visited with my mother tonight and had such a lovely night. The main meal was delicious but the dessert was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

We met with friends in there. We are regulars but this visit unsurpassed any previous visits. Great staff,great food and great location.

Mi amigo y yo fuimos para el almuerzo hoy aquí. Estaba vacía pero decidimos darle una oportunidad. La mejor decisión del día. El menú era un cambio de la norma, que tenía pollo foxy y mi amigo tenía carne foxy. era tan sabrosa y casera con verduras frescas y patatas cortadas a mano. Este lugar debe estar lleno hasta los topes, que sirve comidas como estos. Será en la cima de nuestra lista de sitios para comer de ahora en adelante. Bien por ellos.

Omg what a find! Called in as looking for somewhere to eat and I'm glad we didSunday lunch was amazing, chose of boiled or mash, mash was amazing, portion size fantastic, the veg actually tasted how there were supposed too and real gravy, don't normally eat Yorkshire pud with pork but it was delicious and home made. WILL DEFO CALL IN AGAIN also good choice of alcohol beverages

Esta es la primera vez que visité El Fox and Hounds. Tuve paté para empezar, muy sabroso y bien presentado. Para los principales, tenía una parrillada. Wow chips real, bowl en el lateral. Aros de cebolla. Tomate a la parrilla. 2 salchichas. Bistec. Sobresaliente. Pork Chop. Huevo frito. Champiñones. Bien vale la pena el precio. Me revienta que no tienen espacio para el postre. Incluso tuvimos que tomar un perrito inicio bolsa. Bien vale la pena el precio. No puedo esperar a volver. Gran aprobado.

Nos encanta la Fox y pensamos ir para comer el domingo. Llegamos a las 12.30 con la mía y madre de mi marido. Nos sentamos a la mesa, pocas personas estaban allí. Personal hablar entre sí en el bar. Esperamos bastante tiempo cuando me dijo vamos al bar como nadie tiene incluso reconoció que hay aquí. Me dijeron: "Tenemos un grupo grande llega, así que no puedo servirle hasta después de que han sido "!... Esta no es la primera vez que esto ha sucedido. Sin duda, el servicio ha bajado! Nos fuimos y nos los brazos Llangeinor donde nos acomodaron inmediatamente. Nunca volveré a la Fox de nuevo. Es una pena, ya que solía ser mi favorito pub para ir. (Para el zorro, si lees esto te aconsejo que mejorar su servicio al cliente como se pierde un montón de gente).

Siete de nosotros (4 adultos, 3 niños) llamó Fox & Hounds el viernes pasado en la oportunidad de tener comida, a pesar de muchas mesas reservados estaban contentos para alimentar a nosotros. Quedamos muy satisfechos con la comida, la carne era muy sabroso y cocinado a la perfección con un plato enorme de patatas fritas caseras, aros de cebolla y champiñones. Las porciones de los niños eran enormes y la lasaña casera. Estábamos tan lleno, así que no tienen espacio para los postres, lo cual fue una pena, ya que parecía delicioso. El precio de la comida era muy razonable, especialmente comparado con un restaurante en la comida es que Llangeinor ni de lejos tan buena y el doble de precio. Fue una agradable velada y jugar los niños en el jardín de un pub. Sin duda volveremos!!!!

Visited on a sat early evening. Menu is very good lots of choice. There was 10 of us as an early mothers day meal. All really enjoyed. I would recommend the foxy chicken. Will recommended and return.

My family and I had a fantastic meal here for my 18th birthday. The food was amazing (would highly recommend the 'hot and spicy chicken strips' to start and the homemade chips), there was a lovely atmosphere and fantastic service! Will definitely be returning soon.

Actualmente en el Fox and Hounds. Servicio pésimo. Comida comestible, pero sin sabor. Casi 2 horas de comida de los domingos. habitación estaba mugrienta de Toliets. Paredes llenas de cerveza y secador. El secador de mano llena de polvo. encimera lleno de manchas de cerveza. Perros en zona de comedor. Lo único bueno es el fuego abierto. Pero para el tamaño de la habitación sólo hay un trabajo cuando hay dos. He estado muchas veces como familia, pero no creo que ya se visita. Necesita una renovación y nuevo personal de servicio como la espera es inaceptable cuando el restaurante está vacío.

Este es un gran edificio antiguo que ha sido reformado en los últimos años a moderno. Está en su mejor momento cuando los incendios están equipada. Los incendios realzan el ambiente cálido y el ambiente.

Optamos por la cena dos pollo de campo. El primer plato era muy soso gambas (camarones) cóctel que era totalmente insípido, con muy pocas gambas (camarones). Nuestro plato principal también fue decepcionante porque aunque el pollo y verduras era muy agradable, no había ningún relleno, que en mi opinión era es imperdonable.

Tan pronto como entras en el pub te das cuenta de lo inusual la distribución es. Un tema fuertemente de madera tallada, la singular balcón, chimenea mismo ejercicio económico ocasionaría problemas técnicos de Rincón y suelo de losetas genuina. Un aspecto real atmosférica en efecto. fantasmas seguramente debe residir aquí como el bar parece lleno de historia.

Dos de nosotros comimos aquí y era insuficiente. Los platos en el menú parecía haber sido copiado de otro pub local donde hemos comido anteriormente. Sin embargo, las comidas que tuvimos en el Fox and Hounds no era tan bueno, como el otro pub. Nos decepcionó la sensación y no volveré.

my husband & myself visted the fox & hounds during the lunchtime,we was very pleasantly suprised as the place is very homely & spacious inside,I had lasange& chips my husband had the aberdeen angus cheese burger with chips,onion rings& garlic bread,I have to say that this was 1 of the best meals in a pub I have had in a long time & I would highly recommend to anyone.They also do home made chips which not many restaurants do these days. There was an offer on 2 meals for £10.

Encontramos con amigos para comida rápida de la noche, nuestra primera vez ya que los propietarios actuales.

La familia disfrutó muchísimo nuestra comida reciente aquí. las porciones son enormes, porciones de incluso los niños son enormes. La comida es estupenda relación calidad-precio y nos gustó mucho el ambiente, el personal, encantador y una buena mezcla de bebedores y diners, nos dimos cuenta que mientras que ha sido tomada por Kevin y Carolyn que solía correr el Llangeinor brazos. El Fox ahora tiene un gran ambiente, un concurso en un domingo y música en vivo los sábados por la noche. Fue bonito ver este pequeño pub del pueblo muy ocupados. Recomendamos encarecidamente el domingo almuerzo (aunque reservar con antelación). Sin duda volveremos aquí y esperamos hacer uso del jardín de la cerveza con nuestra familia cuando el tiempo mejora. Es un lugar estupendo para caminantes y ciclistas que utilizar los senderos de Blackmill.

Love dining here for sunday lunch..we used to dine with carolyn and kevin when they run the Llangeinor arms..My husband and i have always had a very warm welcome from them both and their staff..So when they left the Llangeinor arm, we were more than happy to follow them to the fox and hounds..The chef's moved along with them,so we were very happy about this as ny husband will not have sunday lunch anywhere else..We have also tried many things to eat off their menu,and always had a very good faultless meal..we find its also good value for meal..

Fui con mi mujer, mi hija y su primo, y todos estamos de acuerdo en la comida era abundante y deliciosa. Teníamos niños pollo cena y chocolate fudge cake (enormes) , un cóctel de gambas y 3 cenas de carne asada, con 2 copas de vino por £28 tan extremadamente razonable y vale mucho más.

Encontramos este pub un poco por casualidad pero no me decepcionó. La comida era deliciosa y abundante - tuve el curry de pollo con arroz y patatas fritas por medio de medio y en 6.50 libras esto fue muy razonable. Mi otra mitad había lasaña y era más que contentos. El personal es amable. Mi única pega fue la falta de refrescos, tales como agua, Apple o zumo de pomelo brillante.

Si estás por cualquiera de los comentarios anteriores bien, entonces no te. El pub tiene un nuevo propietario y no me puedo quejar por un segundo.

Me voy a salir un Trip Advisor extremidades y sugerir tampoco es excelente ni terrible. Es un pub que sirve comida de valles, y si vas con esa expectativas lo disfrutarás. El personal del bar de jóvenes son amables y serviciales. habitación está expuesta piedra, (Clad) vigas bajas, y puertas en forma de arco. Los baños son un poco "'s pub Valley". Fuimos 4 adultos y dos niños temprano un viernes por la noche y había una agradable bullicio en el lugar.

Visitamos aquí el sábado 15 2014 Marzo para el cumpleaños de mi suegra. Estuvimos un grupo de 12 personas y había reservado la mesa con antelación. nuestro camarero nos atendió pedidos y esperamos casi 50 minutos para recibir nuestras comidas que eran absolutamente repugnante - 3 bistec de solomillo ( £12.95 ) se pidió raro, medio raro y medio, pero eran todos cremado - bistec era también muy finas y no buena calidad en todo. Un plato ( £9.95 ) de curry se le pidió que se sirve con patatas fritas también se sirve con guisantes, nunca he visto antes. Una comida nuggets de pollo del niño era incolora y sin sabor. Mixed Grill ( £16,95 ) era recocido y horrible y salchichas (2), puré de patatas y salsa razonable de £9,99 - qué completa broma.

Went for my birthday family dinner, what a lovely meal meal, food was cooked lovely and was really hot. The staff was really friendly and are planning a return visit.

La ubicación es genial, ya que el pub está al lado de la ruta de bicicleta y está en un cruce de carretera para Ogmore by Vale y Gilfach Goch. Called into Fox and Hounds to have a sandwich during the August Bank Holiday weekend.Despite only living in Ogmore Vale,it is our first visit here since the refurbishment and the change of hands.We weren't disappointed.We visited on Saturday around lunchtime to be met by two very polite young bar staff.A pleasant young lady took our food order while a friendly young man waited to take our drinks order.We ordered a cheese sandwich and couldn't believe our eyes when it arrived.It wasn't just a cheese sandwich,it was a french stick filled with plenty of cheese,a large portion of chip and a large side salad all for less than a fiver!!.Excellent value for money.The meal was just perfect.The chips were delicious,the salad nice and crisp and the french stick very fresh.We really enjoyed it although we couldn't eat it all.The pub itself has been done out to a very high standard and you can see there has been a lot of attention to detail.It's truly beautiful and I can see ourselves visiting here again ans again.When we visited there were families there so it had a nice family atmosphere.We plan on visiting when one of the live Bands are playing.If we drink a little too much,we've not got far to walk up the track home.Thanks for a lovely afternoon,we'll be coming back.

I am a lady on oxygen I was asked to move even though I had to struggle to move the owner was rude and had no customer service skills my sirloin was tuff and cold but this owner doesn't deserve a pub like this

ive never had service so bad, and the owner is so disrespectful and childish, its a wonder he has any customers at all, the service was very poor, my 6 year old daughter had chicken nuggets to find they were frozen inside we called one of the waitresses over n showed her she took them away and we didnt recieve any more so she just had mash and beans, my partner had his meat and the veg followed 10 mins later but still no potatoes or gravy so he just ate what he had without any gravy, it was a childrens birthday so was lovely of the owner to put the bouncy castle up outside for the kids, one of the other guests had lasagne which was also frozen in the middle and her partner sat there for 40 mins with just meat and no veg, 2 hours had passed when we had 1st given our orders we had all eaten our food then they came out with his veg, he told them he didnt want it as was too late but still had to pay full price for thier meals, the owner was rude and then went and let down the bouncy castle spoiling all the childrens fun, after eating and drinking there from 1 til 5 o clock n taking alot of money from a group of nearly 30 people u expect to be treated well, well not at this place, my advice dont go there, the junction pub next door is a lovely place and r welcoming and friendly also do a lovely lunch and the service is great, i b sticking to there from now on, rant over

Cold food disgusting owner the most horrible man I have ever met his I was sent out a chicken which was raw Christine the manageress was no help at all I will never go back in my entire life the only good thing about it was I went up ogmore junction and they made me feel welcome

Mi amigo y yo visitamos el Fox and Hounds al menos tres veces al mes. Sus torta de carne y papas es deliciosa. Después de la cena recientemente el sol hizo una apariencia, así que pudimos tomar un corto paseo junto al arroyo que pasa al lado de la parte trasera del pub. El personal es amable y acogedor, y los precios son muy razonables.

Este es un agradable pub con un ambiente relajado. personal y otros clientes eran acogedores. Fuimos para el almuerzo de domingo. 4 adultos, 9 años y dos niños pequeños. Todo el mundo estaba encantado. Un montón de espacio. áreas separadas para los comensales y bebedores, así que las familias pueden relajarse y bebedores pueden disfrutar de un entorno adecuado de pub. El pub es luminoso y espacioso manteniendo carácter. La comida era simple, pero muy buena calidad y bien presentado con porciones generosas. Me sorprende que era tan tranquilo Este pub necesita un sitio web. debería estar lleno de gente ya que es conseguir cosas justo!

el Fox and Hounds en Blackmill ha sido completamente renovado y está bajo nueva gerencia. Hay muchos sitios para sentarse y la comida es fantástica, buen servicio y una gran relación calidad-precio. Fui como un grupo de ocho y nada era demasiado problema. la comida de pub y no había oído una palabra de alguien que se ha comido allí . no lo dudes, no te decepcionará.
