You can drink very good hot chocolates and other drinks and pastries there. Great.

I brought my teenage autistic son in here again today for the 2nd time. We love having a wee tea and scone together as a treat after shopping but he can become overwhelmed when places are busy and noisy. Today's visit was perfect. Staff were busy but attentive and tables were being cleared as quickly as they could. This place has amazing treats, lovely tea in a proper wee net bag and such a lovely calm atmosphere/decor. He said today that he feels so relaxed here so this will now be our place. He has already decided what he's having next time. Ten out of ten

Great coffee and cake served by friendly professional staff. Seating inside and out in sunny Bathgate.

Ordered the scrambled egg and avocado on sourdough toast and added salmon on for £2 it was £10.50 overall. I was astonished when it arrived and the sourdough slice was absolutely tiny barley even 2 bites I got out of it very disappointing as I expected a regular slice of sourdough for £10.50

Had been here once before and thought it OK, maybe a 3,. Paid a visit around 3.45 on a sunny Friday afternoon, ordered a tea and a black coffee wuth HOT milk. Display cabinet for scones or traybakes was absolutely empty , asked server if anything was available and her muttered response was "They've all been put aeay".. Should have asked if something could have been brpught back but didn't pursue it. She looked like she was just looking forward to closing time - 5pm! She then served cold milk with the coffee and had to be reminded I had ordered HOT milk. She served some. Just as well it was hot because I wouldn't even have described the coffee as hot. Unlikely to go back.

Visited with a family member as we had never been in area before. Drawn in by nice looking coffee shop and both decided to try the eggs Benedict along with our coffees. Coffees were lovely and the service was friendly but the food was such a disappointment. Never known eggs to be practically hard boiled with this dish. All four eggs were the same, not one single runny one. Would not recommend to anyone willing to try this dish.

I couldn't eat my eggs benefict. The muffin hadn't been toasted, the poached eggs were more like 2 boiled eggs, and the bacon was missing ( which is what I first noticed. )When the girl went to get some bacon , I then noticed how the muffins and eggs were, so I decided I just wanted a refund. The girls did offer to re do the food, but I was put off by then. I gave 2 stars based on the food that I received and the wrap my friend had. She did enjoy her wrap and said it was tasty, but there was not a lot of filling in it . The girls were helpful enough . Perhaps it was too busy for the person cooking, or they needed more training ? We left and got something for me to eat at another establishment, but we did return later for coffee and cake. They had a lovely selection of cakes. The cafe is a lovely place to come for coffee and cake or a light lunch. It was just unfortunate that my breakfast had been so badly made on this occasion.

The tea was lovely and so was the atmosphere i didn't have any food as I was not hungry

Asked for a roll with link sausage apparently couldn't do that even though they serve link. The bacon roll was basically just rinds of bacon and over priced

Lovely location. All staff were very helpful and kind. However the toilets were not as clean as I would have expected. There was no hand wash left in ladies toilet so I had to get some from the disabled toilet. The hand drier was hard to find as it was behind the door. Food was lovely, coffee was great. Would go back.

The coffee was basic, it didn’t have anything that pulled me in to say ‘this is a good coffee’ very bland and I don’t think it had good strength. We had also gotten two halloumi wraps that when we got them, they were completely drenched in sweet chilli sauce. Took a bite out the wrap and the whole thing had just fallen apart. Not great straight in the bin. Waste of £25

A dirty place with crisps on the chairs and floor. Staff without interest and smile. Sorry, not worth to visit.

I visited the livingston store today and was dissapointed with my visit. We had a tea, I usually like English breakfast, but not this one, it didn't taste good. My friend had a fruit scone that crumbled to bits when cutting through it. I had a cheese scone, but it was so hard I had to ask for it to be microwaved. I won't be back

Wonderful! Excellent coffee shops around the country but the name… It’s not catchy. I’ve been saying it for years it sounds like I’m asking people to meet me at/near Disney. I’ve even asked how to pronounce the name when they first opened in Bathgate because my family and I each called it something different. I love the macaroons. It’s a such a treat to have a coffee and bite to eat here.

Brilliant place to eat. We went in for some lunch. Everything was lovely. Staff were friendly, food was good + plentiful. Tea + coffee piping hot. Cakes yummy.

Great soup and sandwich deal. The pancakes, hard cold bacon and golden syrup, (not maple syrup) was disappointing Coffee tasted great but lukewarm.

My daughter and I had breakfast together and it was really good. Highly recommend the pancakes, bacon with maple syrup. GF options are available but not too many choices. Coffee is good too. Only one criticism it was cold where we were sitting. Not sure if there was a back door open.

We would definitely recommend. We come to Scotland every year as I have family here and my late grandparents used to live in Bathgate. We come from Somerset, England. We had breakfast here last year and this year we came to Dnisi twice in one week for breakfast. Friendly staff, nice and clean, good atmosphere. Cooked breakfast was lovely. Also had a cream and jam scone which was lovely. We will be here again when we visit next Aug.

Very friendly service in attractive surroundings. The coffee was wonderful and the choice of homemade scones was great. I had a delicious fruit scone with jam and cream. I heartily recommend Dnisi in Bathgate.

Popped in today for lunch on a wet afternoon. Staff are friendly and efficient and food is well priced. Scones are amazing and tea might be the best Earl Grey I've ever had.

Have to give it a low rating. Customer service was great and seems busy. However I got an oat flat white which was £4.15. It’s crazy as it’s the most expensive coffee I’ve bought and I’ve had many in London and Edinburgh

Best coffee shop in Bathgate. Love to see independent shops doing well, and this one deserves to still be going strong despite having a Costa close and a new Starbucks open nearby. The food is excellent, the shakshuka (give it a try!) Is especially good - I imagine it would be the perfect hangover food!

Delicious coffee and amazing homemade food.

After standing for a while in the queue, I asked why there was only one serving. I was told one was prioritising clearing tables and the other was sitting in plain sight having a break. No prioritising the customers. The one who was serving couldn't multi task and was excruciatingly slow. I went in for a toastie but no way was I waiting so just asked for a scone which was served on a piece of dirty slate. Had to ask for a clean plate. There were 6 of us but we won't be back.

We went to Dnisi as it was a cold day and it looked busy inside so thought it must be nice. We all ordered the soup and sandwich deal and had lentil soup with a ham and cheese sandwich which was very tasty! The sandwich was full too which was good and the bread was lovely too!

Looked really nice from the outside,placed my order,waited half an hour before enquiring to be told my order was not passed to the kitchen. First visit will probably be my last. Disappointed and still hungry to say the least. I always try to go to smaller or family owned places but Greggs got my money today.

Sat for half an hour patiently waiting on my order only to be told the order hadn't been passed to the kitchen. Not very professional. Can't comment on the quality of food because I took a refund. For being a first time customer I can't see returning. Very disappointed.

I Visited the Bathgate store today had an amazing latte with fantastic latte art also was offered the brazilian blend and wow was amazing !!Had a spiced pear tart and omg was delicious and service was 2nd to none nothing was a bother for the ladies they are a credit to this store will definitely be back !!!!

As long term fans of Dnisi we were disappointed with our first visit to this branch. The place was full of uncleared tables and the floor was a mess. The staff were friendly enough but overall not up to the usual standards.

Popped into Dnisi in Bathgate a few weeks ago with my wife and our friends for some coffee and cake. First time I have been in this coffee shop, have walked past many times but have never been inside. We entered around 2 on a Saturday afternoon, coffee shop was very quiet with one other table occupied. There were a few cakes etc. left to choose from and we were offered regular or specialized choices of coffee beans. We ordered 3 coffee's and 2 cakes between us (caramel shortcake and a scone). I am not sure but both tasted like massed produced and pretty tasteless. It was close to the end of the day, place looked a little untidy however they probably had a busy lunch rush before we arrived. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit, not sure I would return

The coffee is usually good, though a couple of weeks gave us pause, but their scones are delicious. I don't eat lunch there because they only use mild cheese and, I'm sorry, you might as well be using thick slabs of butter. I had a really good tomato soup there once, though.

A lovely venue, friendly happy staff with a wonderful menu that meets all taste. Quality food this is a must.

I can see what they're trying to do, but unfortunately it's not working. Pitching as a coffee roaster I expected good coffee. Bad, undrinkable espresso, cold Americano. I wanted to like it and I'm sure it's a nice cafe, but if you want to be served great coffee, this isn't the place

Visited here the welcome from the staff was amazing, their coffee was served piping hot and gosh their breakfast was so good, will definitely be back again

Good coffee and nice staff. They have a selection of coffees and cakes. I enjoyed a yummy vanilla frapaccino which had a good amount of ice without losing the flavour.

Scones are so nice and good mixture of choices . Good friendly atmosphere. Chocolate milkshakes are very good if you have a sweet tooth

Ordered two lattes, discovered later an extra charge of 2 x £0.35 for Guest Coffee, not requested. I fortunately turned down the offer of CBD shots, just as well as I discovered later this would be another extra charge up to £3.50 per coffee. Ordered scone with butter and jam, this was delivered along with clotted cream. Seemed a nice touch until I noticed later an extra charge of £1.20 for the clotted cream. On the plus side, all food and drink was good quality. Reported my comments on the Dnisi website who denied any wrongdoing but will remind staff of things.

Popped in for a quick lunch today. Service and welcoming were very friendly. We asked for a variation to the menu which was no problem. Food was cooked to order as stated on the menu and was delivered pretty quickly unlike previous comments. Fresh and tasty. Certainly no complaints and would recommend. We'll be back again.

Great meal. The hot pastrami & mustard ciabatta was incredible, and probably the best potato wedges I've ever had. Friendly atmosphere, good portion sizes, reasonable price and quick service. All-in-all a highly recommended local cafe.

Not impressed, over priced ,not value for money,very little cheese on the nachos, won't be coming back again, and won't recommend it.

I just want to say a huge thank you to the staff at the Dnisi in Bathgate. We are pretty regular at this cafe and have always been greeted and taken care of by the nicest staff. Today, they went above and beyond. When my partner had a panic attack and left suddenly to sit outside, a member of staff actually came outside to check on us and gave my partner some water. I went back in to grab my coat and they checked with me to make sure they were alright and I didn’t leave without the box of scones they kindly left behind the counter for us. I cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind and thoughtful.

A nice pleasant setting. I ordered 2 coffees and 2 scones and was shocked when the bill came to £11.20. I have never paid such inflated prices anywhere. The coffee was average and the scones were very nice, however, this did not justify the cost. I will certainly never go back.

This is a nice place, especially in Summer when you can sit outside. I've always found the prices to be just a wee bit too high for what they offer - and other coffee shops within walking distance offer better coffee at lower prices. The main issue with Dnisi is (as others have mentioned) service - it's just so sloooooow.

It was lovely n clean, staff very helpful n polite, cafe latte was nice but wasnt hot enough, had a bacon roll, it was more fat than bacon, I didnt like the roll, it wasnt a white roll, but wasnt a brown roll either, I wasnt asked what kind of roll Id like, just assumed it would be a normal white roll x

This is a lovely place for something to eat tea coffee sandwich wraps or my favourite scones plain fruit royal or herb flavours all great give it a try. You will go back.
