The worst cup of coffee ever sausage rolls we're cold hard and disgusting. Staff are ill managed unhappy as you would be working in a dump Like Greg's

The pizza slices are put in a bag and was given to us upside down and the cheese stuck to the bag I had to buy another 1

Extremely disappointed in the shop today no vegan sausage rolls was offered a curry pasty for breakfast disgusting. I asked for an omellette bap with no butter to be told all the baps had been buttered i asked why was this to save time also told no bagettes available either. When i asked to speak to the manager they were no were to be found very poor service.

Heard many great things about Greggs so finally had the chance to try one of their sausage rolls.... worst sausage roll I have ever tasted

I called on my way to a training afternoon for a quick lunch on the go. I ordered a vegan sausage roll which I have had in other greggs previously and know they are really nice. I paid and it was handed to me and o realised it was stone cold despite it being in the heated display shelf. I asked if it could be heated. The man server just looked at me and said no we can’t do that. No explanation, no smile he just started serving the next person. So I had it cold outside in the car and it really wasn’t very nice, you defining need them hot.

Called into greggs at applegreen asked for a coffee and 2 sausage rolls and a sachet of red sauce.the lady said sorry we don't have any sachets that's fine i replied can i have some from the bottle sitting behind you.sorry that's for the bacon rolls was her reply.i said don't worry I'll pay for it.she lifted the bottle and put some into a small dip container and duly charged me for it. I have to ask greggs management are things really so tight.

Greggs are much the same at any of their outlets I have visited in the past. They are cheaper than most but if you like your foodvery hot make sure to check how long their sausage rolls/ steak bites etc have been siting ( its to do with Vat not being charged I thinK). Their food usually tasted OK

Food was cold, coffee tasted off whole thing went in the bin. Go to Lavazza or subway for a decent coffee

I ordered hot food and coffee, and the young untrained server bagged the food and and informed me it was cold. I asked if he could reheat it, and he said they're not allowed to. OK, if those are the rules, I can accept that. I declined the now cold food as it was not what I had ordered, and he said "so just the coffee then?" I said I didn't particularly want the coffee now, given that I had ordered hot food and coffee, and the hot food was unavailable. His colleague plonked a cup of coffee on the counter and said abruptly "that's £1.80". There was no indication of when the hot food would be replenished, no acknowledgement that my order was incomplete and therefore unwanted. And most importantly no courtesy. The two staff gave the impression they don't like dealing with customers, and with that attitude maybe they won't have to much longer.

Bye bye Greggs! With its under baked food, discourteous and uncommunicative staff, I’ll give this outlet a miss from now on.

Due to spinal iniury housebound so ordered breakfast ad so glad I did, had bacon&sausage baguette, triple choc muffin 2 & Cappuccino, all excellent and delivered in good time by helpful driver.

I usually like Greggs products. Sausage rolls, corned beef slice etc. Their cornish pasty however is absolutely horrible. The contents is just like slop! and tasteless. 0 out of 10.

The girls behind the counter were making up food and taking money. All without gloves!

At this Greggs outlet staff were handling food and money without using latex gloves. This is unhygienic at any time but considering the spread of Coronavirus it was unsafe for customers. Usually one staff member would handle the food and the other handle money. They were handling both without any latex gloves.

Best thing ever to happen in Northern Ireland, great food, especially the sausage rolls, pity the apple turnovers were removed from the menu, staff are friendly and will cook items fresh if asked

Their stores in Belfast are cost effective. Alas not on the motor ways around Belfast. I dont buy any thing from them because of motor way prices. Staff needs to improve service skills

If you like your sausage rolls cold then this is the place for you. Called in this morning for a sausage roll and a chicken bake. Both were stone cold. Definitely the worst Greggs ever. And certainly won’t be back here.

Very cold food. No other greggs I've been too is as bad as this. I know their policy is they don't reheat etc but they need to sort something. Everytime you go in the items are very cold and when you ask if there's any hot ones on its way your told the standard answer of it will be at least 15 mins. Very poor.

Great Sandwiches n bake goid, quick bite when in a hurry or at work or even traveling with family or on your own🤗

This Greggs had no sausage rolls. Only one very young member of staff was present. He didn’t seem very worried that he was working in a Greggs with no sausage rolls.

i was in greggs about a week ago and i came across a pleasant young chap and he was very helpful and helped me choose my lunch. I spoke to a young boy, he gave me some advice on the bacon baps, steak bakes and caramel custard donuts, they were magestic. i will be back soon to experience this again as he was a very delightful young fellow!!!! I think greggs is the most magestic place to eat in the applegreen as all the food on selection is wonderful and the bakery is very great!!!!!

if my grand-daughter is with she is generally hungry so we call into to Greggs for something for her to eat. Good selection of hot food and not just sausage rolls. Also good selection of doughnuts. We all need a little treat now and then.

I first approached the then CEO of Greggs in 2010 about moving into NI and bot it took them 5 years to make the move and boy was it great. All there stores are performing great, a success. So we'll done. Applegreen made the decision and I welcome them, they are a credit. Let's hope they (greggs) make the big decision and move into the South.

Got a sausage beans and cheese bake it was cold. I mean no attempt was made to make this warm. It was a murder picture

Made us feel at home with a Greggs, we sampled their delights and were not disappointed we would recommend everyone trys them out good value for money.

Always call into greggs as I, sorry we all love the sausage rolls. Daughter lived in London and we got addicted. This apple green also has great toilets and loads of parking.

Always head here with family on our way to other places. Never had a bad visit yet. Fresh food at excellent prices.

Was here to get some of greggs nice sausage rolls. The staff were great and friendly, the food was to perfection and prices all round good. Perfect

This servery is a nice alternative to the Subway, Burgerking, Chopstix and Lavazza on this Applegreen service area. Very reasonable prices for a range of breads and baked products which are clearly quite popular.

Around lunchtime I drove in to the new service station near Templepatrick in Northern Ireland for a coffee and a sandwich. As Subway didn't do de-caff coffee, it was suggested I try the Greggs outlet next door. I am mostly vegetarian, and all I could see were sausage rolls, pasties and some very dried up looking pizza slices, so I thought, okay, today I'll be a carnivore and so ordered what I thought was a Cornish Pastie (labelling very small). The young man said it was a corned beef pastie, so I thought well doesn't matter, assume it contains a little bit of meat, some potato and carrot. Greggs is new to N, Ireland, but I had heard them ridiculed often by stand-up comics on TV and radio, so I knew I was getting a stodgy fast food sort of deal. I enjoy good food generally, but am not above visiting the local chip shop on occasion. However on biting into the pastie, found it tasted of nothing, the filling was a pink mush with bits of brown/greyish matter, nothing that resembled any kind of meat I could recognise and definitely no vegetables. I squeezed out the filling and tried nibbling the flaky pastry around the edges. It was really greasy, like it had been deep fried. I thought about taking the meat filling home for the cat (since it resembled Kit-e-Kat), but on second thoughts decided no, he probably wouldn't eat it either. I started to feel nauseous, but finished my coffee (not now sure if it was in fact de-caff, because I started to get heart palpitations, but maybe that was just the stress. I left and drove home, feeling like I might need to throw up at any time. After a few hours, peppermint tea and indigestion relief, just about feel recovered, but I will definitely never attempt to eat anything from Greggs again. They should be banned on health grounds.

I have to agree with others who have reviewed Greggs. Overrated definitely. I personally didn't think they have a good choice on menu so I opted for a boring bit of shortbread. Staff were friendly enough and it's a lovely pit stop but next time I'll be buying elsewhere. We bought sausage rolls for home and can honestly say our local bakery in Rathcoole offer a far superior tasting one.

£3:15 for a cold pasty and coffee?! I could have got better for less at spar subway or tesco. In fact il start going to the nearby spars who are run by locals and have prob lost business due to this commercialised monster.

This is the FIRST Greggs in NI. It is brilliant and tasty, There is something for everyone, staff very friendly. Will be back.

This greggs being the first in Northern Ireland is amazing. It has a good selection of pastries and soups and sausage rolls. Cleanliness is great will be back!

Nothing like you expect. Pies and sausage rolls just about warm. Might be fresh but who wants a lukewarm sausage roll or pie??

I visited greggs this week. The staff are very friendly and nice. The food was lovely. We had a steak bake and a chocolate eclair. Both very fresh and tasty.

Visited here twice in the past few weeks. It is quite small and compact but there is ample seating in the services to make up for it. The food is ok and reasonably priced, the ham and cheese toasties are recommended (if in stock) However both times I have been the service has been awful. Very rude inexperienced staff, that are unable to answer any queries without being blunt and nonchalant. Also unable to listen to what a customer asks for and get their order correct. Serving the wrong items to me on both visits, and to other customers too. The actual service station is bright and clean and worth a visit, plenty of other eateries to choose from.

Decided I was going to pop in to the first Greggs in Northern Ireland, I bought the sausage rolls and they were perfect. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely return again.
