Service wasn't great. It was a slow day at the airport and only a couple at the counter. Stood for a while and no one came near us. Then a guy with a yellow hi viz jacket eventually asked us what we wanted. Ordered 2 teas. All of a sudden he just left. Went out of the restaurant altogether leaving us baffled. The a young lady who was in the middle of serving someone else asked if we were being served. We said no and she said she'd be with us in a minute. Eventually got served. Wouldn't like to see it if it was busy. Plus side, the tea was hot.

We ordered a chicken burger and a chicken Caesar salad. Both were very nice and hot, and food arrived very fast, within 5 mins.

Food delivered quickly, tasty and hot. Customer service was great from girl at the bar who took my order to the gent who checked in whilst I was eating and when I was finished, little robots were novel too!

Process is quick, automated with a little robot bringing your stuff. Low score because of the shameless audacity for the request for a charity donation and a tip. Feel free to make charitable donations, and pay your staff properly, that’s expected of your business. Don’t ask me for a discretionary payment to do them.

Atmosphere about as good as it gets for a pub in an airport but what I didn’t like was the robot delivering my drinks and then having the cheek to ask for a tip. Absolutely woke.

Very confusing service for both the customer and the server who hasn't a clue. Served 2 coffees and 2 croissants with jam. Had to ask for a tasty and then knives to butter and jam the cr is a bit like a school canteen

Didn't eat here after seeing the prices on the menu ! Fish and chips is now £17.99 ! Barman had the personality of a plank of wood . Very disappointing 😞

First time using this facility and last . The restaurant was not busy at 7.00am We ordered a latte with Caramel croissant green tea and pani chocolate this took 20 mins!😡The latte was cold and my partner had to ask for another one we were not impressed.The staff were not helpful or friendly and were so slow it was snails pace Will give this place a miss .

For my wife and myself this has to be the worst ever restaurant experience of our now pension age lives. From an uninspiring menu we selected what we thought might be a relatively safe choice-traditional fish and chips although already off putting in that the price was nearly £18 per person.(Yes airport prices are stupidly expensive but this is really unreasonable) When both dishes arrived the exceptionally meagre portions of food were cold and the fish greasy and sloppy. My wife returned her food to eventually get a replacement dish which was equally as bad as the first if not worse. The most mediocre fish and chip shops in the UK would produce food much superior to the offering from Sip and Stone . The chefs responsible for this need to really reconsider their professionalism . Needless to say we would never entertain this place again for food and having read genuine reviews we are not alone in this decision. A section from a Belfast Telegraph review states that ‘The people who run these places should be ashamed of themselves, and the young people they employ to peddle this quality of food deserve a better start in the hospitality trade. Is it any wonder the sector can't recruit people when the likes of Sip & Stone give it such a bad name?’ Owners/management/chefs for Sip and Stone please take note.

Food was great and friendly staff(Mark) The delivery service is fun as u get it delivered to you via a robotic cat.

Jordan, Emma and Natasha were absolutely amazing. It's clean, friendly and really good value for money. I had some prosecco and white wine before my journey back to London, and I was so impressed with their AI workers who help them deliver food to people. The food was delicious and came in a timely manner x

Has no idea a robot would be delivering my food. They are not very loud and quite unobtrusive. Some lady dining here elsewhere got up to tell me the robot was for me. I chose to eat here for some table service as I had a long flight delayed. I had to get up to get my food and cutlery off the robot. Halfway through my meal my drink arrived and again I had to get up to get my drink from the robot. It's such a first world problem but I can't see how 2 robots bumbling around is any more efficient than a couple of people. Considering I did at least 40% of the work myself ordering online. It wasn't the overall experience I had expected. In any case had the caesar salad and it was really nice, though it's a tough dish to get wrong 😊

As a gluten intolerant person, I asked if the fries were cooked in the same fryers as the gluten products. Was told by the server, yes they are so not gluten free. I asked then for a burger with a gluten free bun (advertised on the menu as an option) Was then asked 'do you want fries with that?'. I repeated again I was gluten intolerant and was told the meal would just come as a burger without a side but there would be no price reduction. Not the end of the world I guess. Then I asked if the burger was cooked on a grill with gluten products and he said yes, they're cooked on the same grill space as Southern fried chicken. I asked if there were two seperate sides to the grill trying to judge the risk of cross contamination and he said the burgers are literally cooked right on top of the same space a fried chicken would have just come off. So I ask why they're advertising a gluten free option for burgers if the burger and chips are all cooked with gluten products. He couldn't see why this would be an issue. Ludicrous. I asked for a manger, he said there isn't one. I asked who I can complain to and was told to just leave a bad review on Google and tripadvisor hence my review. If you are gluten intolerant or coeliac, please don't bother with this place! Attitude and knowledge is abysmal!

Worst Guinness I’ve ever had. Lots of bubbles in the head, greasy glass (must be cleaned with all the food plates which makes it seem dirty). At £7+ a pint I expect it to meet standards set by Guinness.

Mark our server was pleasant and efficient. The food was much excellent. The robots were also a fun novelty.

Absolutely disgusting, microwave food. Had the £18 korma which was like a kids portion. Deserves no business. Get rid of the stupid robots, leave someone to complain to when you get served this crp.

I ordered a bottle of water with the breakfast, it wasn't delivered, not even after raising the issue with the staff.

The food was stunning, Paddy and Danny were great host and looked after us, say thanks to the team from the group.

Dude, I ordered a beer, but they gave me a toast instead. When I told them I didn't order a toast, they insisted that I did and offered me a refund. I was like, "What the heck is going on?" Finally, after giving me a weird look, they brought me a beer. I hope it wasn't because of my race or anything, but maybe the guy was just stressed out from working early in the morning.

The food was fantastic however, sits on the expensive side. The robots are a great novelty and the atmosphere is great with people buzzing in the departures section. Our server, Mark was particularly courteous and friendly. Definitely the best place to eat inside Aldergrove airport!

I was at Sip and Stones last weekend. The food was delicious as I had the burger and chips, as I was waiting on my flight in the afternoon. The Cleaness of the table was very efficient and determined and the floor staff was very helpful. Special mention to Julia for helping my family out when we needed help.

Last Saturday me and my girlfriend had a lovely meal at Sip and Stone before our 3pm flight. The restaurant was very clean and very tidy.

Just got 2 breakfasts a bun and 3 teas for £38, the milk was going off and we couldn't drink the tea, I asked what milk is used and Staff said fresh milk, I then noticed that she filled the same milk earns with milk without cleaning them out. I left the teas because the kids where put off, £3.59 each cup of tea. Woman didn't even apologise and denied the milfk was off. The ulster fry was very basic with one of each and cold tomatoes that where supposed to be cooked. Worst restaurant in Ireland. Don't waste your time. Also now to add to it, I addressed this with the lady today who served the Teas at the bakery part and she laughed at me. Thanks for an awful experience, my 2 children told me she was laughing at me.

Decent place to eat. The food options were tried were all good (except the waffles with berry compote - v v expensive for what you get). Drinks are pricey, but not utterly ridiculous, considering it's an airport. Food and drinks are served by robots, which is fun and effective.

Tiny crap burger for 16 quid.. reminded me of school dinners. Go to burger king.

Defo an airport ripoff. No vegetarian options on the online menu, went up to the bar to ask and they informed me that they would substitute some things on a veggie breakfast. Came out with two rock hard/inedible veggie sausages (literally had to break one apart with my hands), some avocado, a tomato in two halves, some wilted spinach and about 11 baked beans. £14 well spent 👍

I’m not expecting much from an airport Wetherspoons, but even by Spoons standard this was absolutely terrible. Vegetarian breakfast came without toast and the sausage was quite simply inedible, despite being human hoover even I couldn’t get it down. The bread with my fry up was stale, the beans were cold, the rasher of bacon was the size of a walkers crisp, the egg was over cooked and the sausage was dry. To their credit the tap water was ok, well worth the £26.

Fish and chips were awful. And for £17.99 was pathetic value

Mr. Mark was very good with his service. All staffs are friendly. Excellent food. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

tell people on your website that they are going to be served by a robot before they order table service. i was here by myself and when the robot showed up, all eyes were on me and a lot of people were recording me without my consent. it was embarrassing and i felt a bit violated. plus the robot moves so fast i wasn’t even able to grab my food.

typical rip off airport food experience. Way Overpriced and poor quality. i don't recommend going here.

Everything was fine meal experience wise but I was charged twice in error and I have been finding it hard to get through to someone who can help set up a refund for the extra payment. I was directed to fill out a form which I did last week but I have had no response. I would be happy to remove this review when this is resolved. Thank you for your reply but I still have not heard anything else regarding getting a refund for the duplicate payment.
