Sandpiper in Coleraine

Omg I think the guys names were Harvey & Connor, they were amazing, so funny. Me and my partner went in for our anniversary drinks and anything we asked for they done. Thank you. Highly recommend !!!!!

We met Danielle at the start of the evening who met us with a great smile and welcome and poured us the best Guinness of the evening.

As a fussy so and so when eating out, I honestly couldn't fault the experience or food from start to finish. Attentive yet unintrusive but friendly waiting and bar staff. Great sized portions and a fabulous little menu! The Chicken Milanese was amazing 👌. Having eaten in many places around the world I am delighted to have this so near to home as there will be many visits. My advice, keep doing what you're doing 👏 oh the only thing missing, Pina Colada cocktails 😁. Special shout out to Amy, Harvey and Jude - being a virgo I don't give good reviews often or lightly, keep up the good work!

Had a fantastic meal at the sandpiper today, staff very helpful and attentive with our large group particularly Amy and Reece. Quick service amazing food and great location. Will definitely be back again.

Called in for quick bite to eat. Food was fantastic and we were well looked after by Amy and Reece. Would highly recommend.

A complete revelation! My husband and I have just eaten two courses off the Sunday menu and both meals were delicious. Portions were so big that neither of us could manage a dessert. Everything was piping hot and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The best part was the bill, which came to less than £45 including two pints. We will definitely be back!

What can I say, things have changed since last year! A big shout out to Jack and Reece at the bar (and anyone else we might have missed). You guys are always amazing whenever my partner and I come in! Unlike before, where you'd be told to grab a seat and then order, they now bring your drinks to the table (unless you're sitting right at the bar, of course). Better service now! We only just found out about the entertainment a few weeks ago, and we've been coming in every week since. Thanks again, and a shout out to Ricky Cochrane, the musician! You can find him on Facebook as well. Please promote it more! .... Lets not forget, Angus, the resident dog :)

order was wrong twice, food came dry and cold as left out and made out of the mistakes, main food came out before starters will never eat here again

Christmas dinner and a sizzling combo meal. Great food, both quality and portion size. Warm atmosphere and professional, attentive staff. If you own a dog, they're welcome too.

We have been dining at Sandpiper Coleraine since June this year and never had a bad meal. Last night 28th November 2023 was no exception. We availed of 2 course menu currently available. Choice Starter/Main or Main/ Dessert for £16. Excellent food served by friendly courteous efficient staff in very pleasant surroundings. Already looking forward to next visit. Highly recommend

The salmon and gnocchi was delicious. The staff were excellent, efficient and friendly. My friend and I had a bottle of Sauvignon blanc with our meal which complemented the meal. Highly recommend.

Great ambience food was very good for the price, unfortunately we had a terrible middle aged guy serving us who simply didn’t like his job and ruined our experience !

Came here after shopping nearby. Service was top notch by Amy. Had the Salmon with gnocchi and house burger both were cooked perfectly and Amy was able to accommodate dietary needs with NO fuss. Will certainly be returning and recommending.

So delighted and surprised by the quality of the food. Service was top notch Coleraine care. I would recommend the gorgeous risotto

2 families for dinner. Lots of choice on the menu and helpful staff. All meals were as ordered and very tasty. The ribs were more like the side of a pig, they were huge. Really good experience. Reece, Ellie and Nina (I hope I got the names right) were great. We will definitely be back.

I feel I have to address a few things apon going to the sandpiper recently. We ordered steak from the dinner menu M/R with garlic fries Cheese burger from the lunch menu with garlic fries with coleslaw Kids goujons with chips and peas The steak came well done and was really tough chips came instead of garlic fries and with that a random side of lettuce and balsamic vinegar The burger was fine garlic fries had a strange taste and the coleslaw was sour The kids meal was awful the chicken goujons where breaded in so much salt it was unedable the peas where marinated in something strange chips where fine We did complain and got our money back on the steak It's a shame really because it's a lovely place but the food really does need reviewing won't be back

Called in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and especially the service we got from the staff, in particular Amy...she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome...Will definitely be back...

The biggest thing I can take from the experience was the really rude member of staff. I asked my friends if their food was nice and it was but even they agreed. We were asked by a young female staff member if there was anything else we needed and we said no, she was really nice. However, one of my friends maybe 5 minutes later asked an older male staff member for sauces while we where at the table and he replied with “when your asked if you need anything else then that’s when you say it” - terrible. To add, I came in from having a smoke and asked at the bar for another pint of Guinness, the same male member of staff asked me to go back to my seat and that someone will be over, I only asked for a pint of Guinness not to order a round of drinks.
