We stayed at a hotel just around the corner but didnt feel like going down to breakfast. We found Roberts Bakery, and that was the answer. For breakfast rolls, croissants, and cakes, this is the only place you need to go. The food is amazing, and the staff are charming and helpful. And the prices are pretty good too. Dont miss this amazing place if you come to Anglesey.

We had a lovely late lunch at this fabulous cafe. We came for a day trip out to find that other places were not dog friendly. Thankfully they weren’t as we would not have found this hidden gem. The loveliest helpful staff, lovely food and speciality coffees and the best homemade mushroom soup 😀 We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended

We go to the Cross Keys regularly for drinks. Having read the reviews and hearing positive reports from friends my wife and I went for a midweek meal. Food quality and service was excellent. The pub has a lovely atmosphere. It’s a village pub that serves great meals and has friendly staff - you’ll always find Dawn and Gareth behind the bar giving you a warm welcome. A really enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

Came here after reading the reviews. My amazing breakfast of waffles, fresh fruit, yoghurt, seeds and nuts was the perfect start to a day which was going to be spent on the beach. They also made us a home cooked ham bap and two thick slices of bara brith to take away with us for lunch. Great coffee too and nice people. Do visit!

3 of us Stopped here for lunch on a day trip to Llangollen. The sandwiches were fantastic. Particularly the BLT. Everything we had was was all very well made. Service was quick and staff were very polite. There’s a lot of places to choose to eat in Llangollen, but next time I visit I’ll be heading straight back here.

Recently went to this lovely pub for Mothers Day as a table of 5, the starters and dinners were all INCREDIBLE 🤤 5 star taste and presentation. We have eaten out at many local pubs in Mold, Holywell, & other Flintshire areas and this place is always where we hands down always one of the most delicious meals. The creamy mushroom starter is my personal favourite starter, but over the past year my partner and I have eaten here a handful of times and tried a few different meals, each and everyone delicious. Its a cute little village pub, that feels like you are getting high end food in a traditional place, I also love the they are dog friendly as we often walk our dog around the beautiful surrounding countryside and head here for a drink and some food. The new owners that have been there for the past year or so are always so welcoming and make you feel at home in their pub. Always a delight to visit. Definitely a must try in the Mold area.

A lovely stop off at this cafe/bistro. We had called for the chowder which had all gone as it was late afternoon. We choose the salmon gravalex instead which was delicious - washed down with a glass of Chardonnay and latte. Highly recommended. Really friendly staff and lovely and cozy with great view.

We often visit Ruthin when we are on holiday in North Wales and we have had a wonderful meal here before. Today my wife and I shared a delicious cheese and pickle sandwich with a fantastic salad and then shared a toasted tea cake. The coffees were an excellent quality and nice and hot. The service could not have been more attentive and the quality of food is outstanding as are the portion sizes and it is value for money. We will keep coming back here.
