First time I've eat here and won't be the last. Plentiful menu with a good selection to suit most tastes and requirements. I opted for the tradition Ulster Fry - it was first class. The ingredients were top quality and beautifully prepared. It's not often I get impressed with an Ulster Fry - but I did today. Staff were very efficient and pleasant and the meal very reasonably priced. I live quite local so I will definitely be going back. I also work as a local tour guide so I can certainly stand over any future recommendations required from my guests. Good Job Market Square !!
Not what I expected to find in the middle of Carrick! A good coffee shop with an urban farm! Grabbed a coffee then went and looked at some goat and rabbits. Great place to bring a family for a coffee or drink
Went here today for a family occasion.
There were 8 of us and everything was absolutely perfect …. No hiccups whatsoever. Food was lovely well presented and warm ……these guys could show other establishments how it’s meant to be done . Everyone had dessert and again absolutely delicious. …. Would definitely e back . As for pricing it was fair enough as we had a 10%off voucher which made it even better. Highly recommend a visit

Regular weekly customer here for almost a whole year and while the food is usually top notch, I've not been back since the menu was limited to only large loaded fries unfortunately (bit disappointed to he honest, couldn't eat a large one after a recent illness).
The staff that work here are always very pleasant and I'd recommend it for those that still have a large appetite.

A bit disappointed to say the least. Drove our motorhome all the way to stay in Carrick Dhu site and arrived just after 7pm. After parking and setting up, my husband walked round to get a chippy as google said it was open until 9pm. He left around 8pm to head to the chippy and an hour later he wasnt back so I just assumed he was in a queue and as it was a large camp site, it was probably pretty busy. He had also left his phone. After an hour and 20mins I decided to walk the dogs to find him and noticed the chippy was closed and to find out that hubby had walked all the way into town to get us one and walked back. He loves to walk so that was okay, but what an inconvenience, if Google was updated then a simple google search could have told us it was closed and we could have arranged something else. We were so hungry after the drive as we we were so looking forward to this one at Jenos Place after all the reviews.
Large hot choc was average in size. Brownie was small and thin. I bought for ravenous husband. Good size for a child. Tasted good. Was told the brownies are home made hence the thin squashed look. Im very familiar with home made brownies. They dont look like these. Anyway, nice that they were open as we were desperate and husband felt better after eating.
What a fun fabulous quirky eating experience. In a bus with a wolf. Great food fantastic atmosphere and such a great couple who owned the cafe. Food was freshly cooked to order and delicious large sized portions and delicious. A great place for a meal. Definitely will be returning.
There's truly not a better place for a truly great breakfast/brunch - cooked the way you ask (they REALLY DO know how to do eggs 'over medium' ), served with style, and waited on by an attentive staff who always makes sure your coffee cup is filled if that's what you need. :-). Worth the wait !
