RECOMMEND, A small, clean restaurant, nice staff. Very good food, and even enough. And some very delicious papanasi. I will definitely go again.

Food was good and tasty, good size portions for the price. Maybe you can change the sliced bread with some nice buns,will make a big difference ☺️ magaliga from tochitura to be presented more nicely on the plate the same will make a difference for the appearance of the tochitura ☺️ Friendly staff

When I ate here, it was incredible. The food, the welcoming atmosphere and although some people may think the food is a bit pricey, it's worth every penny! Catering for both English and Romanian dishes, an easy to read menu in both languages, Romanian on the top and English on the bottom, as simple as that. It also has indoor and outdoor seating, toilets and takeaway options, again, I cannot recommend it enough. 5 stars, everything!

A family business with amazing Romanian food. A nice small and cozy place to enjoy Romanian cuisine with welcoming staff. And last but not least, affordable prices. If you don't want to dine in, just take it to go. Give it a try and see it for yourself.

Great, authentic Romanian food at this super-friendly, cheap place. They even found a decent bottle of wine for us.

Popped in for lunch. It's a lovely place. Food cooked to order so you may have to wait if busy. It is well worth the wait. The owners are a lovely couple. Wish we lived nearer to this place. Hopefully we will be popping in again soon.

Lovely place, not so busy, good food and lovely hosts. If you go there is a must to try some Romanian dishes, plenty of choices and the authentic taste of Transylvania .

Friendly, polite staff with their English far better than my Romanian! Lovely food, freshly cooked and well presented. Much better inside since refurb/new owners. Will be back next time we're on Hessle Road.

Fantastic place now it has changed hands. Marvellous food (English as well as Romanian), very friendly atmosphere and staff. Reasonable prices, will certainly use again next time we're in the area.

Good cup of coffee enjoyed in the area at the front of the cafe, overlooking Boulevard and Hessle Road. Nice weather and the outside awning protected us from the heat of the afternoon.

Nu este nimic din ce este prezentat cartofi prăjiți in cel mai amar ulei, totul cumpărat din supermarchet cartofi înghețati ,carne vândută ca ceafa de porc dar de fapt este cotlet produse Românești dar de fapt manânci grătar gătit de un roman ,sa nu mai zic ca la masa care am fost era murdară si a trebuit după 15 minute sa ma duc la bar sa intreb cum obtin si eu un meniu !! NU AM MAI MANCAT NICI.ODATA INTR.UN CLUB DE NOAPTE CU O ADMOSFERA DE "DISCOTECA " FARA LUMINIA ADECVATA SI CU LUME BEATA DANSAND IN JURUL TAU NU EXISTA INTIMITATE LA MASA !!

We choose to go last Friday , we found friendly staff, home made food and very tasty,one off he best coffees ever have, nice desert - PAPANASI , some home made donuts with cheese sour cream and jam, really nice. Price was good as well lol .we stay late for dance party after 9pm , really good Dj, we really enjoyed the night. We spend more like 5 hours there. They got very good cocktail's on promo 241. Everthing was nice. We really enjoyed.

Very nice place, food has excellent, we ordered a Gordon blue and pizza. Maybe one of the best pizza I was ever eat and the Gordon blue been delicious and nice chips. Another thinks I was really like it was the Draft Beer served in frozen glass. 10+ place.

Ordered for the 1st time, really hoped would of been good, website showed good portions and looked nice. Very disappointed with the delivery, spent £30 on under cooked oven chips, a mixed grill with very little meat and what was there was very dry and over cooked. The cordon bleu had 4 cocktail sticks left in the middle, that only became apparent once it was being chewed!! Will certainly not be ordieng again and I will actively warn people not to make the mistake we did by ordering from this place!

I visit this restaurant a few weeks ago... i order romanian mici with skinny fries and for desert i had papanasi... omg... it was delicious... the waiter gave me a shot of romanian palinca and the bill was around £12... i can't wait to come back

Thanks Transylvania House for a memorable lunch. The food, which arrived pretty quickly was very tasty and well priced. The waiter was excellent and he was very helpful providing us with suggestions when ordering.

We been there last weekend and the food was amazing. Deffinetly we will go back again. Lovely staff, very tasty food and good wine. Coffee was one of the best I got it in my life.
