Fantastic! Since new management took over has fantastically improved! Fantastic pints and cocktails! Barman was lovely. Would recommend pub quiz on a Wednesday. 10/10

After more than a year of going to this place, I finally made the best decision of my life: to never return. I experienced racism and arrogance from most of the staff. It was clear they don’t accept or respect people from different racial backgrounds. The environment was toxic, cold, and deeply uncomfortable. It’s sad that places like this still exist, but that’s life. I wish Ballencrieff and its staff all the best, even though my time there was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. All the best.

Great place to meet up with a large group of friends.

Staff was really friendly and nice. Went up to scotland during the heatwave and the rooms were really hot. The staff was really nice and gave us a fan in the room to cool ourselves down. They had a 15 year old resident cat named Magnus (not sure if I got his name right because he didn’t give me his name card 🤣) who stole my food when i wasn’t looking and requested for pets! The staff noticed and actually carried him back to the lobby but clever little Magnus actually took a long walk and came back to us to ask for pets and tried to steal my food again. The hotel was really clean. Will definitely be back to stay at this hotel when visiting Scotland.

Tuvimos el almuerzo para 4 personas y nos divertimos mucho! El personal era un poco lento para empezar, pero esto funcionó a nuestro favor al final porque no nos apresuramos a salir y probablemente podría haber sentado todo el día. La comida era increíble. Muy bien preparado y mucho por el dinero! Los cócteles eran deliciosos y un buen extra

Great experience! Last night my partner and I had dinner at this place and we really enjoyed it. Excellent welcome, the menu was explained to us well and despite our very basic English, we understood everything well thanks to the patience of the person who welcomed us. You can also order via the app. The place is really beautiful and the dishes are delicious! We can't wait to return to Scotland to return to you! Thanks for everything and see you soon! 😊

Para un buffet todo lo que se puede comer, esto fue muy bueno. Los cócteles estaban deliciosos. La comida parecía fresca y caliente. Un montón de cosas para elegir - indio, marisco, chino, postres. Estábamos absolutamente llenos después.

Had a day trip to Edinburgh today for a bit of shopping and the theatre, popped into this pub for some food, the food and the service were exceptional especially from Jack who could not have made us more welcome. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to Edinburgh. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
