Despite the good rating of this place, we were made very unwelcome. The hostess was rude and very dismissive. She skipped us twice and told my husband she did not see him (we are talking about a 6'3 foot tall man standing infront of the line). The server was very knowledgeable, but the food runner came out with the food and just stared us down. We asked for ketchup, and we never received it until we told the manager about it a second time. This is by far the worst restaurant experience i have ever had. I would not recommend it.

AMAZING! The food is exceptionally fresh and delicious. A favorite for my husband and I. Never disappoints.

I know everyone loves it, but it's just not for me. My review won't hurt them because everyone else loves it and flips out on my husband and I when we say it's just not for us.

Wonderful. A nice change from ordinary. Fresh fresh food with a great variety of choices. Fresh juice and good coffee with a choice of coffee flavors. Delicious food. So dang good.

Really delicious almost art like food and great service from the staff. Had a great brunch, 15 min wait time but for the food we got and the time of day we went in was definitely not bad. Only complaints are the other customers. It gave a very judgemental/snooty vibe especially towards more tattooed/younger crowd. Would come again for the food/service would think twice about crowd though.

Stopped here while on a road trip from Illinois to Maine. Place was busy on a Wednesday late morning, yet everything went pretty smoothly. We were seated outside,our table was in a gazebo-like netted area, like all the other outdoor tables, which I think helped with the slightly windy weather. And it made it feel more private. Unlike maybe stops before, coffee was actually hot- hooray! Food was good. Thanks!

Apparently, this location is very busy. My wife & I visited yesterday. We were told that the waiting time was approximately 1.5 hours, so we decided to try another time. Apparently, it's better to call or book via website. The menu looks delicious.

Long wait time but worth it! I tried the blueberry doughnut and omelette do jur, it was delicious! Very fresh food and tasty 10/10

The service was fabulous, we felt very welcomed & our server was very attentive. The food however was less than desirable. It all looks very appealing but it was pretty bland we were very disappointed after wanting to try this place for a while.

This is one of the best breakfast spots in all of New England. The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly world-class. The service is exceptional. Highly recommend!

What a great experience, the farm to table food was phenomenal, service was good. Outdoor seating was great.

Our waiter forgot about us and avoided our table so we waited a hour to order after having a reservation while people who sat long after us with the same waiter already had their meals and checks. Seating was horrible and people were walking through a small space between our table and the wall. So it was super uncomfortable. Food was bland. I would not recommend to anyone or return here.

We had a great time, the vibe was amazing, Lorenzo, Jess && Sharron was amazing && Funnn ! Food and Dranks 10/10 ! We shall return <3 ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

EDIT**** After writing this review, one of the managers reached out to us and invited us back. Today, we visited this restaurant again and our experience was much better. We had two delicious meals (the stonehill) as well as the delicious chocolate croissant. The meals were brought out quickly and our waitress was wonderful. Overall it was an incredible experience and we were glad that we gave the farmers daughter another shot. The food was delicious! We greatly appreciate the quick response from the manager regarding our initial experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I love how the food is all local. It’s hard to find a place that doesn’t cook with seed oils and uses local ingredients. That being said, it is a very busy restaurant. This morning we waited a little less than an hour for a table (no big deal, we did stuff in the mean time). When we received the text informing us that our table was ready, we headed to the host stand. We were standing close by and three men jumped in front of us and the host did not say anything but took the right ahead in front of us. We didn’t think much of it because we were just happy to get a table after. When we sat down it took us 50 minutes after ordering to get our food. The restaurant was incredibly busy and pretty overwhelmingly loud with the amount of people in a small area. I didn’t love the fact that as we waited 50 minutes for our food our waitress was nowhere in sight to give us updates. I know the restaurant is busy, but waiting that long and having no communication was a little frustrating. We got the chicken and waffles and French toast. I have been to the farmers daughter a few times and have to say they do better with their savory items in comparison to their French toast and pancakes. While their food is locally sourced, I do think over $20 for French toast is pretty expensive for how they tasted. On the other hand, the chicken and waffles were very good. Overall I’m hesitant to go back. The food is expensive and smaller portions. I would try if you haven’t already but have what was previously mentioned in mind prior.

This place is amazing! Chrissy was wonderful and accommodating to my gluten allergy. She recommended the GF french toast and it was absolutely delicious. 🤩🙌🏼

I used to rave about the food here but the last couple times, I've found that it has gotten so much more expensive for mediocre food. And after the service today, will probably go elsewhere. The hostess told us it would be a 5 min wait outside or 15 minutes inside. Despite the hot weather we chose outside seeing 3 empty tables. Other patrons (white) walk up and we see the hostess seat them ahead of us. When we asked her, she said she thought we wanted inside. After a few more minutes, she finally set us up but she was rude and dismissive. We waited a few more minutes but since no one came to serve us, we left. The staff has always been kind of curt but today I couldn't help think it was because of our color.

This was one of my favorite places in Easton. When I reviewed it 6 years ago I gave everything 5 stars. But these last visits have been horrid. Rude staff and just plain unwelcoming. It's like they actively didn't want us to dine there. After a rude experience there today we didn't even bother ordering; we just left. Not like it would have mattered since the wait staff was ignoring us while we sat there waiting.

Aww, man, the food here is great. The French toast 😋 is absolutely the best I've ever had. This spot is small but inviting. The wait staff could smile a bit more. They seem stressed. Although Nicole was very pleasant. It was a bit on the expensive side. My bill was 107 for 2 pp

Very expensive, $40.00 per person for lunch with only soda and iced tea, no drinks. Burger didn’t taste good and made me feel ill.

Great place! 30 minute wait for inside, but no wait for the outside. (It had just rained.) We were seated outside, and the coffee was excellent. (Picture shown below.) The food was amazing, and I recommend the Eggs Benedict, which was flavorful and tasty. The service was also excellent due to them finding us a table inside during the rain, in which was a very kind gesture. Overall amazing place and very comfortable atmosphere. Definitely will go again.

The customer service I received here on the fourth of July is a shame and disgraceful. I am starting to think the staff don't like to serve people of color. This will be my last time visiting this location.

The food was amazing! I highly recommend! The wait was a bit long but I would say it was worth it. If I am ever in the area I will stop by again.

I am super picky and I try all types of restaurants. Kudos to the staff at Farmer's Daughter great experience. Check them out p.s. my Mom & Dad enjoyed too!

I went with my daughter and 2 year old grandson. We had the most delicious breakfast. They even have a metal lunch box filled with little toys and books to keep little ones busy while they wait!!!!

Absolutely delicious food, personable and friendly staff and clean modern farmhouse atmosphere. We ordered a hot honey chicken Sammie with smashed potatoes and a farmers breakfast - 10/10. To drink I’d recommend tye iced cold brew coffee with caramel and cream on the side. My partner also enjoyed a mimosa - everything is so fresh and the portions are large.

The brunch was amazing, especially the chicken & waffle Benedict. Good portions and service, noisy inside but perfect outside. We will come back.

The service was excellent. They only had one larger booth that seats 7 and we ended up having 10 in our party. We made it work, but it was a tight squeeze. The food was good. The pancakes were a bit doughy/undercooked, though.

I’m shocked their prices have gone up in the last few months or so.. they were very expensive to begin with but were delicious. it seems the food quality has gone down while the prices go up. this was always a treat for me, but now they are no better than your average breakfast spot. Service is always great. i’m not sure id return given the price & quality of food.

This places is has a attitude towards black people, they refused to give us a table after making us wait for over 2 hours, the attendant had attitude and made us feel un welcome

Super great place for food! Wait time is normally really long though so I’d recommend coming early because they don’t take reservations. Dine in is much better than take out here but the food is really delicious overall.

We went to Massachusetts to visit and TFD was what came up on our search. We were super impressed with the food and drinks. Our server Gina, was very informative not only about all the food and drinks but gave us information about the area and places to visit. The entire staff were all pleasant. Would definitely visit again when we are back up there.

Carrot cake donuts were great but the omellete I got was mid..also had to wait over an hour to be seated. Good atmosphere. Pricey

Ordered pick up Order was 20 minute late and that’s alright they were busy so we just circled back but the food…. What happened?? This place used to be sooo good! Over salted to the inedible point both the burger and the chicken waffle where over cooked and super salty chicken as dry as it gets and bacon burned Idk why they would still serve it we would have waiting longer if needed Disappointed to say the least

I’ve eaten here once before and attempted to eat there a second time. The second time we were told by an older woman, who was not very friendly, that there was a 2hr wait. My party waited the 2 hrs with no update and I decided to ask for a status update. The same lady told me we still had an hour wait despite waiting two hours. She was very condescending in her response when I confirmed that we had an additional hour wait after already waiting 2 hours. The food is good but not good enough to wait 3 hours and deal with rude hostesses. We wound up eating elsewhere.

Made reservations late night the night before. Was greeted and promptly seated when we arrived. They accommodated our special needs grandson amazingly! The food was absolutely stunning and the atmosphere was beautiful. Even in a smaller space it never seemed crowded or too loud. I love the back wall where you can read where they source all of their local ingredients! Don't miss this gem if you are in thr area!

Nestled in the heart of the charming, historic town where I went to high school lies "The Farmer’s Daughter." With its cozy atmosphere and simple decor, it's the perfect spot to start the day. The menu boasts locally sourced ingredients and a variety of mouthwatering breakfast options. I chose the omelette of the day, which was delicious. As I sipped on my freshly squeezed juice, I couldn’t help but reminisce about walking through downtown in the days of my youth.

Always a wonderful experience, if not a little crowded. Food is excellent, as is the service.

This is the best and most special restaurant you will find on the South Shore of Massachusetts! The care they take with every dish and the way they genuinely care for your experience there. Go go go! Thank you thank you thank you! I also threw my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary there, and it could not be a better place to have a special gathering.

The Farmer's Choice was really good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and crispy smashed potatoes tasted great. The Brioche French Toast Square was also great. This is definitely a must visit for breakfast fare.

As a local, Ive been coming here since they opened. Always top notch service, ingredients and atmosphere.. the staff all work very hard to bring a higher experience. Including staying after they’re technically closed to let people finish at will. The prices reflect a local farm like fresh menu, so yes its a tad higher than your average breakfast/brunch joint. Also! dont forget about the craft cocktails and coffees. pro-tip : park in the back lot and walk up thru the walkway.

My fiancé and I came for brunch to celebrate my birthday. Our entire experience from first calling to walking out the door was entirely amazing and I felt incredibly special. Our server, Nicole, was outstanding and offered great suggestions. We’ve been patrons for years and have never had a bad meal here, but they truly knocked it out of the park today (as they always do!!)

Gina and Lorenzo took great care of us! We had a cute booth by the window, the decor is beautiful, and the food was outstanding. We had their fantastic bennies and hot honey chicken sami.

Delicious and want to go back and try other items. They serve breakfast and lunch and it looks like they have tons and tons of delicious boozy drinks. The restaurant is in an old part of town that's been fixed up that's very pleasant and there's some other nice restaurants around there too plenty of street parking handicap space right in front lots of sunlight. Street parking is for 1 hour and is free if you're going to stay longer you can walk about a block back and there's a big public lot you can park in as well.

For starters I have a toddler , they have a lunch box filled with miscellaneous toys,books,flashcards,magna tiles , I have never seen this anywhere, it definitely helped for entertainment. The food was all delicious and fresh , so many flavors well combined. I had a blueberry pancake perfectly crispy on the edges and moist and fluffy in the center. It didn't just taste like a pancake it was a delicious dessert . The chicken sandwich juicy flavorful perfect presentation. The chicken and waffles benni was amazing as well , creamy flavorful . Over all we were extremely satisfied.

This place never disappoints. I had to take 1 star off because there’s always over an hour wait and they don’t take reservations but if you are willing to wait you won’t be disappointed. Food is always on point and service is great too! We love going there for a nice brunch on Sundays.

I visited on Saturday at 9 am with two friends. We ordered the Frittata, Waffle and Chicken Benedict, and the special Prosciutto Benedict. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and we especially enjoyed the handmade green spicy sauce! The coffee was just right! Our server was a middle-aged woman who was well-disciplined, attentive, and kind.

The food is fantastic and this is definitely the top spot for brunch in the area. Because of this though the waits can be insane. We live down the road and have not been as much as we like because of the very long waits. Waits can be 2+ hours so be prepared. Lastly servers and the hostess sometimes will act as if you are a burden especially if you are bringing in your kids. I think sometimes they forget they are located in the suburbs who almost everyone has children that is coming in. This is not the case every time but sometimes services can be rude and short with you for no reason. Overall it’s a fantastic spot and we are lucky to have it in town. Just wish waits would be shorter which is not their fault and that service can be more friendly consistently.

My dentist referred this place to me as a nice place to eat. They had a few selections which were alright. Tried the Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage( basically non existent) and sweet potatoes. First the dish came out warm, again looking for the turkey, bread base was too soft and not too much taste. Unfortunately not impressed..but won't tell my dentist.

What a charming place. Our waiter Lorenzo could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. We arrived shortly before closing and there was no rush to move us along. The food was amazing. It was a great meet up place for our family coming from north and south of the area. If you are ever in the vicinity be sure to stop in. You will not be disappointed.

We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children. A woman entered after me and hostess told her it was OK that members of her party of 4 were arriving late, that there was plenty of room and she didn't have to wait. I was told there was not enough room for 7 and that our wait time would be 1 hour and a half to possibly longer. I said we would take 2 tables instead because children were hungry. She said she didn't recccommend it and would not do it. So our party of seven decided to wait outside and discuss why 12 people after us arrived and were seated. Next to window was a table with plenty of room for all of us and they seated 2 there. My daughter was told they could not seat us unless someone stood up to leave. They finally found a table same size as one by window in the back after only 30 minutes. We ordered and spent $250.00 for our breakfast. The food was great but the hostess was horrendous and just plain rude. I'm sure they have plenty of business from locals and don't want out of towners. Thank goodness someone in our party worked in the industry and was able to turn things around so we could eat there instead of traveling to another spot 30 minutes away.

Great food! Took my kids with me to check it out. We had tried a couple times to get in for breakfast but they were really busy and we couldn't get a table. Decided this time to go right when they open. SO glad we did! The menu is unique and food was fantastic. We will be back!

Felt like with a name like the farmers daughter it wouldn't be so upscale but it was so fricken uppity don't think u can go there and be normal because people are putting their cloth napkins on their laps like they are the king and queens of fricken england looking at you like your not from here don't be here horrible feeling but good food

Well I’ve officially realized that the Phantom Gourmet taste is in their shoes. This is the second time I’ve gone to a place they recommended. Let’s talk about the smashed potato hash brown. I’m thinking something different. It’s pushed or smashed red bliss potatoes dry and unseasoned, the French toast is absolutely disgusting. The orange zest out powers the vanilla and it tastes gross. But what they do have is a great staff and a very nice atmosphere. I won’t return there again.

I WISH I COULD EXPLAIN HOW GOOD THIS REALLY IS!! Me and my (future) husband enjoyed our valentines brunch here. This was his first time, my third. The wait will always be worth it for the food. The flavor, the plating, the quality, THE EVERYTHING. Truly have never been able to find brunch better than this. Props to the chef and the team at The Farmers Daughter. I've been here a few times and finally decided to drop my review. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for something different and delicious. Weekdays are easier to get a table without long wait. On the weekends the wait time can be pretty long especially if you have a big party, however might be worth the wait. The food is excellent and so are the cocktails. This time I tried the Warm French Toast Martini, a warm cocktail, it tasted soooo good. My daughter had the pancakes which was delicious as always. I had Hold The Yolks Omelet it was good as well. I would highly recommend visiting this place.

Hello !! We absolutely loved the food !!! I wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere but next time I’ll sit by the bar. I found the chairs truly uncomfortable & literally thought they bought these so people wouldn’t camp. Very smart !! The coffee mugs need to go & I shouldn’t have to tell you why, try drinking the coffee out of them. It didn’t phase me for I drank enough at home before we went. Lisa was our waitress, she was personable & yet professional. She’s born to be good at this job. The scone she explained & we got it, lovely to try , I’d put more sauce on it. I got the waffle Chicken Benedict thing on her recommendation, for it’s def not my thing but oh was it awesome. Every ingredient perfectly cooked & literally complimented each other. I have no idea what my friend got for I split mine immediately & said you need to eat this, take yours home. We got the virgin Mary’s & yummy !!! Lisa was truly top notch & we shall return !!
