The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Fountainbridge / Craiglockhart Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

I visited Hanks to get my breakfast on the way to work. My colleagues are regulars here so I thought I'd give it a try. I was able to get my potato scone rolls which were very nice but they didn't have any mint tea. I had to go elsewhere for that which was a bit disappointing. Other than that it was good.

Agradable cafetería local con comida sencilla pero buena! El café también es bueno. Estuvimos allí para el desayuno, pero también hay opciones de almuerzo, creo.

Perfect coffee and bacon roll, lovely friendly staff, very reasonable!

Lovely good and good fast service. Orange juice freshly squeezed and Eggs and Salmon Hollandaise great.

Originally went to Piecebox to visit (outwith normal hours) to deliver stuff for Ukraine so decided to follow up one day when I was in the area during normal hours for coffee and cake. Coffee was excellent and the cake delicious but I think the service was a little under par (shortage of staff perhaps ?) . . . .but still OK.

Hula used to be good 5 years ago. Nothing tastes the same anymore. Sriracha tastes like cheap chilli sauce, fresh avocado is replaced with tasteless guacamole and the rest of the filling is just a cold and nasty chicken bites served on a bed of tasteless red cabbage! Do better.

Abbiamo scoperto questo delizioso posticino per caso, e che fortuna! Dolci da favola!!!! e le ragazze al banco super gentili! SUBLIME la (mega) tartelletta di albicocche! Avrete l'imbarazzo di cosa scegliere!

I was really wanting to like this cafe as it's not far from where I live and I wanted to find a new 'local'. The staff seemed nice. I ordered a meal and waited for a while. After 30 or so minutes my meal hadn't arrived and I enquired on its status. Apparently, the staff had lost the order. I was told I wouldn't have to pay which was a nice way of apologising. There was a shift change while I ate the food and when I went to pay the original staff member hadn't left any word of the discount, so I had to pay. The food was good, but the customer service let the cafe down unfortunately.

Although this place is mentioned in certain guides... Move around, there is NOTHING to see.

Friendly casual pub/bar. Fast and pleasant service, two for one on the food (a winner), bumped up the fries because bar man didn’t think we got enough and theakstons on draft - happy days.

Nice pub. Friendly staff. Good selection of food and local beers on tap. Meal I ordered was tasty. Recommended.

We always visit here when visiting Edinburgh on a couple of nights for our evening meal (as we have a Flaming Grill close to us at home and know the brand). It’s not far from the city and we like a change from the tourist restaurants and bars in the city. We’ve always found everyone to be very friendly and this latest visit was no exception. There is a good range of drinks and the food is served hot and in a timely manner. We will definitely be back again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Eclectic seating in spacious surroundings. Delicious hot coffee and food. The croque norwege packed with smoked salmon is terrific as was the side salad of lettuce, close cut cucumber, tomatoes with dressing. Portions are generous with thick toast bread/sourdough, butter and jam. Gluten free bread/ options available with SIX gf cakes. Impressive and tasty. Thankfully very close to where we stay as we tend to go there often.

Fui a tomar un café mientras esperaba a la esposa. Tomé un café con leche plano con un dulce millonario. El café y la torta dulce millonaria fueron realmente buenos. No hay muchos asientos en la cafetería, pero parece ser una excelente opción de comida para elegir, especialmente para llevar.
