The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Edinburgh and Lothian

Oh wow! We thought it’ll be nice to have dinner in a restaurant instead of going to a pub! High hopes however the battered cod & chips was tasteless and pretty oily¿ How can a simple dish fail In a hotel restaurant! Never again

Had a lovely breakfast, and the service was friendly and fast.

A really great Fringe location, lots of great venues, bar options and food in the garden, and even more great options very close by. You can easily grab six shows in one go.

Good staff very quick cool guy but the cheesy chips were not melted and were stale will not visit again.

The order was wrong! No latte was delivered.

We got the three chocolate fondue. It comes with marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, pancakes, waffles and three types of chocolate sauces: milk, dark and white chocolate. It was a yummy dessert for two people. The only issue I had was that service was extremely slow. When the waitress finally came around to help, she helped a table that had been sat down almost 15 after us. It took about 15 minutes for us to get service and take our order. I do recommend it if you are in the area.

Ordered a drink and toastie. Toastie £10!Drink came quickly (apple pressé served with a slice of lime for some reason). Toastie didn’t arrive for 30 mins despite the place being practically empty so I asked to cancel as I had to go. The chef said that “you can’t cancel” and one of the waitresses had to say they would have it instead which they shouldn’t have to do when it was the chef’s fault. They did offer it to go but this would have meant a further wait. The reason given for the delay was a new chef but it’s a hot sandwich mate, it’s not complicated. One of the chatting waitresses could have made it if he couldn’t. They verbally gave me the price for the drink so I didn’t have a choice about the service charge. They also don’t ask about allergies nor have they marked on the menu which I believe is a legal requirement. Reading the other reviews from 5 years ago I can see that service time has always been a problem for them and doesn’t seem to have improved. Vegetarian options were limited and I don’t think there was anything vegan besides chips or salad.

Great location if you want the hottest tourist spots. Castle is spectacular. Staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Nice pub, with a mostly Scottish crowd, all Champions League games were on. Large selection of draft beer, I would love to come back.

Pret is always the best value place for filter coffee and croissants. But shwarma is delicious

Bonita pequeña vergüenza pub sobre el precio de una copa grande de Chardonnay £ 11. 30, el más caro que pagamos en todo el día. También baños horribles especialmente a las 5. 30 pm, no puedo imaginar cómo serían al final de la noche.
