Had a few Guinness and a craic in Wendy's. Friendly staff and locals. Visited on a Saturday afternoon and was quite busy

We went in looking for a pint and something to eat. The patrons all stared at us like we were from another planet but they seemed happy to see something other than the familiar faces of their mates. Then one of the old gents delivered an unintelligible string of words, and the rest laughed. We would have stayed but they didn't serve food. Great local color.

We recently ate at Wendy's pub while on vacation in Ireland. We were made to feel very welcome and the food was prepared perfectly. My mashed potatoes were wonderful. The owner said the potatoes came from her garden. If you want a real pub experience in a small setting this is it. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

A group of 3 of us had a lovely meal hear at Wendy's its proper pub grub and very reasonably priced. It's a quite a small place but everyone made us feel welcome and at home, there was also a log fire. Service was good food came out quickly and the waitress was very helpful in attending our needs. The Pub is a family run business and we had a few drinks with the locals and the family after our meal which we enjoyed.

We hadn't been in this restaurant for years. Called today and had French Toast, Bacon & Maple Syrup. Cost was £7. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient.

Service could be a lot better. Ambience poor. Menu basic. Food dry and tasteless. Surprised this is no 2 on tripadvisor.

We decided to have a chippy take out, our first in 3 months. Had two meals at a cost of £15, what a total waste of money. The chips were tasteless and the cod was all batter with very little fish that
