We visited during covid times for a takeaway coffee and cake. Excellent selection of cakes and excellent service with a smile. Best Victoria Sponge I've had in ages! Great value as well. Will definitely be back to try more! Also very well done during Covid - was takeaway only when we visited, with a plastic screen at the door.

Always an absolute pleasure to visit Lewis and Clarke - some of the finest food in East Lothian for sure, and the friendliest welcome too! Great for brunch at the weekend, or to pick up some of their incredible patisserie to enjoy at home 👌🏻

We went for lunch and felt very welcome. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Lentil soup was good, just the side bread could be changed for the roll. I had a bruscheta without avocado due allergy. But they forgot😔. So I removed one star for rating.

Was rank, coffee was weak and hair in my pastry.. wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy to be honest. Would recommend Gregg's round the corner in all fairness.

Excellent meal, perfectly cooked by head chef Sean. Professionally served by Willie and Gemma. I had the brie then the roast beef. Perfectly cooked. Claire had the pate, George's home made recipe, then the scampi. Well done team .. 11 out of 10 xx

Great service and excellent quality food. Locally sourced produce. Breakfast bap with haggis. Yum. We were blessed with a beautiful day, so took advantage of the outdoor seating. Superb views. Little treat for the dog. Great food, great coffee, great service...what's not to love?

Stopped at The Green in Haddington for lunch and a drink. A friendly welcome, great service, nice surroundings and good food! The food was great - really tasty besides being really well priced. Will definitely stop by again!

Went to the Mazzoli Italian Kitchen at the Tyneside Tavern today for lunch. We were blown away as everything was fantastic. The food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. We had the lunch special and had haggis and focaccia with garlic mushrooms, then pepperoni pizza. The starters were delicious and highly recommended. The pizzas were perfect. The choice on the lunch special were fantastic, lots to of lovely dishes to choose from. For dessert we had cheesecake of the day, which was toffee. It was to die for!! We couldn't believe how good value for money it was! The staff were all friendly and helpful and we didn't feel rushed at all. The man who served us was super friendly (sorry didn't get his name) , made us feel very welcome! We will definitely be back!

The secret of this fantastic restaurant is definitely the family who runs it.We have spent time over the last 15 years going to the Rocks in Dunbar when Jim was running the show along with James and Jack and now over the last few years James is in charge along with Mark. The new menu which was just in place was great. We had mussels and chicken to start with followed by the pork and duck leg main course.That would have been enough but just had to try a dessert which was selection of ice cream and sorbet and a crème brûlée and coffee.A nice well kept beer went well too.If we didn’t live 200 miles away we would be there most weeks so the round trip will have to be once a month,it’s that good. I have never eaten better pastries than at the Bostock, both in East Linton and North Berwick. Everything is delicious - ignore bad reviews and try this place. The worst that will happen is you will become an addict like me which will cost you a small fortune!!

Wee visit to Hugo's Hall's Cafe. Lovely fresh environment and lovely friendly staff. Lovely slice of Victoria sponge and a glass of Irn Bru. Sponge was very yummy 😋
