Been coming to Taste for over 7-8 years for breakfast/lunch and have found the food to be delicious 🤤 and the service first class. Would recommend this place to anyone 🌟

Stopped in to have a cup of coffee prior to our shopping extravaganza. With table service on offer, we just sat down and waited. It was lovely and warm inside and the decor is good. Waitresses cheerful with customer service, the coffee was good. Used to facilities under the toilet was clean.

Unhelpful male junior staff at the counter who made me sit outside because they didn’t want me to sit inside at the big table! It’s cold outside in Scotland in November and I’d recommend it to anyone!!

You can drink very good hot chocolates and other drinks and pastries there. Great.

Go there regularly and both food and service are always top rated. The menu is simple and food always fresh.Yhe home bakes are the best in Linlithgow.

Came here for a late lunch early dinner with my partner. We both shared the haggis spring rolls which were great. I had steak pie and my partner had fajitas. Both were fantastic! The steak pie was one of the best I've had and the fajitas were amazing! Service was great from the get go and the nothing was an issue at all! I'll definitely be returning for more steak pie!!

I wouldn’t have know this cafe was there as it is so well hidden from sight, but it is well worth looking for if you are after somewhere with all the basic essentials. It is more works canteen than top end coffee shop, but it’s spacious, warm, and is inexpensive. A great place to take children without fear of them upsetting anyone or breaking something valuable! The staff are worth a special mention. Friendly, cheerful and helpful.

Lovely place! food was great don’t listen to the bad reviews, lovely and attentive staff, we had full breakfast, the haggis was the best i’ve had.

Unfortunately, really not impressed with this place. We went here because their website said they were doing the "eat out to help out" scheme. We were charged full price. When I questioned it, I was met with a confused "no?". Also, a massive GDPR issue for me. Beside the till, was a list that we put our name and number on for track and trace. I could quite clearly see everyone's details, just left on the counter for anyone to see! Honestly, online this place looked so great, but it was a disappointing reality. The muffins were average. Like nothing special. I was really surprised at the prices of things. Like almost a fiver for a small cheese toasty, which, again, was nothing to write home about. Also my coffee was very bland. Normally coffee is a bit bitter for me, so I take sugar, but not with this. Was pretty tasteless. I doubt I'll be going back here.

A lovely cafe and I visit regularly. I often go with my 6 year old grandchild, who loves Cappadocia's French toast.

Had dinner, bit over priced for what I got, only one make of wine which tasted like vinegar, staff were not welcoming at all and not a nice atmosphere. After we ate decided to go to bar for a drink (it was my birthday) and thought might have different wine and more friendly atmosphere but a man opened the door and said there was no seats, full because of rugby match on so sat in seats in lounge, this was about 2.45pm, a staff member TOLD us we would need to leave by 5pm, between this time we were TOLD not asked, three times, that we would have to move by 5pm. There was a mish mash of seats that were uncomfortable and the first table we sat at had a rug under it which was wrinkled up and I tripped over it so we moved seats as I had my 87 year old mum with me and didn't want her falling. Overall spoilt my birthday and we will never go back there. So if you are looking for a friendly pub with good atmosphere, don't come here.
