Small wine bar on the high Street. Very popular and rightly so. Great selection of good wines, good platters of food to match the wine and efficient helpful service. A great place for a night out with friends.

This was a gift from friends for my husband's birthday. Staff were brilliant and very helpful. Loved the wine flights, great selection of white and rose for me and red for my husband. Sharing platter was great too.

An intimate wine bar with an incredible selection of independent whiskies. All reasonable priced. Try as I might I couldn't find a bad one. Will be going back!

Can't recommend Du Vin Bouchers highly enough. Great atmosphere, terrific selection of wines and whisky as well as excellent service. Definitely planning a return trip already.

First visit from drinks & Catherine was so welcoming. She & her husband have made this little wine Bar a wonderful refuge from the busy world. Thank you for your hospitality & I hope to be back in Linlithgow soon to pay another visit.

After window shopping this place for years we finally booked in and it was well worth the wait! The charcuterie & wines we tried were delicious and the atmosphere was cosy making a really nice vibe! We loved that we were also able to purchase a bottle of wine to take home with us! And the staff were all so sweet and lovely! We hope to come back soon!

I’m so disappointed in our visit recently. The bar staff were so rude with a few snippy comments. I was so happy to show off Linlithgow to a visiting friend but was utterly embarrassed by the way we were spoken to after questioning the poor drinks we were served that were on the menu described as cocktails.. they were far from it apart from the price. Thought this wee place would be a regular treat, sadly however we won’t be back.

Nice place but very rude and curt service . Drinks that we’re ment to be cocktails were very wrong and poor when I complained I got the answer:”we are a wine bar and it is what it is” So why have cocktails on the the drink menu if you can’t make them or have proper glasses. I will not going back there.

Visited in the afternoon, but stayed well into the evening, 10 of us had a great time there, great service and choice of beverages, great atmosphere.

Lovely, very friendly and cozy little wine and whiskey bar in the heart of Linlithgow. A hidden gem well worth a visit with a large array of Vino and malts on offer. These can be supplemented by a selection of delicious meat and cheese platters. For those not convinced by these tipples, there is even a nice Italian beer on tap! Highly recommend.

Just a nice place to be, had a nice glass of wine and sharing platter with friend. Great service as well. A little bit of what we all miss during these Covid times. Back after 7 months for a lovely night out with friends, I need to make these visits sooner but Linlithgow seems so far away when organising a night out, yet only 4 train stops. It’s still a great place to spend an evening and I’d recommend it.

Booked last night and this was my 3rd visit and I definitely won’t be back. The £1000 fine notice in the bathroom is simply ridiculous….but very amusing….who for goodness sake would enforce this. The food and wine was good. You get what you pay for. At 22:30hrs the remaining customers were told to leave…our drinks weren’t even finished. Very disappointing

Visited this cosy wine bar in the centre of Linlithgow with a group of friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed our night, the cheese / meat / vegan platters and of course the wine. We were very well looked after by the owners and will definitely return soon! Thank you.

Good food and wine but the curt service will stop us returning

Wine selection and food platter was good. However, a potentially much better review was significantly marred by the curt service. We appreciate that every establishment has a closing time, however the manner in which you are asked to finish up and leave can seriously affect the overall experience. Being treated as if you are in pub with unruly clientele rather than a wine bar/ restaurant where you have just spent north of £100 just isn’t on. Not a great business builder I’m afraid.

Always made to feel welcome by the owners and staff who never fail to deliver an outstanding service with an exceptional knowledge of the wine. Discovered this wonderful tapas bar when staying in Linlithgow for a wedding anniversary. Intimate and cosy setting with benches along long tables with some more individual tables too. We had a cheese and continental meat platter which was absolutely superb. Gorgeous flavours and of the highest quality. The friendly staff who were attentive and pleasant throughout the evening, took the time to go through various questions from my coeliac wife. They also spoke afterwards about the history of the property which for many years was a butcher shop, hence the name of the business. There was a very extensive wine list and we chose a complimentary red to wash down our tapas. We were dining on a Saturday evening which was a complete joy. The atmosphere was second to none and I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. We will return!

My friends and I had an amazing time at the recent event with singer Taylor Wilson. Taylor and Dot were fabulous and had us all captivated. Du Vin Boucher itself feels like a little piece of France - cosy, intimate and with a wide range of gorgeous wines and cheeses. Would highly recommend. After one night, I'm already dusting of my French books :-) x

Great atmosphere, ambience would be a better word. Catherine and Sam make you really welcome and give great advice on wine and, now, whisky.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Cosy wine bar with a good selection of different wines, brilliant selection of malts and Sam was on hand to recommend some unusual and delicious malts. We had a charcuterie and cheese platter which was lovely coupled with a bottle of Chianti and a bottle is Swiss wine that was first class. Love the theme inside and intimate setting. A must if you are in Linlithgow. Well done Catherine and Sam on creating a great wee place.

This bar has a great atmosphere, a varied menu and the food is excellent. The staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you enter. Definitely recommend for a great night out!
