This place is a bit strange. Bit too ‘new age’ for us. Clothing on sale quite ‘samey’ perhaps South American. Musty smelling old chapel building. Glad it’s in use. Loved the wooden tables in the cafe though, whole tree slices. Didn’t hang around for food/drink.

This coffee shop stands out to me from a mile away. It’s delightfully quirky and full of brilliant and beautiful artworks and various other items, while also functioning as a cafe. The cafe itself had a pretty extensive menu, it was more varied than I expected, although we only bought a hot chocolate. It was tasty, and the barista was friendly and conversational. I’d certainly return, it was a lovely break from a traditional cafe and felt strangely peaceful.

Love coming in to shop or grab a drink and a snack. Sadly not serving food at the moment due to the current situation but takeaway drinks are available and there’s some beautiful items in the shop. We’ve eaten here before though and the food is very good indeed. Coffee is great. I always end up buying something here. If not a Baja or tie dye t-shirt then incense or other things. Well worth a look in this place which has calming atmosphere. Staff are great too.

I visited Barmouth with my wife with the specific aim of visiting Ebeneezer’s to buy a Baja. I chose one and took it to pay for. The price was on the wall at the end of the rail. Ponchos were also on sail at a higher price. When I went to pay for my baja I was asked to pay the price of the ponch. I explained that the baja was a lower price and was told they had been wrongly marked. I chose not to purchase the baja as I was disappointed at the pricing policy. I was also disappointed because prior to this visit I had purchased another baja and was very pleased with it and rated Ebeneezer’s and had intended to buy another Baja next month. Consequently I will have to find another supplier as I do like the baja.

Understanding most around Barmouth is closed this time of day (and year), of the few open I chose to give Ebenezeer's a go. My go to standard Americano, I was asked if I wanted light, medium or strong flavour. With medium always chosen, I was satisfied with the cup of joe. Decent well rounded flavour (along with a slice of a moist lemon drizzle cake). Lovely young chap behind the counter, with a friendly smile. Eclectic shop of Asian inspired clothing and home and outdoor articles. Pleasant afternoon stop.

How can you visit Barmouth and not visit Ebeneezers? How could go to North Wales and not go to Ebeneezers? From the outside it looks like an old chapel having a weird sale. Well, it is, actually! When you walk through the door, you are immediately transported to a totally different world. Different music, aromas atmosphere! I have this conundrum, is it a coffee house selling Oriental, Asian and African arts, crafts, clothing and more, or an emporium selling tea, snacks and coffee? Either way, it is a 'must see' to put on your list. Having said that, I would be the first to admit that these sort of places aren't every-ones taste, but t is worth the visit. I have visited Barmouth four times since 2013, and each time spent a lot of time in Ebeneezers. Sadly my wife passed away in 2016 but each time I've visited Barmouth since then, it's always meant a visit to Ebeneezers, if only for the memories. It is always so nice to go back there. The food is always fresh, clean and properly presented. The staff are always pleasant, helpful, kind and considerate. There is the tricky question of prices, as all of their merchandise is from out of this country, and the value of the pound fluctuating, it is impossible to compare prices with anywhere else. But, having visited similar shops, elsewhere, they are about on par.

On Tuesday afternoon, Hubby and I were walking down Barmouth main High Street when we noticed this converted chapel. We went inside. There were no other customers and we couldn't see any member of staff (although there was CCTV in operation). We were surprised to see an organised display of ethnic arts and crafts. Hubby was particularly interested in the wooden/stone Buddhas. We went upstairs and walked around the balcony. I liked the colourful cushions and Hubby liked the quirky flying kites. There was soothing music being played in the background and a lingering aroma of incense.

Visited this place five years ago and my wife had one of their curries and said how tasty it was. Thought it would be rude not to try one of these out for myself since I'm the area and for my wife to take a trip down memory lane for the taste buds. The place was busy and table space limited (always a good sign). Grabbed a table and after a little bit shuffles sat happy. The place itself is amuse-bouche for the eyes as lots of little and sometimes large items from around the world for sale.I put an order for two curries and was told that there was a delay on food as really busy. Friendly professional staffing and nice smiles all round.Food served after about twenty five minutes and both of our curries didn't disappoint as freshly made and had an authentic taste about them.Price was reasonable and the town is seasonal so need to take that into consideration.Overall ten out of ten best curry ever thank you.

We have visited this place before and found the setting quirky but beautiful . Lots of lovely, interesting goods for sale too. As it was lunchtime, we thought it would be good to have a bite to eat here as the menu looked very tasty. My husband fancied the cassoulet and I had decided on a lamb mint panini. We waited patiently at the counter whilst a lady bought some items and they were wrapped by the young man behind the counter. When it was our turn, my husband started to place our lunch order, only to be told that they were not serving for another half an hour, despite it being lunchtime and only a couple of tables occupied and I could see another man at the rear of the premises preparing some food. Very disappointed, as I would imagine the cassoulet was already prepared and a panini takes minutes to make.

We stopped off here for a drink on a hot, sunny day, choosing this one for its unusual premises (a church) and the fact that it was off the main drag and a bit quieter. We opted to sit outside and watch the people go by, but inside there was also seating as well as some Arts & Crafts-y stalls selling stuff.I had a Magners and my wife decided to try the soup which bore some hints of being home-made, although you can never be sure. Let's head in, what a great way to use a converted chapel.Hot soup and baguettes were just what was required on a cold wet march day in Wales.Interesting shops all the way round. Not the biggest menu but something for all.Good food and good value

We stopped here for breakfast twice, having been disappointed by the service at another establishment. The breakfast rolls are tasty, especially the sausages, and both the tea and coffee were good. Fair prices and very friendly service. Outdoor seating where you can eat your food whilst enjoying the beautiful views of Llanberis and its surroundings. Also does delicious cakes, milkshakes and hot chocolate. Highly recommended.

I'm actually gutted to be writing this review as we thought we had found a good haunt when we first tried last week. 2 adults & 2 children all had a lovely lunch time meal the previous week so we rebooked for the 2 adults for an evening meal the following weekend. The starter was lovely for both of us but we both ordered fillet steak for our main and I don't know what meat it was but it certainly wasn't a beef steak. It didn't look like one, taste like one or even cut like one. I was genuinely gutted as it has put me off going back again because I feel like it's just rude to expect somebody not to notice and left feeling like we've been totally ripped off. You don't order a fillet steak if you don't know exactly what to expect on your plate so the audacity to think you can pull that off is unbelievable. I can't complain about the service, both times it has been spot on, lovely women but unfortunately we won't be returning after been served that.

On a recent visit to Barmouth we found this little Gem of a place that is open on Sundays. There was a special board out side and it was the Cheese and Onion pie that drew us in . Both my husband and me had this and it came with new potatoes and salad . It was delicious and very reasonably priced . We were naughty and were too tempted by the delicious homemade sweets and puds they had to offer . I had the jam and coconut cake and my husband opted for the apple pie. They were presented lovely with fruit and a pot of cream on the side. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Barmouth

Lovely little dog friendly cafe in the heart of the village. Warm welcome by the host and his friendly staff. Typical Welsh weather and unfortunately the biffolding doors were closed in July however will visit again when the sun is out Diolch
