Orme View Restaurant in Conwy

Sometimes, to frequently you go for lunch or dinner and it's not very inspiring? Hold onto your hat at the ORME VIEW it is absolutely brilliant, wonderful service, delicious food and better than anywhere else locally (that's North Wales) Thank you to you all , you should be proud of what you do. The Welsh tourist board, have seen what you do?

Great food. Wonderful presentation. Silver service. Students give service of a much higher standard than most restaurants. Good wine list. Highly recommended.

So impressed with this restaurant. The service was lovely and our waitress was very attentive and polite. My butternut squash velouté was the best I’ve ever tasted-in fact all the food we had was just lovely. It’s so nice to have a delicious meal while knowing you’re giving young up and coming chefs/front of house staff the experience they need. My only regret is that we didn’t have more cash on us to give as a tip!!

Went for lunch with friends, it was a set menu with choices of starters and mains,something to suit everyone. The restaurant was light and airy,with fabulous views across mountains to the sea. Plenty of parking,and a lift up to thr restaurant, The service was polite and all the trainees were watched over by a tutor,,the food was excellent, well presented and very tasty,my friends chose different mains and starters,all had clean plates at tge end.It cost £17'50 ,for 3 courses,which in today's market was very reasonable. I can't praise them enough ,the students and tutors do an excellent job,I shall be returning.

Although strictly speaking this is not a normal everyday restaurant as a college they are producing the icing on the cake of staff for the future of restaurants. The service is top quality from arrival to leaving. Staff are closely supervised but these students are all wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. I experienced the extra special event menu today which is a cut above their regular fare even though that is wonderful. I will definitely book and visit again when in the area.

Excellent meal today the taste of turkey was delicious and the Christmas pudding was absolutely fabulous.The young people should be proud as the standard was up with top restaurants well done will definitely be returning .

Rhyl Rotary club members and friends enjoyed the set menu. We visit every year and the standard of both the food and service by the students is excellent. we have never been disappointed.

We booked for 4. We had a warm greeting. The set menu was delightful...well balanced, perfect portions, delicious flavours and presented beautifully. The service was impeccable with professional direction from the senior staff. Chefs, Oliver and Dalton, deserve the praise we afforded them, as do the waiters. We’ve already booked to dine again. This was our second visit to Orme view training restaurant and again we could not fault it! The food was stunningly presented and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional, you would never think that the team there are in training, they are so professional yet personable. I would have rated them higher if I could!

We have been to Orme view many times over the last few years lunch and dinner times. Never been disappointed the food always good sometimes things l would not have ordered but really enjoyed. Laura the restaurant manager is great, we had a new waiter called William last time he was excellent.

We had an excellent meal at the Orme View restaurant. Food was first class, all silver service with lovely view from the restaurant. We go once a month and consider the food to be the best in the area. Very good value for money.

Lovely restaurant for a celebration afternoon tea. Mini cakes were amazing 🍰Car parking by main reception. Highly recommended. Hope to return back soon 😀

Visited the restaurant on 19th May for the three course set lunch. All the waiting on staff are students and learning the trade. We were greeted quickly and politely and shown to our table. Great views over Rhos Golf club.It is a licenced restaurant so we ordered a couple of drinks and then our starters and mains. All drinks and courses arrived quickly the meals themselves albeit not massive portions were cooked well and very tasty. Great value at £12 per head. All the students were very polite and appeared eager to learn. Would definitely return. NB If you want to leave a tip you will need cash as for some reason they cannot add the tip to your bill if you are paying by card.

A group of 18 attended and all thoroughly enjoyed their meals which were beautifully presented. The meals were very tasty. The students were all well turned out polite and attentive all a credit to the college.

Excellent meal. Five superb courses beautifully prepared and served by pleasant well trained young people in delightful setting. Very good value. Lovely delicate portions of delicious food expertly cooked. A real treat ! Restaurant also selling Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies. This is well worth a visit!

Had lunch here today which was quite simply amazing!! Fantastic service from start to finish. Food was absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend a visit here! Well done to the whole team....Keelan in particular was very polite & attentive.

Reservamos una mesa en el 12. Servicio 00 horas y dio una cálida bienvenida a nuestra llegada. Este restaurante es la capacitación y la universidad llandrillo no estábamos muy seguros de qué esperar. El servicio era un poco lento y muy precisa, pero esto es como los estudiantes son forgivable aprendizaje y todos eran entusiastas y servicial.

Fui en un tiempo jueves almuerzo, llegamos tarde, pero la señora de la recepción me preguntó el restaurante si podían servir y morir. Tuvimos la cena de pollo con verduras 3 exquisitamente cocinada en un plato diferente lado. . Así esperamos. Un costo de £3 - 50 miserable. No puedo conseguir una mejor relación calidad-precio en otro lugar. Regresaré de nuevo. Acceso minusválidos, Ascensor hasta el restaurante. La entrada al restaurante es a través de la área de recepción principal.

Servicio muy amable con estudiantes entusiastas. El campo de salmón escalfado era magnífico. Único fallo importante fue que 1 estudiantes fue dejado ir una mesa de 25 tanto con la salsa de arándano y salsa de pan así que algunas personas habían casi terminado su comida antes de que nos ofrecieron estos. También hay que poner algo de salsa en el brandy brandy. A £14. 75 por 5 campos de estas son minucias sin importancia.

As always,very tasty food served by young willing and competent staff,lovely view.A credit to those staff that make this catering department of the college so successful.

Occasionally go to the Orme View and we are never disappointed.Food is always tasty, and often the menu contains items that are a little bit different to the norm around here.Recommended for lunch

Had a Christmas lunch here with my colleagues. Food was superb and the price was very reasonable. £14.25 for 5 courses! Would definitely recommend!

Visited the restaurant for our Christmas meal and couldn't fault it! The service by the students was extremely professional and the food was excellent quality and value. It really is fine dining, without the cost!

What a secret gem . Stumbled on this fabulous restaurant within the Llandrillo college by accident when our own apprentice chef won an award here . Came back for an evening meal . As good as any 5 star hotel/ restaurant that we've ever visited and couldn't have had better service from Elijah, Philip & Scott . Absolute credit to their mentors . Tonight was the last booking for this term but we will definitely be back with friends as soon as they reopen next term . Anyone looking for fabulous food, a lovely setting and view & great service need not venture any further.

Visited here for the first time last bank holiday, queue was out to the pavement outside which surprised me for a small shop, food was really nice and hot, we had to wait a few minutes for fresh food but it was worth it. I would recommend.

RICS North Wales held our Christmas lunch at this restaurant within a college, and what a pleasant experience.The students were ably guided by their lecturers, but hardly needed it. The quality and choices of food were very good indeed (I am a vegan, so a challenge to most restaurants!). Service was timely, friendly and courteous.Because this is a training establishment, you pay only around half what you would normally expect. Fantastic value, but would easily have been worth full price!All in all a really pleasant time, kept a group of (sometimes quite difficult) surveyors very happy.
