Ice cream done perfectly and wonderful for sitting by the sea and enjoying the view. Staff are very friendly and it’s great for a nice day out. 😀

Was in this afternoon, ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad today, for lunch . What I got bought down by waiter was burnt, was disgusting couldn’t t eat it .My mum had stew was cold also had to be sent back also. Very disappointed. No apology either. The chef came down tell me that’s how they cook it . Then when he took it away there was female senior member staff sitting just beside us with an older lady and two young kids asked him what’s wrong? She was tall blonde had her hair tied up in a bun. Very unprofessional and rude. The lady I. The Facebook page was her! No manners No apology either!! Chef told her and she replied very loudly and very rude that’s how we made it. Also was no Bacon in the salad either that was advertised which said in the menu. I won’t be buying lunch here again.a waste of money. £12.95 Not cheap either

Haven’t been to Morelli’s in ages. Always reminded me of being full of kids and messy or something... However, totally different that I thought… very organised and clean!! food was simple and very tasty. I had a crepe with chicken and cheese which came with a side salad, very very fresh and clearly made to order. Very reasonably priced! I shared it with my friend then we shared a sweet after which was perfect for early afternoon, not long after breakfast 😆 Americano coffee was lovely and service very quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back soon. Somewhere I don’t give a turn to enough. Thanks morellis!

Nice and friendly environment with amazing views and friendly staff and decent food. Only wished my Irish stew would have more Meat compared to potatoes, but it was a good price, so understandable. However wished my bread with the Irish stew was warm, it was a tad bit cold

Morelli's PORTSTEWART Morelli's.......lost it's appeal. 998369895 Made to feel unwelcome. The lady complained to another member of staff that the slice of cheese cake that I had chosen was much to big. The sausage roll was heated in the microwave and was inedible with the base being rock hard. Coffee was nice but plenty of choice of coffee shops in Portstewart and Morelli's will no longer

I haven’t been here for a while but it’s definitely going to be my new regular! The breakfast (Ulster Fry) was delicious & cooked to order! Free tea & filter coffee too. The staff are pleasant & helpful. I had my 2yr old with me & one of the staff immediately provided me with a high chair. Their ice cream is always a winner in our house. There’s no fuss here, just simple good food & good customer service ❤️

Not impressed I came at 20 to 9 just wanting a small ice cream and this young girl way blonde hair said there closed? When it clearly says on website they shut at 9 and they where serving costumers mins before and people sitting in don’t think that was very professional, if yous say yous aren’t shutting till 9 stick to that and not make me and my partner drive all the way up there and misleading people.

Always visit when I am in Portstewart. Food and ice cream are both great, however, the young female staff are extremely unwelcoming and constantly giving off judgemental glares. This happens every time I visit Morelli’s and it makes everyone in my group feel uncomfortable.

The staff were just fantastic. My elderly mother had a swallowing issue so can find it difficult to swallow but it hard foods. We were going to get stew and mash it up ourselves and the staff offered to blend it. It’s this reason the place is 5 stars. Thank you.

Great brand, great location but very overpriced

What a sweet place right on the front here. Took refuge from the stormy weather outside and we were well looked after. Friendly, very fast service. We had French toast/a cooked breakfast. The ice creams and cakes looked gorgeous but sadly we had no room!

The place has history and is a must visit if you’re in the port! Because of the popularity the weight to be served was long but other than that the portion size was great and I believe the price was good too. There’s a lot of topping options and it was just great to see.

A bit expensive sugar free vanilla not like ice cream at all!

Ice cream as always is good but food seemed mediocre at best. Soup and wheaten bread- watery vegetables, clearly fired together and no flavour whatsoever. I ordered a waffle and a scoop and was a little disappointed to find it was pre prepared and fired in the microwave. Surely it wouldn't take too much effort to make on spot. Morellis will always attract the masses come rain hail or shine for their ice cream but I will not be queueing up for anything else on their menu.

We stopped here after driving some of the Causeway Coastal Route and the ice cream was delicious! There were plenty of flavours to choose from (making it very hard to pick!) and they were really reasonably priced. The view out of the window was of the sea too so that was an added, beautiful bonus. Would definitely recommend a stop here, especially if you are doing the Coastal Road.

Loved my ice cream. I had a medium hazelnut scoop in a cone which was huge. I also had a cappuccino. No complaints about what we had, but the service was very odd to say the least. We were served at the counter and it really wasn't clear whether we would get a table or not as it was so busy. I felt we should have been able to find a table first then get served. Caused stress that was unnecessary.

I travel a lot that day. Went in Morelli's icream and got a lovely soup. The kitchen was closed but the guy brought a lovely soup. Well done to you. Incredible customer service.

Always pop in for an ice cream when in Port... But got an absolute beast of a slab of cheesecake today... Was so good... Banoffee pie was lovely too

Morelli's have been serving their customer with quality food for generations. Long may it continue.

Overcrowded, tables not cleaned quick enough for new guests to sit. Guy at the counter that served us ice cream had a cut on his finger with blood dripping down. I mentioned it and he just wiped it and continued. My father in law's cone had blood on it. He provided a new one, however, I felt "icky" eating bout cones and inspected the kids one to make sure no blood was on it. Afterwards, he didn't even put a band aid / plaster. I'm sure this is against some kind of regulation, but he was young and should have been better trained.

Got as long as I can remember, Morelli’s has always been one of the stars among ice-cream parlours.

I discovered a long human hair in my icecream cone and I would not recommend dining here.

Excellent ice cream, very enjoyable meals, in bright spacious family friendly surroundings, all provided by pleasant helpful staff. The sea view is an extra bonus.

Food is great, when you can get it. No hot food after 5 PM, the main time you would want it. On a previous visit the hot food had stopped at 3 PM, and another time they had stopped making pizza.

Absolutely delicious peppered chicken burger and chips. Followed by a take out ice cream. Morellis is my go to for a treat on the promenade. Highly recommend.

Update: it's still the best place for ice cream! We have to take the kids here for an ice cream sundae every year now (when we visit the North West coast of Ireland) it's become a family tradition :) nowhere else will do, the ice cream is delicious and there are a wide variety of flavours.

My wife and I came here for an ice cream Sunday. It was delicious and we were able to enjoy it with a fantastic view of the sea.

My husband and I went for salads yesterday at lunchtime and were very disappointed with them. The cold meat salad had been increased in price by £2 from last year and was a shadow of its former self. Gone were the cheese, peppers, sweetcorn, pasta salad, tomato, coleslaw, red onion and slice of wheaten bread and instead, just a bed of lettuce leaves served in a soup bowl rather than a plate with the chicken pieces, sliced ham and finely chopped pepperoni. The prawn salad has been removed from the menu and instead, i had a super salad. This was equally disappointing, no wheaten bread but poached egg on top of avocado, raspberries, dried apricots, dust of nuts and there were again just lettuce leaves below. We had really enjoyed Morelli's salads in the past but £24 for this offering will prevent us trying again.

This was the worst breakfast on our vacation. I got the short stack of pancakes. They were way way overcooked/dried out. The maple "flavored" syrup was not a plus. The back bacon was slightly burnt, yet the best part of the meal. I would not recommend this place. Being an American, I thought it was odd that you had to order at the counter with no wait staff other than food runners who don't ask you how you food is, so no real system to get your food remade. We only went here because the line at Awaken was on the long side. In hindsight I wish we would have waited for a table at Awaken.

We were served at the take away icecream counter, we ordered 3 wippy ice creams the girl serving us gave them to us wrapped in chip paper, we went to open them to give out and the ones came away from the icecream and the cones were broken. We stood there to ask for some help in getting them off the paper for a good 10 mins all the staff saw us and ignored us eventually a young man came never spoke just made 3 fresh one which tells me she knew what they were like … won’t be going back dreadfull service

Famous Italian ices, but expensive. Takeaway ices more reasonable. Coffee is good too and food reasonably priced, some Italian themed dishes.

Great tasting beautiful Italian ice cream in Ireland a flavour for every taste. I am sure everyone can find their favourites here. Beware of waiting a while it's a popular place for an ice cream but some things in life are worth waiting for.

Great cafe in Portstewart - happy staff & good food. Can get very busy though. Last time I went, I ordered a fry with no egg and it came within 5 minutes! Great service.

First rate ice cream and excellent service. I go around once a year when at the North Coast and no matter how busy it looks, I've never had an issue getting a table. The hot fudge sundae is my new go to after 40 years of knickerbocker glories. Both are delish 😋

Food, atmosphere and staff all excellent. The ice cream is widely regarded, you have to pay them a visit.

Wonderful choice of ice-cream flavours available, all delicious. The toasted specials and desserts were nicely presented and filling. Service isn’t the fastest both the wait was worthwhile, except for the vegetable soup. That was it water with lumps of veg thrown in. The place was bright, welcoming and the staff were cheerful.

Ten pounds for an ice-cream which really didn't have anything majorly special about it. Nice place to sit and chat but far too expensive.

The litter blithely discarded by the other patrons put a bit of a blight on our experience. How can people be so oblivious and thoughtless in such a beautiful setting. Signed, Disgusted of Dervock.

Normally, I would rate it 3 or 4 stars. However, today, whenever I got cheesecake, the cream on top was definitely off. To be honest, I'm very disappointed because I normally look forward to a treat here. The second photo shows where I scraped off the out of date cream.

We were in Morelli's on Dec 26. Can't speak highly enough of our experience. Food was quick, good standard. It was busy and tables were cleaned immediately. It was impressive! Big shout out to everyone who worked that day!

Called in for coffee and scone. Handed three staff four dirty knives with jam on them from the cutlery drawer. Also witnessed another customer returning a dirty cup. At no time did staff apologise. Morelli's definitely isn't what it used to be. Won't be back. More to do with how the staff behaved.

We all know Morelli's is the go to place in Portstewart for ice cream. But it wasn't icecream I was looking for last Sunday nite, we had been out with the dogs and got caught in one of our lovely Northern Irish monsoons, so we were all soaked to the skin and badly needing a caffeine hit. I couldn't believe as we approached Morelli's that they were still open and more amazingly there was a parking space right out the front, the coffee God was definitely smiling on us. We didn't realise at the time that the staff were starting to close the place up for the night. We had coffees, hot food and sticky buns, the staff couldn't do enough for us, now this could have been because they wanted to go home, but i don't think so. I have to give the staff a 10 out of 10 for effort and their friendly attitude esp after being on their feet all day.. Thanks folks, I really appreciated it..

In Questo take away si mangia bene abbiamo ordinato fish e chips e abbiamo preso delle pizze. Una Margherita e una 5 stelle. Le pizze erano buonissime e il pizzaiolo è Napoletano e con questo ho detto tutto. Il servizio è stato veloce. Insomma tutto perfetto meritano più di 5 stelle.

A truly horrendous experience. My order was lost when I asked why it was taking so long. I was then short changed in the refund. The staff were clueless. I will never be back.
