This was the first time ordering from here and we didn’t regret it. It was the nicest meal we have had in a long time. The customer service was amazing too when I rang about something I forgot to order.

Ordered online for the first time. Service, quality of the food was brilliant. The only thing that stops me from giving them 5 stars is that they forgot the rice from my order

Food came on time however app said it had been out for delivery for over 25 minutes. when food arrived the food was cold

I wouldn't risk it. I haven't been but I watched from my kitchen as one of the workers came out of the kitchen and started swigging from beer he'd hidden behind the trash in the back trash space.

First time at Sanjha and a pleasure surprise. Beautiful restaurant inside, very kind and attentive staffs. Food really good, I would ho back and I recommend 100%.

We ordered the chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, coconut pilau rice and peshwari naan.. all beautiful, especially the peshwari naan! The order arrived with two dips and two poppadoms as well. Would definitely recommend ordering from here.

Disgusting. Ordered £40 worth of food and i couldn’t even eat it. The tikka masala was BRIGHT pink as if it had food colouring added to it. The korma was BRIGHT yellow aswell and both were like tap water and tasted of pure sugar! The chips was greasy. I honestly do not know how this place has any good reviews obviously some people have bad taste buds! Save you’re money and do not order from here the Indian from Tesco supermarket is actually better and that’s saying something.

Ready quickly, chicken biryani and tikka masala was absolutely fantastic. One of the best biryanis I’ve had!

I celebrated my birthday with family, friends and neighbours this evening at Sanjha Restaurant in Ballymena. As usual, the customer service and quality of food was excellent. The management and team at Sanjha restaurant really understand how to make their guests feel welcomed. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys North Indian cuisine and appreciates genuine cuisine service. 5/5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Considering all the negative reviews I tried this place but did tell the husband to not take it if the food was cold. My order came and it was nice, can't really say anything bar about it to be fair, I was scared to order from this place just because of the reviews.

Excellent service and food is top class

Very enjoyable meal , almost a fusion type restaurant. Honey chilli chicken starters was immense and thoroughly enjoyed my curry. Lots of choices on menu definitely worth a visit .

I rang Sanjay restaurant to ask about the 1 hr 45 min wait and after the manager kept saying it’ll be 5 -10 mins later he hung up on me in mid conversation!! Rude man who is either manager or owner

Had a very pleasant dining experience with the work colleagues last week in the Sanjha Indian restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for you and a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Clean, delicious food and great craic with friends. Will definitely be back.

As a family we have dined in and taken take season numerous occass ions and always without fail been extremely satisfied with the quality of food, attention to the customer and lovely atmosphere. This restaurant is the best in Co. Antrim if not N. Ireland. And not to be beaten in Dublin or Galway in our experience. Thanks for your lovely meals and please continue as you are doing everything so well.

Monday teatime. Very quite and little atmosphere. Food very good with free poppadoms and chutneys.

The food was lukewarm when delivered almost half an hour after the latest time quoted which was an hour and 40 minutes, totally unacceptable for a home delivery, even at a busy time. I certainly won’t be recommending or using this restaurant again.

I got a popadom and chutney delivered which I never ordered and it was really good. The lamb was so tender and the spice/heat was perfect it was 10/10. It was to be delivered 20:55 and was exactly 20:55 when it arrived

Had a delivery tonight I’ve tried ringing multiple times to no avail needless to say I won’t be ordering from here again almost 8 quid for two prawns is a bit far fetched

I enjoy the curry from here but there is definitely a structural issue in how the delivery side of the business functions. It is consistently late, and I think I'm now at the point where I'll take a break from Sanjha. The staff themselves are really nice and apologetic and I've nothing against anyone there, but there must be a problem in the design of their system.

I use to love this place but now it seems its going down hill, I ordered chicken tikka masala 2x saffron pilau rice and 2 poppadoms which came to near £22. The rice wasn't pilau rice at all more like boiled rice, the curry itself was nice so imagine eating a nice curry with sloppy boiled rice😬 also how can you burn a poppadoms??? Who ever is cooking this food needs to be changed, this place was once a lovely place to eat from, I use to always order from this place but I noticed a big change in the food as well as the prices too.... don't think I will be ordering from here any more which it is a shame as it use to be so good yet not that nice at all now.

the good point was the food when it came was excellent the very very bad point was the delivery delivery rang me saying he couldn't find my address I tried to explain where I was he got extremely rude and swore his language was shocking and he told me I wouldn't be getting my food I rang the restaurant and the manager sorted it quickly and sent new food with new driver who was very nice and couldn't apologise enough

Delicious as always 😋 A wee bit overpriced but ok for a treat now and then. Would get one more often if i could afford it. Overall did not disappoint. Yummy 👏 👌🤩

The food was absolutely horrendous. Both tikka masalas were not nice at all. The masala chips were also disgusting, soggy and awful. Most of the £30 order will be binned! Terrible food! 100% sanjha is the worst indian takeaway in the area, so well done on that! The rice and poppadoms were fine, but in reality how could you mess up rice or poppadoms.

Dreadful service, long wait for luke warm main course's.

First time ever disappointed, went today and waiter got our entire order wrong twice and three people took our order unbelievable and waited for rice for a long time and COLD rice was served and this could have been a case of food poisoning as there were children with us. And when paying they charged us with popadoms we never ate. Ruined our evening ! VERY DISAPPOINTED ☹️

Absolutely disappointed we went there to celebrate new year's eve with family and friend The person served us curry without rice by the time rice came curry was cold and we got served cold rice wen we told waiter no apology was made by him instead he stormed off Owner or manager didn't even apologised to us instead give us a bill with stuff we didn't even got we felt so discrimination he was treating other customers with us he was so cold and no apologetic at all .we left place just because we didn't want to ruine others new year's eve but this restaurant is a shame no way treating customers like this stay well away from this place we'll never be back there you ruined our night

Visited Sanjha after some time and it was worthy. Tasty food, pleasant atmosphere and good service. Prices was slightly higher but reasonable.

Delivery driver drove over front lawn and didn’t hesitate to drive on. Poor reflection of drivers ability.

This place is absolutely frigging awesome 👌 the only Indian in the whole of the wider Ballymena / Antrim / Newtownabbey area that I even consider. Immaculately clean and with the friendliness of a local shop.

Sent the wrong sauce, food was freezing. Rang restaurant with no attempt to resolve it at all tonight- said they would send a free tikka next time. Lol there won't be a next time

The food was beautiful, especially the Lamb.

Forgot the rice, when it did arrive and I opened the food the smell hit me the meat was off absolutely disgusting. Had to bin the lot!!! Used to love this place and get from it regularly my last orders haven’t been great and this one now has confirmed I will no longer be ordering again. Very disappointing!!

Amazing and authentic food! I was craving for a real Indian Biryani all the way out in Antrim cost, this was 35 mins drive but went in anyway. Amazing food and the service assistant at the till was also helpful in confirming it’s halal and also very nice. The biryani was authentic and had fried onions and coriander etc unlike some fake ones around :)

This was my first time to eat from Sanjha restaurant, I ordered a chicken vindaloo, pillar rice and garlic naan. Along with my order they added 4 poppadoms and 2 tubes off sauce 1 mint and 1other. The food was excellent and I would recommend this Indian restaurant, I will be going back and hope to have a sit down meal. I have been back for a sit down meal with my family, and we were not disappointed. The staff are friendly efficient and have a very good and knowledge of the food on the menu and will recommend what to eat if you are not sure. Kumar the owner is usually there and very helpful.

Food was disappointing, portions very small and meat was tough. Expensive for what it was.

25 minutes late after telling us it was ready to collect, tiny portions, tough meat, sauce pots not labelled so not sure what we were eating, abysmal. 75 quid for 3 mains and some sides, would not order again.

Worst takeaway I've ever had, extremely poor value for money, small portion sizes, badly labelled, overcooked dry lamb, and collection time 25 minutes over advised time. Will never again purchase from this restaurant

Banging food. If you’ve got more of an authentic palette then beware of how sugary the curries are, especially butter chicken. Some interesting items on the menu like mushroom puri. The dum biryani is a must try. Good interiors and clean.

Restaurant was quite busy but there was just one member of staff waiting on tables. She did her best but really needed help. Most Indian restaurants we've been to (including the other one in town) provide complimentary poppadoms but Sanjha do not. A bit mean, particularly as we discovered after leaving the restaurant we'd been overcharged by £4. The food was OK but portions were small. Overall would not go back.

Really unimpressed.. Went here as it was recommended. Biyrani was like eating mint and cinnamon defo. I never tasted one like this in my life seasoned, completely incorrect. The rogan josh tasted like lamb pieces in tomato soup. The sides were nice though the rice and Nan

Had a 2hr wait on food, the service was terrible some people had their meal nearly finished before others were served. Expensive for what it was six pieces of meat swimming in some soup.

The food was just okay but for the 3rd time in a row by order has been wrong - they missed out entire meals on two occasions and gave me the wrong side orders on the other occasion. I checked my order before leaving the 3rd time given what had happened previously and the staff weren’t particularly apologetic. Having to wait for the missing meal to cooked meant I was waiting for longer. I find it hard to understand how staff get orders wrong so often…they weren’t even big orders. I wouldn’t particularly recommend based on service.

Good food let down by poor staff and organisation. Waited 10 minutes without seeing any staff. Had to walk INTO the kitchens to make sure they were open and ask to be seated. Ordered a jug of water got a glass. Went to the bar to ask for a jug but the person behind the bar "didn't work there" but got me a jug anyway.... Ordered the kids meal first and asked for it to come out first to keep the kids happy. Arrived after adults. No chicken tikka which to me is a staple for an Indian restaurant. Poppadoms arrived without onions notwithstanding I asked to make sure onions were with it as it's on the menu and we had same issues before. Kids masala arrived with chips notwithstanding we ordered rice. Was told by staff kids meals all come with chips and I confirmed that we were regulars and their kids menu has the option of rice or chips. Wife's onion bahjee starter came with 1 bahjee and 1 spring roll instead of two bahjees... Ordered two naans and they kept the burnt one underneath. Had to ask for a plate for my wife when they arrived without one.... Had to take cutlery from table next to me when they didn't give another knife and fork after the starter. Had I not been before I wouldn't be back....saving grace was...and always is...the young redhead waitress who is constantly working and checking on the table. Good with kids too. Staff need a shake.

The Butter Chicken is tasty enough, but the Prawn Malai Curry lacked much flavour and almost £14 for a dish of sauce with only FOUR overcooked prawns is something we’ll not be purchasing again. Add to that the delivery being over 20 mins late and overall a very disappointing experience.

Went in to order a takeaway at the beginning of the week, I ordered 2 saag aloo/Dhab with 2 naan bread, the saag had no potatoes, no cheese & no spinach. Only had chick peas & some dodgy sauce. It was disgusting & even the nasn bread was burnt. Definitely won't be back.

Ridiculously over priced.... The food portions were extremely less. The quality of food was average. Food was served after one and half hours 🙃🙃🙃🙃 Difficult to find parking at peak hours

Ordered online on Monday 2nd Jan for delivery on 2nd jan, order didn't seem to go through so phoned sanjha directly (they informed me they weren't doing deliveries on 2nd Jan), so we ordered with another place. The following evening (3rd Jan) the sanjha delivered the order and I've been charged for it. So basically they delivered 24hrs later!

First time ordering and will be our last....wouldn't even accept food from the driver/owner as the food was cold and the chips were mushy. Have requested a refund so I hope we get it. Absolute shambles of a place.
