Bushes Home Bakery in Antrim

Lovely staff and great products. I Have put on a lot of weight recently but can't figure out how🤔. I'm not saying that it's the bread/buns/savoury treats from Bushes but it might be something?

Fabulous bakery with delicious products! The sausage rolls were the best we have tasted (and that is REALLY saying something for my husband to say that as he has tried them anywhere in the world he has found them!) The shortbread cookies are amazing and we havent tried the mince pies yet but Im sure that they will be equally as delicious! I also love the fact that they encourage cash and not credit/debit purchases. We absolutely need to support these family run, local businesses with our cash purchases so that they can open their doors each day, turn a profit and stay in business. And to also keep any possibility of digital currency from taking over our lives and how and where we spend OUR money! Im just sorry that we didnt discover this wonderful shop much much sooner!

Fabulous bakery! The sausage rolls were probably the best we’ve ever had> Loved the shortbread cookies and havent tried the mince pies yet but Im sure they’ll be equally as amazing! Also love the fact that they happily accept cash. We absolutely need to 100% support these family run businesses with our cash purchases , so that they can continue to operate and keep their doors open. I will drive farther to support them as much as we can. They deserve our business ...

This bakery right here has made one of the best bakeries I have ever tried in my life. The doughs are made to perfect , I love the cream donuts, bought 2 of em and after I tried it immediately turned back to get another few. There were really that great. Lucky we passed by and gave it a try! 100% recommended!!

First and foremost, I have to commend the counter staff , every customer who comes through the door is treated like a friend .From tot to teen to pensioners , nothing is too much trouble , no matter how long you take in trying to pick , pastry , baps , pies or the vast array of freshly baked favourites ,scones, pancakes ,but especially the treacle and wheaten farls .I recommend this bakery to anyone as you shan't find better.

No where else would I go for my cakes. Can't top the service from all ladies. Great prices, never let you down & call you to remind you to collect cake. Thankyou team

We get all our birthday cakes here. I just adore their vanilla sponge cake, can't get enough of it. Wish there were more occasions to order one! Highly recommend.

Great food wish it would re open

So fortunate to have this place opened again after lockdown. The short, blonde haired lady is the nicest person who served me. She so bubbly and chatting while serving me everytime I go in. They were sold out of my sons favourite bread, the famous Belfast bap. She directed me to a near by shop where they supply there baps to. I was delighted I got one there. Great Job guys

This wee 'home bakery/cafe' is a place I cannot speak highly enough of. I always make a point to call in and sample the homemade wheaten bannock, simply delicious spread with butter along with a cup of tea. A gem of a place with great friendly service that harks back to a time when standards were high and maintained. So well worth a visit to sit in or take a sample of the wide range of delicious home baked food to take home.

Tables were dirty guess that was as they were coming to the end of the shift. Flies every whereas they left windows open due to the heat. We where going to get some stuff in the bakery this put us off. Must be said the flies were not noticed at the start. Food was prepared in the kitchen just off the eating area which was open.

Myself and My friend called into the café for lunch and I wish we hadn't!! We seated ourselves, sat for ages before a mature woman with a baseball cap and an apron that looked like the floor was cleaned with it took our order.There was burger on the menu so I ordered that with chips, I was told "WE DONT DO CHIPS" no explanation why, just plain rude! so I took a toastie and soup instead,soup came with no bread or roll! 2 slices of wheaten to dip in is an additional charge 70p LOL, This is the only café iv ever been in that didnt give a bit of bread with the soup however to say "NO FRILLS" is putting it politely it was like something out of a building site lunch box ,toastie was tasteless my cup was half washed with something stuck to it, my friends white cup was all brown inside ,plastic grubby tablecloths and generally a dreary place to eat. I like to feel comfortable about where I eat out of and this place is one I definitely have no desire to go back to .DREADFUL!!!

Lovely cafe with a community feel

Local home bakery sit in available grub is top class every time

My wife and I visited after shopping at Denis Wilson nearby for a new Lawnmower. We tried another establishment for lunch but they didn't cater for vegetarians (even their Vegetable soup had chicken stock in it). Anyway, we ordered toasties, which were yummy, coffee, which was scrummy and wifey, who is not as fat as me went for the custard tart to finish - again, it was simply delicious. The bill was tiny too, so all in all, a great visit. Service would not be suited to those who like airs and graces and doilies! If you want good home-cooking in a clean environment at low-prices, then this place gets my vote.

A lovely little basic cafe in a lovely little village. The food is basic but very fresh and the dining area and toilets are very clean. We popped in here after a walk through Crumlin Glen. The cheapest lunch we have ever had.

Casa de la panadería es arbustos justo lo que dice en su nombre, lujos caseros. Sus tartas, pasteles, panes horneados en todas sus instalaciones, son deliciosos. Pedí una tarta de cumpleaños de mi madre y la pudimos transferir una foto de 1937 en la que, el pastel era una obra de arte y sabor increíble. Sin embargo, recientemente visité la cafetería contigua donde esperaba el mismo esplendor profesional, era enormemente decepcionado. La señora que nos sirve, una mujer de mediana edad, con pelo corto marrón, parecía molestarle que entramos, su actitud fue corta y aburrida, y su servicio de atención al cliente era deficiente para decir lo menos. No había conversación, cualquier preguntas contestadas con una respuesta que redactaran así nos hicieron sentir muy incómodos. Pedimos el estofado, que era insípida y hierbas verdes sobre ofrecido, el niño tenía conmigo no me gustó y el servidor no hizo otras sugerencias. Pedí un rollo de salchichas. Me esperaba más de este pequeño café como los productos horneados a la perfección es de hecho. Necesitan establecer los empleados de formación en servicio al cliente.

Nothing fancy here, just an honest local bakery. I have only eaten a sit in breakfast here, and that is bang on - decent cooked breakfast. Mug of tea (with a wee pot, again bang on). Nice to people watch out the window if you get one of the end tables. Staff friendly.
