Barrister was confused about how to use the £5 e-gift card on my phone when I tried to use it today. I had to explain 3 times how it was supposed to work. Finally, he typed in the e-gift card number showing on my phone screen and it took the payment.

Nice and cool, a relief on a hot day. Service was quick, and staff polite. Unfortunately, the hand dryer in one of the toilets was not working, tried drying my hands with toilet paper but it disintegrated.

Toasties and hot drinks were cold. waited just shy of 2 hours.

This Costa in Caroline street is in need of a lot of TLC. Very rundown, Chairs ripped and dirty and not many chairs at all tbh. Arrived at 2.30pm ordered food and coffees only to be told that where we were sitting in top part was closing for cleaning at 3pm!!! Not enough seats in bottom part! So sat outside to be only told that was closing too at 3.30pm as the staff need this time to clean down! 2.5hrs before store advertised as closing. The Staff are not very friendly and made us feel unwanted and awkward when asking why they closing so early half of the shop. So left and went to corvo longe around the corner where the coffee tbh was much nicer and served by staff who seemed to enjoy their job.

I visited costa coffee at Caroline St Bridgend today, what I experienced was not good, there were tables which had not been cleared, other tables had drink tipped on them and the whole shop was dirty and uncared for. I quickly decided to turn around and leave the shop which in my opinion was a Health & Safety problem. Needless to say I will not be returning to this shop again unless they up their game 100 percent. Costa get you act together.

My food was *not* delivered. After 2 hours of the 'courier being at the restaurant ready to pick up my order' I had to get hold of Just Eat myself as there was no option to ring the restaurant or cancel the order. This order was a complete cluster on the restaurant's side. Props to JustEat for quickly sorting my refund, though.

The staff here are very welcoming, and knew my order, when I arrived, as I was a regular.

Order missing items. Bubble frappes both full of huge ice chunks and no boba. No straws supplied either. Not the first time I have had a similar experience and will not bother wasting my money in this particular Costa again.

I ordered 3 items; a frappe, a sandwich and a lemon tart - Frappe arrived with no straw, lemon tart arrived covered in the frappe and the sandwich not provided with my order.

i came in to Costa with my husband before getting the train home. we ordered two coffee's and they were not what we ordered. they tasted like old coffee and mine was cold.

Gone down hill, not very friendly as it once was, only mo is friendly, which isn't guaranteed he's there every visit, staff need to learn to be polite as they rude and arrogant. The previous staff were much nicer and friendly!! Whole shop needs updating

I have never had a bad experience in any Costa that I've visited until I went in to this one. I visited a month or so ago and it was quite busy. I had vouchers to use but the server got my order wrong, I asked again for the correct order and she blanked me and continued to serve the person next to me. I waited and asked again for the cake I originally asked for, she got it, put it in a bag and slammed it down on the counter; didn't say sorry or make eye contact. So, today I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt - it definitely wasn't as busy but again, no smile, acknowledgement or 'thank you' from the one taking my order; she appeared more interested in another customer (male) that she went over to immediately after. The person making my coffee didn't even turn around and when she did, in order to put my drink on the tray, it was like I wasn't even there. I have never had treatment like this anywhere, let alone a Costa. Some serious customer service training is needed with the staff in here or if they're that unhappy then maybe they should look for a different job. I'm very disappointed and disgusted by they're lack of the basics (smiling, acknowledgement etc) and won't return as I've given them two chances and both times have been just as bad - the two stars are generous in my opinion!

Where is my order? The guy rang me from about ten minutes away but couldn't be bothered to walk for ten minutes. I want him fired cause he does this all the time.

Went today, shocking service both the server and the guy making the coffee ☕ were completely disinterested in their job. I can honestly say it was the worst cappacino I have ever had. I certainly won't be revisiting.

The toastie is stone cold and I won’t be eating it, it’s rock hard and the drink is also cold. Very unhappy

The two toasties were hard / burnt. The coffee and hot chocolate were cold. And I ordered well over an hour ago.

Worst costa I have ever got coffee from! Walked in a two staff members sat down in the corner saw us come and their faces turned to be like uh why have you come in i gotta do some work now! No welcome, no hello, no what can I get for you, No rush, no get up and go, no real customer service! They didn't have a certain syrup so told us to go sit down and when our drinks were ready they shouted across the shop floor DRINKS! with real attitude! The feeling was that they both didn't want to be in work and no real customer! Very rude and very disappointed as never had service like this before on any costa!!

Erin was just the best . She was welcoming and engaged with us while she carried on with her work. Fabulous server, thanks for making our coffee break that little bit better 🙏

Toasties where rock solid and not in a good way felt like we were eating 2 slabs of concrete they were that overdone. Not convinced marshmallows were added to either or the topping for the after eight, but this could be a case of order was made up and left lying about long enough for these to dissolve completely without a trace.

it’s nice but is it worth it when they can’t even put the lid on hot drinks properly, if it was a 1 time thing I wouldn’t comment but it’s every single time

Something's gone wrong at the ownership level as they've turned over their entire staff roster, and the team they've lost were fantastic. The new staff are getting up to speed, some of them seem pretty good. Refurbishment is sorely needed but in meantime, they need to occasionally wash the fabric upholstery on the chairs, get rid of the table stickers and clean thoroughly underneath the tables (stands) and chairs. Toilet maintenance is erratic at best. It would help if Brits didn't create messes or have disgusting habits like putting their shoes on the chairs... and generally just behaved more like the Japanese do.

Driver was fantastic- drink wasn't wet and spilled as it usually comes 7/10 times. Delivered straight away without stopping for an additional 15 mins for a mystery reason, making my order cold. Coffee arrived hot! Very happy.

Some of the staff could be a bit friendlier and not sound annoyed when you ask them to clear dirty tables. Others were so friendly and polite ! Food is decent. Drinks are good. Atmosphere is a typical coffee shop.

The store need a complete make over. The staff are very good. And helpful.

Expensive and not very hot. I try to avoid Costa and the other big brands and use a local cafe instead much better value, but this visit was with a friend and he insisted we go to Costa. Never again.

So I ordered 3 drinks from Costa on Just Eat. 2 arrive. Just eat has been a nightmare in Bridgend lately so I just figured yet another driver screw up, I put in for the refund and headed to the store. Get in and order the drink that was missing and when asked if there was anything else I just said "no thanks the rest of my order is at home, just grabbing the one that was missed off our just eat order so I can chill". I assume the other lady next to the server was a manager as she clarified what I meant and what happened, was super apologetic and refused to let me pay for the drink?! I said repeatedly I was getting a refund from just eat and needed to pay for it and I figured they were the ones that screwed up so it's fine but she really insisted and couldn't do enough. I was really taken aback but I can't fault them at all, good as gold and fast as well. Absolutely amazing service. Staff are always lovely here which is why its the only Costa I still use but really above and beyond expectations today.

It was busy, they are flat out , but Will and Lewis had such a great positive attitude to everything they where doing, they are a credit to Costa specially at the end if the day . The two person team have performed better than 3-4 people in other costas we've visited. And they did it with a smile . Well done you two

The staff are so enthusiastic about helping, and happy to see you. They checked the suitability of the new Christmas syrups and made my day when they said they were all suitable for dairy free so the excitement to be able to ordered the chocolate orange made me super happy

1 drink came fine no problem the other one looked as though it had been sat in the heat for a while melted and been drank from as already had the straw in the drink cream already disappeared and as if it wasn't blended with ice at all and seemed to be an old drink that may have been made wrong but sent anyway! How can you get 1 right and 1 so wrong!

To be honest I love Costa's but I don't know what happened today, I was going to phone the Coffee house directly but then the delivery time changed so I was happy, But the roll were cold and looked like they'd been reheated and the Coffee is lukewarm might be the cup, but I live less than 2 minutes from Costas?? and every time I've ordered before I had to leave the Coffee to cool down and the rolls didn't look like they'd been reheated in a sandwich press! The only thing that was right was the delivery time which is why would they sell these items cold? and how does the late portion work ?? When it's due? Changed once, or the total delivery time?

Costa goes up and above for there customers would definitely recommend

Ordered 2 lattes, they arrived.....they were cold. Also I ordered one with whole milk, one with skinned milk. Couldn't tell which one was which as no labels.

Delivery driver was great. Drinks were watery and not the quality I'd expect for £4 a cup. Won't order again for there.

Wasted half my cup of hot chocolate half of it was in the bag not happy 😡😡

Driver was good and proficient. My order was almost correct bar I ordered 2x Sparkling Water and recieved Still. So a mild complaint.
