White Dove Coffee in West Lothian

Unhelpful male junior staff at the counter who made me sit outside because they didn’t want me to sit inside at the big table! It’s cold outside in Scotland in November and I’d recommend it to anyone!!

Really nice place to go for drinks or food. Lovely friendly atmosphere and great staff. If you enjoy coffee, I honestly believe you won't get any better.

Been to this cafe many times coffee excellent and staff lovely but I felt very uncomfortable today at the way some of the staff were spoken to by either a manager or the owner really not acceptable and for that reason alone I won't be back

This was my first visit to the white dove coffee. We just popped in for coffee and a scone. Both were very good. The problem we had was the door was wedged open making it very cold depending where you were sitting. We were move but it was no better. We were told that it gets very stuffy if the door is closed. We were not the only people that complained and the door was closed. When you are enjoying a chat and coffee the last thing you want is to be cold.

wonderful spotlessly clean coffee house with an amazing choice of food and drinks, staff are excellent. has a coffee and a bacon Focaccia ( absolutely loaded with crispy bacon) i will revisit soon as the selection of cakes looked brilliant. keep up the good work folks

Perfect spot! Lovely staff, tasty warm mozzarella and pesto sandwich, with a fresh salad. Perfect coffee. I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back.

Great cafe, whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to the town, this is the best cafe in Linlithgow. Reason I say that is twofold - the best coffee (they roast their beans themselves) and very good cakes with a number of them supplied by Fisher & Donaldson (maybe scotlands best bakery based in St Andrews). Staff always attentive and friendly.

Popped in here whilst in area. Glad it wasn’t here when we lived in Linlithgow 30yrs ago would never have been away. Had decided on coffee and cheese scones which my husband loves but, I saw the white chocolate and cranberry traybake Oh my it was delicious took a piece out for my mum who we were visiting, she also loved it. Great place we even bought a framed winter photograph of Linlithgow loch in winter. Will definitely be back on our next visit which will be in next few weeks. Looking forward to trying yet another traybake or something more substantial.

While place at the top end of the 15 local cafes' price range, you get ambience, comfortable well spaced chairs, delightful service, high quality food, and they even welcome dogs with doggy treats!!

We were brought here on our recent visit to Scotland...and so glad we were, you really would need to know about this coffee shop as it's not on the main street... A sandwich selection that changes daily, pastries that are delicious and so many to choose from, coffee excellent and staff so friendly and helpful....I will definitely return when I come back.....

This a a lovely wee cafe with a relaxed and comfy environment. The staff were so nice. They treated customers with comfortable ease. The selection of sweet bites was extensive and unlike all the other cafes in Linlithgow. I was spoilt for choice.

I have visited twice in one week firstly with a friend for tea and cake ( best pistachio and apricot frangipani cake ) Then later with my daughter and toddler Grandson who had the kids platter (( very suitable for his age group) and well enjoyed by him We had tasty Pea and Mint soup and fresh crusty bread then followed by more delicious pistachio cake and tea Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff, we will return to be or favourite place in Linlithgow ( Dog Friendly too)

This place is god awful sure the food is good but they don't have a red emergency cord in the toilet, and they litterally don't care looked at me like I had grown give heads when I tried explaining how dangerous this is, I've contacted the council cause well this is illegal but I doubt anything will change they really couldn't care less about people's safety and disabled people safety.

Regular visitor to White Dove - serves the best Latte in Linlithgow. Only wish they had larger takeaway cups.

Frequently visit White Dove - very speacious and welcoming for all. Great seating area outside, family friendly and dog friendly. The coffee is good (I have bought beans to take home) and they have a good selection of vegan and / or gluten free options which is refreshing, not justa token gesture. Great magazine selelction if you are on your own or waiting for a friend.

Called in with family for lunch and it was lovely. Great service and beautiful surroundings made it a really pleasant experience. It was full which is always a good sign and everyone looked well happy. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Really enjoyed it.

Food and coffee nice, but arriving at 1632 and having to sit outside on the public bench is very disappointing. Having travelled 12 miles by cycle this was doubly disappointing. Greggs is across the street 😉

Delicious coffee and cakes with wonderful staff! I enjoyed a delightful coffee with a superb Lemon Tortellini cake. Highly recommend a visit!

Staff are lovely, coffee amazing, and cakes delicious - big selection. Never disappointed. Very welcoming place with a cool vibe.

I have visited once before with friends before restrictions set in and was impressed, and first time back since we opened up, met a friend for afternoon tea and as it had been my birthday she had brought card and present for me - the lovely lady that served us asked if it was a birthday to which my friend replied YES, and they brought a beautifully wrapped box of goodies to the table and wished me a Happy birthday, made my day - we will be back!!

Lovely cafe, beautiful cakes, great coffee!!! Only negative is that the shop only sells big bags of coffee beans!!! I'm not going to spend £12 or £20 for a bag of beans when I have not tried the coffee...but we will definitely be back

This cafe is exceptional ! Freshly roasted coffee beans on the premises every day. An owner Ilir and his wife Naomi who are totally passionate about their business but Ilir has coffee in his DNA. They buy their pastries and cakes from the different local suppliers who match their passion in coffee. And the showcase of art from local artists on the walls is fab. Even the coffee cups are imported from Palermo to keep coffee at optimum temperature. This is not any cafe. This is White dove Cafe. Sorry Costa etc, I’m moving my coffee spend here.
