Came here during a stay at Ruthin Castle. Well if breakfasts had a specific Michelin star this place would be awarded! Beautiful local produce cooked to perfection and presented with care. I have to say the best I’ve ever had!! Coffee was outstanding. We are hooked now and will definitely be back. Attentive service from Rory, a lovely friendly guy and so welcoming. Every business needs a ‘Rory’

Lunchtime in Ruthin and we needed somewhere to sit down and enjoy a Quick Lunchtime Snack. My wife ordered the Vegetable Soup which came hot, in a very large bowl with more than enough crispy bread pieces. I selected Baked Potato with Chili con Carne. What arrived was a veritable feast. The Chili came in it's own container with small ramekins of grated cheese in one a butter in another the large potato was accompanied by both salad & Cole slaw. Could not quite finish it all. The young man running the deli was very pleasant and very efficient. Unlike many places today, although very busy, he was constantly looking around to see if any customer needed anything. A sign of a Good Caring Restauranteur. Our waitress, Raj, was also very friendly and efficient. This new restaurant deserves to succeed. Highly recommended.

Called here for lunch on a Visit to Ruthin. A lovely Bistro. My Hubby had The Ploughman's Lunch which was amazing. As I am on a very low fat diet ( pre gallbladder surgery ) I opted for a chicken baguette ans salad. ( they kindly used vegan spread on my baguette, so no fat ) It was delicious...too much for me so they boxed half to bring home. Lovely pot of decent Tea. All in all a lovely lunch. Will definitely return.

We often visit Ruthin when we are on holiday in North Wales and we have had a wonderful meal here before. Today my wife and I shared a delicious cheese and pickle sandwich with a fantastic salad and then shared a toasted tea cake. The coffees were an excellent quality and nice and hot. The service could not have been more attentive and the quality of food is outstanding as are the portion sizes and it is value for money. We will keep coming back here.

Its' been a while since I wrote a review but this place was so amazingly lovely it spurred me on. The staff were super friendly, engaging and funny whilst the food was scrummily gorgeous. They were very busy but we didn't have to wait long and there were regular checks that all was well. We will definitely return when we venture that way again.

My wife and I called in for something to eat after a short walk round Ruthin. The place is not large, but very well laid out and clean. I ordered a breakfast and my wife a baked potato with cheese and mushrooms. The service was very polite and the food was hot, excellent and extremely good value for money. We will definitely be returning for a re-run of this experience! Well done and many thanks to all the staff. John

Well worth a visit. Portion size is good and reasonably priced. Ploughman’s lunch was a nice surprise and the baked potatoes had plenty of filling

Went in a large group and was quickly accommodated. Amazing food, coffee and service. Lovely tasty food and they had some great specials on and a good lunch menu! Dog friendly too!

The staff were friendly and the portions were large . Dog friendly . We needed GF and they were very helpful . Highly recommended .

What a find! We were so impressed with morning coffee and cake that we returned the next day for lunch. One of the best sandwiches (so fresh, so tasty, such generous portions and fab accompaniments) I've ever had. My husband had a delicious Croque Champignons. The staff are super friendly, and so were the other customers. We really hope to visit again when we're next in N Wales.

Stopped for coffee but couldn't resist staying for lunch once we were there. We had paninis and jacket potatoes, all fresh, homemade and wonderfully generous portions. Delicious. Lovely little pitstop, would definitely recommend!

Popped in on the way home from Bala, never been before, what a gem. Chicken sandwich was tasty and plentiful, soup was amazing. Brilliant service, chatty and quick. Priced reasonably. Highly recommend if in the area. Will definitely return when passing through.

Terrific sandwiches! Just what we needed after a lovely walk around Ruthin. Family owned with such a friendly atmosphere. Couldn't resist the cakes too and they didn't disappoint. Excellent value for money. Definitely worth a visit.

11/10 - the food is always amazing and you get more than you would expect - staff are super friendly and always more than happy to help - great vegetarian and vegan options - delightful!

This is a lovely deli and cafe. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. As a coeliac, I was attracted by the sign in the window which promises gluten free cake, but was astounded to get a choice of five different homemade cakes, all gluten free and all looking equally delicious. I opted for a coffee and walnut which proved to be scrumptious. We were only in Ruthin for a coffee stop but will come back!

We were searching for somewhere to eat our lunch and chanced upon this place. So glad that we did! The ploughman's was massive and delicious. I would make a special trip to visit here in the future. Fantastic.

Another great omelette/salad for breakfast - delicious. The staff are always friendly and Leonardo's has become a steady go-to.

Well after 20 years of marriage I can finally say my husband tips !!!!!!!! Today we happened to come across this little gem !! Hot, bothered and starving we came here for a little something to tie us over The portions were amazing, so amazing not sure we need any tea. The only complaint I I have is a serious case of FOMO when I saw his food !! staff were incredible. On such a hot day (a heatwave in North wales woo hoo) staff were attentive and so bubbly (loved listening to the banter with the regulars). Honestly thank you !!

First visit to Ruthin and came across this cafe, food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. I had turkey and cranberry sandwiches with an amazing salad, and my boyfriend had the beef and horseradish which he said was the nicest beef ever. Very generous portions for very reasonable prices, will definitely call in again.

My parter and I had a Bree and cranberry panini. My daughter had egg on toast. It was all very tasty. Friendly staff.

Really good value for a meal and I have never been disappointed with the food quality! The portions are excellent and the service is great - will look forward to my next visit.
