Lovely bright, inviting cafe, with friendly staff. I’m gluten and dairy free, and they catered for this no problem. Definitely worth a visit. I will come back here.

A pleasant surprise for lunch whilst visiting nearby Linlithgow Palace! A beautiful cafe with friendly staff, lovely decor & scrumptious home made food. Highly recommended if you are in this beautiful Scottish town. The club sandwich was the best we’ve ever tasted, nutritious home made soup & quiche was very yummy.

Called in here with our dog after a stroll round Linlithgow Loch. We were greeted warmly and dog biscuits were immediately forthcoming. We ordered a bite to eat - panini for me and a club sandwich for my wife. The food arrived swiftly and was hot, fresh and tasty. The cafe was also spotlessly clean. We’ll be most happy to return when we’re next in the town.

We collected two Mother’s Day afternoon teas today and they were delicious. A lovely piece of quiche, a sausage roll - I heated both in the oven for 5 mins. 4 lovely sandwiches, a scone with jam and cream, a meringue, a piece of caramel shortcake, a mini cake, an empire biscuit and a huge strawberry. All beautifully wrapped with Mother’s Day ribbon and two little candles in the gift bag. A real treat. Couldn’t fault it at all. Really fabulous

We called in with a half hour limit due to our parking running out. We checked the cafe was still serving and were told they closed at 4 pm but would be happy to serve cuppas. This was just what we required. We chose millionaires shortbread. This was very gooey. I wondered if the toffee has set? It tasted rather sweet. These were served to us on melamine strawberry plates. I would have preferred china plates but would be more suitable for kids. The tea was served lovely and hot in a knitted strawberry tea cosy. My husband thought the coffee tasted above average. Other customers came in whilst we were being served and told that they were soon closing. I felt pressure to gulp down my tea quickly. The toilets were clean and the cafe appeared to be quite child friendly.

Food nice, reasonably priced. Staff pleasant and friendly. We always like to pop in whenever in linlithgow for a bite. Only thing is in hotter weather it can get quite stuffy. Staff are more than happy to open door to let some air in though, if you ask. Only one bad thing (but not a reflection of the place itself!)....some customers need to learn to flush a toilet after them! :/

Would recommend this cafe to anyone who's anywhere near Linlithgow. The cafe was really busy but the staff were really friendly and attentive to both visitors and regulars alike. The food was good as was the selection, even has a kids meal deal which was great as the 6 year old with me can be a very finicky eater and even she thought it was great, asking if we could come another day. The waitress was friendly and the food was freshly prepared but didn't take long to arrive. I recently ate here for breakfast/lunch, and was fairly impressed. I ate a scrambled egg roll and drank a vanilla latte. Both were excellent, and tasted good. The roll was a seeded roll and was very good. The interior of the place was lovely, the staff were nice. The only slight problem was that they charged 30p extra for soy milk, which in an age were lactose intolerance is well-known about is, I feel, slightly unreasonable. Prices were also slightly higher than other cafe's in the area. That being said, the experience was a generally positive one.

Wish I hadn't recommended it as the slice of salted caramel cake I ordered and my friend's slice of lemon cake were both very, very dry and the icing on the top was very hard. 2 friends & I stopped off here for brunch when out on a walk. The cafe itself is lovely, spotless & lots of room. I went up to order us 3 teas & 3 bacon toasties. I was asked if I wanted a side salad & crisps with the toasties. I said yes, assuming it was included in the £4.95 price. The toastie was tasty & had a few crisps & a handful of lettuce. But when I went to pay, was charged £2 extra per toastie! We all felt that this was over the top for what would normally be included anyway. The total bill was £27, which we felt was too much. Don't think we will be back 😏

This was my first visit to this café, I have always passed it and it's always busy, but you do get a table quick, staff are very friendly and are quick with service but you don't feel rushed. They have a brilliant choice on their menu. There are gluten-free, alternative dairy and vegan options. I had a gluten-free tuna toastie with salad, chips, and fresh orange drink, it was delicious. My partner had roast chicken toastie with salad, chips, and fresh mango drink, and again, delicious. They have a wide variety of drinks - milkshakes, ice cream drinks, hot chocolate, coffees, teas, and loads of syrups, along with juices.
