Visited a couple of weeks ago. Brought our dogs, the staff were very accommodating with treats and a water bowl. The service was very good and good quality beer. Will revisited for food as the menu looks great

Not as dog friendly as they used to be, we were watched the whole time we were eating in there, won’t go back as I don’t want to be watched because I have a dog

The food and drink at the Mill are excellent, the staff are professional and pleasant. New menu is concise and has an adequate range for a quick bite to eat, the fish sandwich is particularly great.

Local pub full of regulars nice sitting outside when sunny away from everyone nice inside also

Lovely food and nice and comfortable only problem it now seems to be the local dog kennels for the area which when serving food really not appropriate they should be made to stay outside

Went on a Saturday night, they had live music on and the place was very full, but not too much. Service was great and the beer was brilliant, best Guinness I've had. Highly recommend

Came on a Saturday afternoon for food with my sister, niece and her partner. We was well accommodated and the food was great. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great local place to go sit in the sunshine and people watch. Good service and atmosphere with friendly staff. Good variety of sport always on and the food is not to bad either. We got the tapas staring board nice to pick at as you have a pint and watch the sport

Absolutely beautiful time, my friend and I had chicken filet with fries and slaw, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the service was brilliant, will defo come again. Highly recommended, thankyou 👌👌👌xx

Great homely pub with a nice selection of ales. The only thing they need to work on is consideration of live sport. They have a lot of TVs but can only show 2 channels at once.

Great pub but we just stood at the bar for 10 mins waiting to be served by one of two lads or the young lady, yes it was busy but people either side of us or at the end of the bar were being constantly served and we were ignored, even to the point I was about to order and the young lady just moved up the bar to give someone a straw, then moved further up the bar after looking back at us, we never uttered a word to upset anyone or tried jumping the queue as many did but we were ignored, left without being served.

Great pub staff friendly there are plenty of tv to watch sport didn't have food . But when there bought it out it looked nice so will try the food next time

Came for the quiz night on Tuesday and what a fun experience with a nice atmosphere, reasonable prices on the happy hour and the team couldn't do anymore for me which made my visit very pleasant. I will return next Tuesday 😀

Great food Came to the mill for food, we shared 5 tapas and it was lovely, wide range of drinks at good prices. Dani our server was brilliant she recommended dishes, spent time talking to us and was very welcoming I would recommend coming here

I came here on my own to have a couple of drinks, such a friendly atmosphere. Bar staff was lovely, and even ended up making some friends here.

The Mill pub is in the old buildings attached to the the former flour Mill owned by ranks. J r rank was born here in 1854, this was one of 21 mils operating in Hull at the time. He went on to build a flour milling empire and create the rank film company. The pub is quite large with plenty of seating if a group of you are having a meal. The food is very good and reasonably priced the margherita pizza is to die for and the the two main meals for ten pounds is fantastic value, it is cheaper to have fish & chips here than from my local chip shop. No pub games darts or pool. Most importantly for a pub it has a selection of hand-pulled real ales. I have always found the beer to be well kept and excellent quality, and the staff very friendly. Small car park to the side of the pub, plenty of outside seating. Highly recommended.

Myself and a client was trying to find somewhere to eat and went to the mill. I was pleasantly supersized by the lovely atmosphere. The bar staff was very friendly and polite. We ordered food and it came very fast and was delicious and hot. The food and drink are very reasonable prices. Glad we ended up trying the Mill and will be back for another visit soon.

Such a lovely little pub, with amazing atmosphere and especially fab staff! Danielle was fantastic from start to finish. She takes interest to finer details in everything and made sure our service was 100% to which I can not thank her enough. She was so friendly and made amazing drinks too!! The food came quick and beautifully cooked! The whole experience was fantastic through and through! I would definitely recommend and I would absolutely not think twice about coming here again. Thank you!

Nice little pub ordered plain cheese burger and chips with no salad etc. Cutlery and sauces bought to table by friendly waiter. Then food came it was well presented and hot but burger had all salad in it and coleslaw on plate. Not what I ordered I didn't want to make a fuss and complain so just took it all off. Very disappointed that my order was ignored but rest of food was very good

Came to get some of my courses done, found a quieter spot during the day, connected to the wifi which was free, order a bite to eat and had coffee. Staff was great and so was the food

Excellent food as always, well priced drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. The staff were very professional, they welcomed us in arrival and said goodbye as we were leaving, can't fault one them one bit. thanks we shall be returning.

Went mid afternoon for food, the menu was very good for the prices. We placed our order at the bar, the staff brought out our cutlery and some sauces, and our food followed shortly. It's was great, as were the drinks. Will definitely revisit soon

Was absolutely disgusted to find a HAIR in my food after my original order wasn’t in stock and my second choice wasn’t either the staff never asked throughout my entire stay if the meal was okay there was little to no lighting in the restaurant leaving a very unpleasant experience I would strongly recommend steering clear

Lovely food today at The Mill especially the beef tacos. Very reasonably priced and the service from Danielle was really friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Lived in Hull most of my life and 1st time here and I'm an east Hull lad! Loved it, plenty of TV's for sport, good atmosphere and a great beer garden. Never tried the food so cannot comment. Good service too

Went here to meet a friend one night but ended up ordering food too. Ordered pizza, which was but one get one free. The cook made the complete wrong pizza. We asked the bar staff if we could have our pizzas in the box so we could take away because we knew we wouldn’t eat 2 full pizzas. Sara happily obliged and took the boxes upstairs of which the ‘cook’ then said “we don’t do takeaway pizzas” and made the staff on shift throw what remaining pizzas boxes they had left, away. Surely if you buy something it’s your right to take away the rest you don’t eat, I mean you have paid for it, right !! Sara was a great help on our visit and sorted our wrong order out straight away. From this visit I got that the “cook” was miserable and needed to take that massive chip off his shoulder. Sara was fab that night and the quiz was a great end to a rubbish start from a “cook” with a massive attitude !! Will defo drink there again but as for food, definitely not. He needs to alter his attitude talking to staff the way he did that night !!

Came for drinks and to watch the football, ended up ordering pizzas and tapas, it didn't disappoint! Really tasty food, great atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Tall ginger guy with glasses working behind the bar is very rude. Took my food order and what I though he said was "would you like anything else" I replied with no that's everything thank you, his response was "that doesn't answer my question, do you have any allergies" he then sighed as he took my card payment, disgusting, won't be coming back

At the Mill service is excellent and a good selection of beer and larger nice place to sit out side or in.

My local...close to home, friendly staff who remember what I drink. Food is improving could be better, would prefer smaller menu better quality and quantity. Decor could do with an update as could the Loo's and the seating out side isn't great but we love it and we have a laugh xx 18/11/22 popped in for cheeky drink and tea with the girls. Chicken stack burger, very nice BUT dried cabbage carrot and bits think an attempt at a salad or a slaw but no mayo.!! What's all that about?? Come on improve presentation!! Looked just thrown on. Staff always great and love the place.14/5/23 lunch with friends, food nice but cold quickly.

Fantastic bar , great prices and to be fair the food is always spot on and the menu does seem to change regularly it's my son's favourite place to go. Staff are fantastic even noticed one member of staff putting on cartoons on one of the screens for a child due to it being requested. Can't fault the place it does look a little tired and could do with maybe a spruce up but apart from that fantastic

Great location for a reasonably priced beer, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Building needs a bit of TLC as it's looking a bit run down however this goes with the style of the dated building. Beer garden is great for the summer weather though.

Always a welcoming place with great staff and atmosphere. Drinks and food all great and sport on the TV.
