My husband and I go to Oranmore Restaurant regularly the house itself is charming and the location is easy access to local attractions.
From the minute you walk in the front door the ambience is so relaxing and welcoming, the staff are friendly and very attentive. The food is consistently fantastic and it's definitely one of my favourite restaurants.
I'd highly recommend a private function or just a relaxing date night.
Oranmore definitely deserves a full five stars!

Do not leaving negative reviews but the fish and chips I got on the 19th May shortly after 4pm were awful. The 1½ fillets I got were left sitting on top of each other on their flat in the hotbox allowing the grease to run through them. Fish should be left sitting on its side to allow the grease to run off. The fish was not thick cod which you would expect for £9 but more like thin whiting fillets. The batter was overcooked and broke spart like egg shell laving the dry flesh of overcooked fish. The double wrapping was saturated in grease when opened. The chips were soggy with no taste what so ever. Both items where thrown in the bin. Nearly £14 wasted.never again. Take my advice and drive on through to Broughshane street Ballymena were you can get a good sized fillet of golden battered cod for £7.95. Left date and time so maybe it can be viewed on shop camera. Definately has gone down hill.
Couldnt fault food or service Everything was amazing Food pipeing hot Service exceptional There was 9 of us for dinner and the food was amazing value for money
I was very impressed by the vegetable broth I had here on a recent visit to the town. The sausage roll was also very good.
Extensive menu and popular with locals, shoppers and tourists.

Great food, staff very friendly and professional especially Reece,Danielle and Eve. Food is fresh, my husband has coeliac disease and staff catered for him well
My dog was soaked in oily sauce by a waitress at Market Square. Instead of showing concern, the staff laughed and mocked us in front of everyone.
When my raised her concerns, the owner dismissed her as "over-sensitive" and told us to leave. As Asian visitors, we felt deeply disrespected. If you expect basic respect and professionalism, avoid this place.
We dropped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning just as the cafe opened. Lovely service staff who told us that the scones would be ready in a few minutes. Breakfast was nice and the scones delicious, huge and fresh from the oven. We raved about them to the staff.
Just before we left one of the young service staff came over with a box that had two scones in it. She told us they were from the day before and if we’d like to have them for free. They were still very good but since they were baked the day before, they wouldn’t sell them since they only served freshly baked scones. We were so touched by this lovely gesture and enjoyed them in the evening in our hotel room (and they were delicious even then).
