The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in North Eastern NI

We had a beautiful Xmas lunch today at Berthas the food and service was excellent thanks to Lynn and all the staff for a wonderful afternoon from everyone at the Mussenden community group xx

Best wheaten scones anywhere, good value. Two scones and two teas £10.80. All members of staff are very friendly and welcoming. No dogs policy which is to be applauded and unusual these days. Superb views towards Slemish.

From booking with the lovely Louise and ringing her about questions for a birthday dinner for my brothers 30th was so kind and patient, and all the staff. But the food top class did not disappoint 11/10 , will most definitely be back.

Excellent fry....the big fry. Veggie roll, pork and steak sausages. Mushrooms etc etc. Efficient, friendly staff. Prompt service. The butchers is the best about.

Visited the Halt recently for a family meal out. The restaurant was quiet, service was adequate. Server was friendly and bar tender also friendly however when I visited the restaurants toilets I was very disappointed as they look as though they have not been cleaned in a very long time. Fake tan marks on toilet seat and feaces on the inner rim of the toilet and bins appeared not to have been emptied in a while and mirror filthy. Made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen this had put me off returning. Hopefully the team at the Halt will improve there cleaning skills as the food is good.

Took 13 mins to receive the drinks we ordered and we waiting 34 mins just for our starter (soup of the day) never received I canceled my order paid for our drinks and went elsewhere I remembered this place was great and it's really just gone to the dogs and the owner doesn't seem to care. Complained to the staff they just shrugged there shoulders very very disappointed!

Got a cappuccino and a brownie and a snickers near died of when it came to £11 very over priced does not really do much for kids not all children eat sandwiches and sausage rolls

Don't know what all the negatives reviews are about. Am in at least 4 times a week as I ow where everything is and can be out in a flash. Staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Yes there aren't many checkouts as mostly self scan now but, same as everywhere. Yes sometimes stock on offers is low but, they are a very small branch and keep low availability to enable them to stock a wide range of products.

I was shopping in Next today & decided to go for my usual coffee at Ground, which I’ve been doing on a weekly basis for years I needed to use the bathroom beforehand but when I tried to enter the toilets they were locked. A male server shouted over to me that they were for Ground customers only & they required a code to enter. As I started to explain, a female server came over to me & repeated that the toilets were for customer use only. I explained that I WAS a customer but needed to use the ladies before I ordered. As it was lunchtime there was a queue & I needed the toilet immediately, after which I would order. This female server abruptly said “you’ll get the code when you get your receipt!” I tried to explain that I needed the toilet there & then & before I could explain that I am registered disabled she walked off. I was shocked at this behaviour, very embarrassed & walked away. I walked around the mall to use the centre toilets & went into Cafe Nero where I was greeted & welcomed & enjoyed my coffee & cake. The behaviour of the staff in Ground was disgusting, discriminating & totally unacceptable. I will never use this cafe again & will be reporting their actions to the relevant agencies under the Disability Discrimination Act.

Went with a friend for breakfast . I had sourdough , black pudding and poached eggs It wasn’t on the menu but when I asked it wasn’t a problem . Very friendly young lady served us and we had a great chat . Great coffee and nice people . We will definitely be back . Thankyou ! 👍

Stood today for nearly 20 mins just to get two coffees which I didn’t get because hubby and I left as there were at least five people in front of us in this time I took in the surroundings and the cleanliness of which was very poor the light shades above the service counter where full of thick dust as was every light fitting in the place the naked bulbs were also covered in thick dust so we left and found somewhere else !! Staff should do a deep clean at least once a week no call for dust like that in a premises serving food

Mixed review this. A little disappointed that the wonderful lunches at their Galgorm restaurant were not on offer here but what was on offer was very nice but I think over priced for what it was. Service was a little slow but perhaps that was due to difficulty recruiting staff.

We called in at 3pm for a snack, there wasn’t anything left apart from a couple of sandwiches and a few bakes. This was fine, we found something that each of us liked. The table we sat at was filthy I had to clean it myself before using it and the station where the milk and sugar and bin is situated was disgusting. It had clearly not been cleaned in hours. The bin was overflowing and the station top was covered in rubbish.

I’m really upset with the service I received today. I approached the counter to order my coffee and a chocolate twist, and the girl who took my order was incredibly rude. She didn’t make us feel welcome at all and was rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. I tried to ignore it and walked away to wait for my order. Another girl made the coffee, and she was much more welcoming. However, after waiting another 5 minutes, we still hadn’t received the chocolate twist. I asked the same girl who took my order, and once again, I was met with an eye roll and no apology. The food was fine, but the service was really disappointing.
