We were greeted with a smile by the Maitre d’ who also correctly guessed the name of our party. All the staff were friendly, attentive & professional, & the ambiance was welcoming & relaxed. Most importantly we all enjoyed our Sunday lunches & left, satisfied & happy.

Woodworks Café Lovely venue. Very engaging friendly staff! Our experience was very pleasant. The only criticism is that the cafe reception area is very cramped. There were a couple of card stands which would be better placed somewhere else especially when there were two queues of customers - one waiting to be seated and the other queuing on the way out to pay. It was a little chaotic to say the least!

We were looking for a place to eat on a Monday night in October when it seems most pubs don’t open at all, when we came across The Ring. On a damp night, it was a pleasure to be greeted by a roaring log burner and a warm welcome for everyone, including the dog. It looks like it has recently been refurbished and was bright and clean. Beer was good - Purple Moose - and the food was well cooked pub grub. We had the gammon and the Welsh lamb burger. Would definitely go again.

We wandered in with friends on a Thursday evening and the food exceeded our expectations. Two of us ordered the sea bass and it was delicious — not overcooked and the accompanying vegetables complimented it. The risotto and lasagna were also excellent. Good value for the price. Wine selection was good and the homemade desserts were superb.

Sadly, Mrs Roberts the owner died, such a sad loss and the loss of the most delightful tea room. This was a wonderful tea room and so old,-fashioned, we will greatly miss it, now for sale in July, we hope it will be treated kindly by it's new owners.

Cosy cafe. Not many tables and can get quite busy. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice bit of music in the background. Breakfast was nice but would have been good to have the option of a poached egg. Only option was fried. Enjoyed my milkshake and my partner enjoyed his coffee. Fair value for money given the tourist area. No parking directly outside but carparks closeby and road parking a way up the road.

What a find! This fabulous find is just off the High Street. The food was delicious and all sourced locally. Two of us had the mozzarella and roasted veg jacket potato and the other had the goats cheese and roasted veg panini. The roasted veg was exquisite especially the mushrooms.Ran by a mother and daughter duo, whose sense of humour was refreshing and nothing was too much trouble. Even when one of our party asked for a glass of white wine, the owner popped to the shop to buy a very nice bottle of white. We were made to feel very welcome and would love to return to sample the afternoon tea.Thank you for a lovely experience and afternoon!

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth

This place is a bit strange. Bit too ‘new age’ for us. Clothing on sale quite ‘samey’ perhaps South American. Musty smelling old chapel building. Glad it’s in use. Loved the wooden tables in the cafe though, whole tree slices. Didn’t hang around for food/drink.
