The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Should have done my research and read the reviews before going here. It was close to our hotel and menu looked good. I ordered eggs florentine, a flat white and an orange juice. My friend had a hot chocolate and a hot cross bun. We were sitting in and had a nice window seat upstairs. It was a bit run down and could do with some attention but the view was nice. Had to go down and collect drinks even though we were sitting in. My friends chocolate was really good but the OJ was cheap and nasty. It also came in a plastic take out cup which was unnecessary when drinking in. Not good for the environment. The coffee was like something that comes out of a vending machine. My friends hot cross bun was given to her in a bag with no butter and was hard as rock. My eggs florentine looked good but the egg was not cooked properly, the white was still liquid. The muffin was just a cheap toasted bread roll. The sauce and spinach were nice so I just scraped off some of that and ate it with the bread. Would not recommend unless you want a hot chocolate.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this place like the plague. Ordered three drinks and they served me one and then I was left waiting over half an hour for another one. When I was served my pink lemonade it was undrinkable. I then asked for a peach ice tea which they then took another twenty minutes to make. Toilets look like something from a horror film, obviously hasn't been cleaned in days?! How this place is still open is beyond me. Staff are useless, slow and clueless.

As an HP fan, I really wanted to go see the place where the author wrote part of it. I'm still a fan of HP but I've lost all respect for JKR...so the experience was a bit bitter.

PERSONAL FAULT. We sat on the terrace to have a beer. It took them a long time to serve us and the poor girls had to run to serve the tables. You could really see the fatigue on his face. HIRE STAFF, rats.

Ordered food at 1.30pm and everything was stale and tasted days old. Not cheap either, definitely not worth the price. Morrisons cafe will do you better than here.

Coffee is okay. Stuff is friendly. furnishings are worn out. The toilet is dirty, even though a service check took place right in front of me.

We always visit here when visiting Edinburgh on a couple of nights for our evening meal (as we have a Flaming Grill close to us at home and know the brand). It’s not far from the city and we like a change from the tourist restaurants and bars in the city. We’ve always found everyone to be very friendly and this latest visit was no exception. There is a good range of drinks and the food is served hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely be back again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

as stated in title we had some difficulty finding the location as it was set above the road below. once found it met our hunger and poached eggs hit the spot. well done

Un cliente sentado con varios otros se cruzó y habló con mi novia en mi ausencia y más tarde vino y me dijo: "Este es un viejo pub de tíos, así que no te beses aquí. Si quieres hacer eso, ve a otro pub. " Él, como yo, tiene unos 50 años, lleva un polo negro de rugby de Bárbaro. Me sorprende la extraña hostilidad de alguien que es un cliente habitual allí.

Ordered a large cup of latte . The texture of the milk was just not right. The barista didn’t pay attention at all. Very disappointed.

Great student study place. Plenty of space and wifi with decent food and drink, all you could ever need as a student really.

Called here for the rugby match midday. Seating area was untidy and very cramped. You had to get a code for the toilet which frustrated other customers. Wont be going here again.

Small cafe with friendly staff. Good coffee and had an amazing bacon and cheese croissant. Worth a visit for some takeaway coffee or if you can manage to get a seat and people watch
