Great find in Singleton Park, next to the âSwiss Cottageâ. Excellent coffee at a very fair price. Charming service.

Sunday takeaway lunches are good value for money and the ham salad sarnies are the best quality and price for miles around not the cheap ham like a lot of places and lovely fresh crisp salad made to order..

I stopped here on the way to catch my bus. The lady who served me was polite, professional and friendly. Good selection of both hot and cold drinks as well as snacks on display and at reasonable prices, for the wear traveller. Unfortunately, the waiting area next door was closed, but this didnt matter on a warm and sunny day, but would be different in winter! Will be back again when on my travels.

Recently had a brilliant stay at Crina Bottom B&B at the foot of Ingleborough (one of the 3 peaks). It is entirely off-grid but the owners have done a terrific job in making the property comfortable, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms have been furbished to a high standard and you are guaranteed a sound sleep. The en-suites are large and are like those found in a good 5 star hotel. The chef produces great breakfasts which are substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B

The food is out of the ordinary because the owner makes everything herself to her own âsecret â recipes and we were spoilt for choice. The pies and pasties are so much more than the words convey. We took the opportunity of stocking up for supper as well - the lamb mint and rosemary pasty is highly recommended as are the goats cheese and red onion tart and pork and black pudding roll. The cakes are fantastic. Iâd do that walk again just for the post-walk rewardsâŠ!

Pub and bar hopping around this part of town my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Greggs to grab a quick bite to eat and what a good call. Typical Greggs outlet, neat and tidy, all goodies prominently on display and ready nice staff . We were here on a Thursday afternoon, I opted to have a couple of sausage rolls, my brother opted to have a couple of pieces of pizza đ, service was quick and price inexpensive, we ate are snacks outside and planned out what pub to visit next . My sausage rolls were perfect, I think they're the best sausage rolls in the United Kingdom but that just my opinion, my brother also gave me a thumbs up to his pizza slices. This Greggs is to locate along Merrion Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 8am till 6pm. Most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and feeling peckish.

Called in on a Monday recently looking for lunch. My wife and I had visited a couple of months ago and ate in the garden. The food was lovely and the beer good. On this occasion we had to eat in the pub because of the weather but we were pleased to find very friendly staff and a clean and tidy pub with nice decor. The place was empty and we feared the worse,. However, we found the real ales excellent and the food, once again , very nice. The food and drink was inexpensive and there was concessions for OAPs. The people running the pub couldn't do enough for you and although we were on our own we had a great experience. Considering how some nearby pubs are so popular I can only think that people haven't yet discovered this place which is a few yards off main rod up Rivelin and very near all beauty spots.

Eat from her frequently whether it's a breakfast sandwich or something lighter at lunch time the food here is lovely and does exactly what it says on the tin, it's quick, tasty and the portion sizes are great too which offers great value for money. Will struggle to find a better sandwich shop when we move out the village after ten years but will be sure to pay a visit the next time we're over this way.

Really very good coffee, cakes look fantastic along with all the usual toasted current teacakes and breakfasts. Cafe itself is really comfortable and immaculately clean. Staff (and customers!) are friendly and it is located in the lovely Victoria Court arcade.well worth a visit. 5 stars from me, I can't fault it.

Sally Brownâs had been open for a number of months by the time I caught on to this fantastic Bar/Cafe and Live music venue on Bradfordâs ground breaking North Parade . It stands out on the street with a huge streak of Mustard Yellow , which no doubt helped the owner Steve get through some challenging COVID Lockdown months. Inside the decor is a homage to all things Ska / Two Tone (and a bit of Northern / Sixties Soul )and retro sixties/seventies . Even in the looâs ! I admit total bias as a passionate fan of these music genresâ . Food wise they provide a range of Grill / Dinner style dishes . Burgers / Hotdogs , cooked breakfasts , Jacket Potatoes , Nachoâs and Fish . Vegan and Veggie Options . Milkshakes , full range of coffeeâs . Also a bar with some interesting beer options . There is a small stage which accommodates frequent live music which is the driving force behind the owners vision for the place. Its funky, friendly and unique . My mate came for a pre match meal and were won over by the home made fish fingers and chips ! Even more by the Ska/ Revival reggae / Two Tone sound track. Its a great addition to the positive changes provided by North Parade and if it was in London or Manchester it would be front page news. As the Specials sang ⊠â Enjoy Yourself â
